But he didn't make the club the baddest faction though...AJ Styles did. But if Finn didn't created it and talk his bs about already peaking and left the company AJ wouldn't have join and made the club great until he followed into Finn footsteps
@lina1499 I said AJ made it the best not that he created it. it's like someone started a franchise but a new member take over and took it to higher heights in which that was what AJ did
@@guywhoateallthepizza1031uhhhh lmao I’m sure US ADULTS that watch aew since the start knew that already since it’s based in Vegas and it’s a casino feeling lmao Jfc
@@MegaRenegade1000that "Rock knockoff, The Pebble" hasn't been on TV for a few months. I've been speculating he'll actually be coming to WWE, as I believe he was a Cody guy.
I always find it funny when Roman talked about Cody having a hard time getting over meanwhile he spent nearly seven years trying to before anything cool happened to him
I always find it silly they pretend the other companies don't exist. I mean WWF and WCW even mentioned things on each others' airings. Usually insulting each other. But they usually had the balls to mention names.
WWF didn't ever mention anything outside of WWF for a long time. Guys came in and they acted like they just started wrestling or something. USWA/Memphis didn't even get mentioned even though they had Lawler and a lot of those guys. Maybe there was a mention here or there, but not really. WCW never got mentioned. NWA did a small cross promotion with WWF and of course it was mentioned. But, the last few years, The New Japan references were crazy to hear on WWE. And yeah the digs at AEW are common. But, until WCW started beating them in the ratings, WCW didn't get a peep of a mention. Then the war and they were off. And WCW never mentioned WWF either, since they were shut out by WWF, until Bischoff went nuclear.
@@1KQ_ they just ignore AEW, even AJ named ROH when Tony Khan owns that too, ignoring them its just weird, makes them seem scared when both companies can coexist perfectly we had Shayna Zoey and Regal's son at the same event than Moxley at GCW's Bloodsport IX and everything was ok and cool
A lot of these are stretches but even if you count those, this video has about as many insults thrown at AEW over years as AEW throws insults at WWE on a weekly basis
It's very similar to the promos that Seth cut on Cody when they were feuding, so I don't think Hangman's promo on Punk had much (if anything) to do with it.
@@kevinhewitt8043 Agreed. I'm just saying that the Seth character would have said the exact same things even if Adam Page hadn't cut a similar promo on Punk.
And people hate when AEW mentions WWE. I, for one, like it when the companies take shots at/references each other (That Will Osprey, "You had a Hit Row, I had a Hit list" line went HARD)
Tazz I don't think he's ever coming back but then again you never know he might eventually get tired of being in AEW. I would love to see him and Michael Cole reunited
one thing i was allways happy about , was wwe gave a shout out to sting after his final match. also the press conference question got roman to crack a smile.
Ya mean Tony trying his best to be Robbie E as Robbie was doing the gimmick way before Wankers became Eating Arses. As go back n watch Robbie in TNA as that is where the Mr. STONE THANG WAS CREATED.
Ummmmmmm Chris Jericho have said very negative about WWE for cheap heat reactions and Tony Khan constantly keeps WWE in his mouth on X Miro(Rusev)have said negative things about WWE when he joined AEW
owens using the pop up powerbomb which he havent used as a finish for a long time really is a foreshadowing the real prizefighter is coming back GO HEEL KO!!!!
WWE don't mind collabing with TNA, they even mentioned NJPW and ROH but damn they have a strict policy on bringing up AEW 😂 I really don't think it's that deep, AEW only let MJF name drop WWE in all honesty but it's just petty and pointless, just mention it if it works. It's not gonna damage your product
Looking back 1:15 is crazy. The guy saying it works for AEW and the subject of it quit that same company, joined WWE, and co-hosted (kinda) Wrestlemania with the same guy he was mocking.
I am a fan of Punk but I still admit that Page cut an incredible promo on him, that was his absolute masterpiece. Punk should have been man enough to take it and move along.
blowing you a kiss goodbye isn't an aew reference, that happened way before AEW existed the "double or nothing" is a stretch as that is a very common phrase
