I had the same feeling yesterday when I saw my mum carrying load she bought from the market, I was coming from work, just ran to assist her.My mind (this is the benefit of having a daughter)
@@holyhonor4611 I think it's because, they also never had that from their parents. And you can't give to others, what you never had for yourself. I speak for my own experience yh ; my parents never said, I love you to me ; And I had to training myself to, feel comfortable in saying it to my children's, and hug them, of course now , it's normal for me. Because, I wanted to break the cycle. It's all to do the type of environment we grow up. But now, we know, they did l❤️ve us .😊
@@Muzayavercy-cb6du wow that's nice. I'm a Nigerian and in my 30 years on this earth, my parents have never said 'I love you' to me nor my siblings. Yea you are right it depends on the kind of environment. Some parents are not familiar with that 'I love you'. They express it through their deeds though but they don't say it out. I doubt they say it to themselves not to even mention their children. 😂
Listen over 30yrs ago my father woke me out my sleep to give me a suck-suck for my birthday and it is one of those treasures I hold till today Suck-suck-homeade juice in small plastic bag normally sold frozen
This is a real Nigerian kitchen. Just reminded me of my youthful years at home 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. This is typical of my family when I was growing up. I was the one that my mom would ask to do this, do that, bring this, bring that, go there, come here. And I did all with joy. When my mom rewarded me, my siblings got jealous and mad at me. Wow!!! I can relate fully ❤❤❤❤❤love
This girl i just love you. You are so sweet. Relatable actress indeed. Who saw mother’s face when giving the meat? She doesn’t want to express much affection facially but you can see she loves her daughter ( i know it’s same person before people I’m just in the movie). Our African parents will hardly tell you “ I love you” but they will do things and you will know you are their love. These days if you don’t say I love you it’s like you’re from Jupiter 😀
One spirit leading them! 🤣sister; you really made me burst in laughter with this one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 god bless you my Cameroonian sister ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ im from Angola 🇦🇴
It like I knew what was gonna happen before it happened 😂lol you’re so relatable!!🥰 Mum passed so your video bring back good memories. God bless u sis x
I m an Indian but this same happens hear. With same emotions. I mean look at mum face while giving meat. She is not having proper eye contact with her child. This is so relatable.
Wow; I noticed this to happen more with countries that been enslaved by others countries be it Europeans countries or by America; in one way or another. This is why our job now, is to break all this ancestors history cycle ; so ours children's can be free and out of this, cycle emotional traumas .so we can heal ours generations now and to come. Also ourselves.by telling others, the words; I L❤️ve you 😊.
@@Muzayavercy-cb6duPlease rest and stop this nonsense!! Europeans were not so powerful that they infiltrated African and Asian DNA!! We are people who believe in action not words. Real love is a verb, “ to do”. Westerners cheapen the meaning of love. These behaviours are part of our culture. We are not mushy and fake. An American mother can spout a thousand “ I love you”s to her child and yet feel upset that she has to cook for him/her and not have any “ me “ time. Meanwhile an African or Asian mother will never utter those words but spend hours in hot kitchen, cooking everything from scratch, just out of pure love for her family! We have a sense of sacrifice and responsibility. I never want us to become Western. Despite Western parental utterances of “love”.. your children disrespect you, shove you in a care home and have therapists to cure their imaginary trauma!! Thank God for African and Asian values. We have not become soulless, restless, robots!
Thanks Chivera for showing the niceness of African mothers. There are lots of contents out there that vilify us but we can be veeeeeery nice too! See that meat 😋
After watching you tube I know I m like most of the mothers but my mother is one in millions or I think no one can be like my parents I never see anyone like them ....blessed to have them
Yes I'm thirteen and I always help in the kitchen and this always happens ,my siblings will then run to the kitchen, wash one spoon and beg for meat 😂😂😂😂😂,thanks for being so relatable
