@@kylerogers.4422 Not really, I am also lactose intolerant and I just tolerate it if I want to eat a good ice-cream. I tolerate the fact that I am going to spend 2 hours in the toilet.
yeah my lactose intolerance is so bad i would go to the bathroom >5 times everytime i consume diary but eh. whats a little pain to go with ice cream, you know?
@@mchanel. I hate to say it but I get bad cramps + worse when messing with dairy . But l still eat my ice cream, as nothing will take that away from me, nothing . I legitimately bought some ice cream today and am mentally preparing for the anguish that will ensues during my ice cream torture session .
@@mmmvenison666lactase safe my life. I am lactose intolerant and like many milk products and eat some every day. Lactase is an enzyme that helps break down milk sugar and is produced by default in humans, not counting Asians. But it can be taken in pills and enjoyed with dairy products without any problems
@@sidheart5645roundabout way of saying diarrhea. Bulimia - eating disorder that may involve vomiting. Other side, in this context - other end of the body.
But.. But people with "bulemia" are sticking something into their throat to trigger the gag-reflex. If it was reverse-bulemia, she would need to trigger it manually...
Is it possible that since everyone drinks so much milk that uve all just been living with the symptoms thinking it's just normal bowel movements@@parthkhanolkar7916
Indians are mostly lactose intolerant but if you consume milk often enough your digestive system gets used to it. But try not drinking milk for a month and you’ll have reverse bulimia when you drink again
The ironic thing is that a lactose intolerant person can drink or eat raw dairy without a problem. It is when the dairy is pasturized (heated) and the enzyme that breaks down lactose is destroyed in the process. That is why "lactose free" dairy products have the enzyme artificially added in the finished product as seen in the ingredients list.
I never heard: "I am about to have bulimia from the other side." I am going to have to "steal" (use) that line. And the way she said sounded like she was saying okay-do (like okey dokey as in its no problem), but it turned out to be her worst nightmare. I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt and I had tears rolling down my face. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Many lactose intolerant people are semi ok with consuming more processed dairy. Eg small amounts of cheeses, yogurt. Ice cream is also heavily processed. The closer it is to raw milk the more dangerous it becomes.
Shit hits different when you develop it later on in your life. I like my diarhea producs (inteded) and if its just bit of longer set of watching short. So be it
@@pani809 this probably shouldn't be happening since processing lowers lactose content. Quantity is obviously still an issue, if you eat way more cheese than you drink milk it doesn't matter if the lactose concentration is lower you'll still be eating more total lactose. I think the intolerance for most people is a threshold, you can consume specific quantities without the body having a large reaction. Why lactose intolerant people can usually still eat cakes and cookies and pizza.
The problem is that in the video, that is ice cream make from fresh, unpasteurised cream, very organic and harmful to the pants of people who have lactose intolerant, or their friend nose
Which is why colicky babies are not offered cow’s milk but can often tolerate goat or sheep milk. It’s not all the same protein or fat content from other animals.
I'm Italian (half of Italians are lactose intolerant haha) and you're totally right. Goat's milk is lighter and has a low quantity of lactose, instead cow's milk is heavier and hard to digest sometimes
Yeah, I have been to Japan and Korean many times, and all I see are coffee shops where plant milk is non existent, they all drink a lot of milk, and consume wester pastries, cakes, cream puffs, all sorts of things that wouldn't make sense if the population at leat half would be intolerant. And the chese obsessio in Korea.. They just put melted cheese on everything... I am not just lactose, but kazein sensitive, which means no pills can fix it like the enzime for lactose sensitive people...I do struggle to find food and drinks without dairy products.. So either there not so many sensitive people or they like to suffer.
It's kinda funny this reminded me;, i was eating with an asian friend who as she was eating bread was telling me she's gluten intolerant. She later complained she didn't feel so good haha. My lactose intolerant friend (someone else) did the same thing with cheese.
Pro tip, you can easily buy lactase in chewable form. It’s not really intolerance per se, we just don’t produce enough lactase enzyme to process large amounts of dairy.
Don't do this, it only makes you more sensitive. That stuff is a trap. You can culture a healthy gut microbiome that handles the lactose for you. The Mongolians eat boatloads of milk and they are lactose intolerant but culture microbiomes to handle it for them. Many people do but never realize. If you stop eating dairy for a while and then eat a bunch out of the blue that's where things get bad. But if you work your way up and eat some every few days you will be fine and your problems will go away. That is, if your actually lactose intolerant, some people have reactions to other things in the milk than the lactose and this wont work for them.
I use these pills. But not frequently. Maybe once a month, Max two. It works for a bit less than 20 mins for me. So I keep a timer and stop when I reach 19 mins.
This happened to me in Delft, Netherlands when I tried their cheese. I just tasted a little and felt it instantly. I had to look for a nearby toilet. I went to a nearby restaurant and had to buy beer just so they would let me use their toilet 😅
I think in Asia you guys get milk products with much less lactose! 🧐 Btw the milk products not really different in Europe so the cheese is the same in every European country…
@@wewenang5167 yeah still have no lactose intolerance ability! What some western-central and northern Asians have a “supporter” of you eat many yoghurt culture things then you can get some temporary lactose resistance because you put in your body some enzymes what can digest the lactose in a certain level… Again Europeans have this enzyme naturally while others have by artificially because of yoghurt… (you can lose this enzyme if not eat yoghurt for months) Not to mention lactose intolerance is a level or scale! There is different levels also depending on how much lactose you put in your stomach…
Lactose intolerant here hi 👋 We can drink raw milk due to the enzyme that helps us digest lactose. When you pasteurized milk there is more lactose abundance but no enzymes to help process it. So that is why process dairy is bad. But raw dairy is helpful. In a recent studies it also makes us more insulin sensitive in comparison to lactose tolerant people. I drink raw milk in cow and goat and in its cheese form. I'm completely fine. And so is our toilet lol
I'm so used to it that i got my timing on when i need l to use the l washroom lockdown. I love ice cream and would always get one at the mall if they have a store that i liked there but i would always get it as I'm leaving the mall. Usually by the l time i get home I need to use the restroom right away. My wife is still fascinated by how accurate my timing is
It reminds me one night when we were drinking at the bar and ordered a plate of different meat for snacks. One girl just couldn't shut up about her dad buying her a horse for a rides on weekends. All this time she was drinking beer eating one particular meat and destroying our ears with that "my new horse" bla bla bla. When she finished that meat she asked waitress for some more of that delicious meat, and waitress said more horse meat,ok. You gotta see that girl's face😂😂😂 We were on the floor laughing, all except her😂
As an Asian, I admit I rarely drink milk and we are lactose intolerant. but strangely our stomachs are very tolerant of super spicy food. No matter where you go in Asia, there will definitely be lots of spicy food
Many times when people say Asian, they mean East Asian. Even as a Chinese person I find it annoying. But yeah most Chinese people are on the spectrum of lactose intolerance. It ranges from severe diarrhea to farting.
@@bellab-lu9md Who cares "what they mean"........the word " Asia is a specific area Her STUPIDITY about "asian, so lactose intolerant "......is understandable when she doesn't even understand the word "milk"
Actually lactose tolerance is much less common. Because it supposedly comes from the people of the European ancestry. On top of that you can lose that ability to digest lactose if you stop consuming it long term
I'm white British and have lactose intolerance literally just due to not drinking enough milk so my body stopped creating the enzyme that breaks down lactose. Doctors said said I could fix it with extended exposure but that's effort
Bulemia from the other side 🤣, that sounds much better than "Duachfoi". But let's forget about "We're Asian of course ..." again very quickly. As far as I remember, the people who conquered large parts of Asia, including China, and parts of Europe during their military campaigns were from Asia. It's handy when, unlike your surroundings, you can also use the milk from your mounts for food when you're on a campaign. As far as I can remember, Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan came from Asia and were anything but lactose intolerant. And if I'm not mistaken, India also belongs to Asia, including a whole litany of dairy products or products made from it, such as ghee, kheer, rasgulla, seviyan, semiya vermicelli, payesh, ...
You're right, it isn't strictly an Asian thing. Basically cultures where people kept dairy cattle retain the ability to digest lactose as adults, those who didn't don't.
I've never heard about lactose intolerant people in my country (india), but later I learned that many of us are. Probably they don't realise or it's mild here? I'm not sure
Bro Asia have 90% of lactose intolerance while Europe have 5%… America yes have high rate cause lot of Africans and Asians… even in Africa it is 70%… (the sub Saharan part aka the black Africa not the Arab and Egyptians)
@@nilaksh007the lactose intorelnace just make a bit harder digest so nothing crucial…also the fact how you guys not realizing also how much milk products we European eat or drink! Most of our cousins is milk based with heavy cream and milk also cheese and the desserts full of milks! Like whipping cream and cottage (which is not a cheese!)
