I thought that dog walk one whatever it’s called professionally, was awesome! I remember people came to my school when I was young selling YoYos, and they would do those tricks along to a story, HUGE scam not one kid knew or wanted to know how to use a YoYo but they saw a toy they wanted and so those YoYo companies got a good amount of money off schools.
Apparently this is changing a bit. Thanks to yo-yoers on tiktok that love doing fingerspins I hear that non-yoers are starting to request the "tornado bind". I suck at fingerspins, but it's nice to know the mainstream audience might finally be learning a new trick.
Keep a cheap plastic throw in your pocket and when they ask you to walk the dog, tell them you don't know that one and pretend not to understand when they try to explain and then ask them to demonstrate.
Look, they have to check if you are legit or not. Walking the dog is the test, otherwise your yoyo is fake and runs on batteries or something. Maybe we should start telling people we don't know how to walk and then intentionally misunderstanding them when they try to explain it.
