he should have a video that leans fully into this "Alright, I've paused the battle. Can you guess where I'll be sending the mounted caster to next? That's right! The blob right.... There!"
Also great for recapping lost points and ask yourself where is your army lacking in versatility given the situation and strategy? The answer was speed.
I just noticed the increase in quality from your videos Legend. Going from 1080 to 1440 might not seem like a big jump but it really is in terms of being able to see the smaller details better. Hopefully you got that PC upgrade you were planning on. Looking forward to seeing a massive increase in the quality of your future videos. Hope you continue to grow your channel and community dude. Been with you since 10K subs lets keep it going.
Rot flies losing to little groms? Nah, they are a weird unit but just recently squad of flies and toads (2 units) managed to get rid of 2 lil groms (2 v 2). The toads couldn't really do much which was no surprise since they are not made for this but at least they kept 1 grom busy until the flies were done with the first one! I am glad Nurgle Garrisons got at least some kind of mobility
I feel like if the starting legion of chaos army didn't have the flies it would've been stronger because of upkeep, especially to newer players who think high tier immediately means good.
Meanwhile I still can't figure out a normal/normal campaign with Harkon or the other normal/normal campaign with Skrag. Seriously you guys who send in campaigns know a lot more of what you are doing than I do XD.
That day the only kislevites who managed to came back alive from that bloody siege where the seduced horse archers: traitors of the Motherlands, heroes of the Legion of Chaos.
A random and unrelated thought pops up in my mind while watching: here’s a big inconsistency in the game storyline - if the advisor (or maybe the Tomb of Fate) were so important and unique why other factions could compete against the player for the bear god’s soul? Supposedly other factions should have no way to figure out that they need to into the 4 realms and find the path. If the advisor and his tomb are not that important…. we probably shouldn’t see him in the game talking at all. Most of the faction leaders would just kill the advisor during the talk cinematic.
What if found a way to allow himself to be in every place? Guiding everyone to be able to claim it. So who ever claims it first, he will benefit off of them?
@@ThomasJProd he’s doctor stranging it, searching for the best timeline and method to get his hands on ursun’s blood. So he’s playing all sides at once but when the actual events happen it’s only the winning participant that goes to the realms of Chaos.
Not in this instance. When you control a small army (Or rather, do NOT control a large army), you can't decide where reinforcements come from. It may be specific to settlement battles, but either way in this instance, you can not change the reinforcing point.
Towers keep shooting their old ammo while an upgrade is on the way, I think. So maybe it would've been better to do that instead of buying new towers in positions where they have almost no hope of getting a shot in? Particularly for Undivided, if their t4 tower is an upgrade to the t3 one. That doesn't apply to all factions, like Ogres.
@@chobankovic I haven't played Undivided yet so I wouldn't know if their firing rate is slower. I just honed in on Legend saying the t4 tower is more powerful but less cost-efficient. Which is why I was wondering whether it's better to upgrade a tower that brings value for +1300 supply or make a new tower for 1400 that "might" get a shot or 2 in at the end? Just regarding the last tower he built.
@@PropheticShadeZ it's the same with catapult towers with ogres. These towers reach their max potential when it's shooting a unit in combat, standing still, or shooting a range unit that's firing.
So, I know this might not seem profitable at the moment, but I gotta say - I am missing your good old Mortal Empires campaigns. Would you ever consider returning to WH2 livestream-campaigns while we wait for Immortal Empires & patching for WH3?
When defending that position I have been having some success by building just the standard barrier before the battle begins (where you tried to build the spike trap), the enemy then doesn't attack that position at all and funnels them through the one entrance. I got that strat from one of your other videos and I wonder if this battle might have been easier for you if you had done that instead. Great vid as always Legend!
Hey Legend, would you ever do a campaign as Sudenburg? They seem to be kind of a joke faction that is supposed to wear their own blood from turn 1, BUT WHAT IF THEY WEREN'T?!. I think that would be quite a fun campaign to watch as i imagine the difficulty would be intense..
Chaos undivided can use traits from other chaos factions if they have high enough favour. Ie: Slaneesh will give you the ability to seduce, tzseentch gives you teleport stance, and khorne gives you bloodletting stance.
@@Nightmare_52 I tested out in custom battles on Very Hard battle difficulty wether Rot Flies would lose or not but Little grom lost big time. I gave Kislev a weak ice wizard so they wouldn’t participate and myself a lord that hid away, and so I watched the 1v1 and it wasn’t even close. Rot Flies lost no models and very little health and in return smashed the little grom. So LOTW gave a very non accurate fact. I know Rot Flies aren’t the best but cmon they won’t lose to that. It might be another story if the little grom shot 1-3 rounds but it wouldn’t matter since the damage I saw it dish out wouldn’t be enough to kill them.
@@calaranisordo5709 But in Custom Battles the Very Hard difficulty made the rot flies have less leadership, but still Little Grom is Anti-infantry and is a single entity that can't hit all of the Rot Flies.
I have seen the AI being really really smart tho too. I was fighting in multiplayers with my friends and the enemy outmatched us by a lot but their only problem was that they attacked with a small army meaning that his strong army will need some time to get in. I knew we would loose this so our only chance was to smash that small army before its too late. But the AI placed his army in the corner and was running away until reinforcements were coming bc it knew his small army is no match. In the end the AI won the battle.
