The old timey section was brilliant... but I really wanted to see more sanding because... well... it's torture and we are woodworkers which means we love torture (or possibly not). Nicely done sir!
this one feels like a bonus video bud. And a really pleasant build to watch. Though i suspect that it is one of those, way more work that you think, type of builds. Luckily it will still look nice when there are no blankets on it. You know, always.
Cute dogs. Nice blanket ladder. The only time it will be used is when you pick the blankets up from the couch, and hang them there yourself. I also lived with 3 females until two were grown and moved, so yeah... I know how it is.
I too live with 3 females and the blanket war is REAL!!! Even with the storage ottoman we specifically bought with our sectional, my living room is a Turkish bazaar also! I mean, I do have my NY Jets fleece coozy thingy but I “always” put mine away… yup, yup, I definitely do…. 🤔
fantastic vision and execution yet again! I also had this problem and resorted to a blanket ladder project of my own last xmas. I was going through a "burnt-ish" wood was the coolest thing to me phase, as that tends to obscure lots of small imperfections that can stand out more on finished wood alone (no stain). Also, what is your thoughts, feelings, opinions etc on Shellac?
I like the ladder, but the sandpaper is gonna wreck your hardwoods over time. Just take one of those thin rubber mousepads and glue a couple of cutouts to the bottom. Won't skid and won't wreck your floors.
@@InsatiableMonkey that’s a great idea. Sometimes you have to cut corners to get a video out by Friday, but would have much more preferred actual anti-skid material.
