I found this at 4 am awake and worried about paying the rent on the first. HOME, FAMILY AND LOVING COMMUNITY, what does all that mean? For those of us like me doomed to be orphans and widows struggling with government programs designed to keep you barely alive but not meet your real need to Churches that are simply social hours on Sunday and maybe some one time only charitable gifts. Like Ruth I need more than just someones cast off shoes, I need someone who will stand up for me like family. I need someone who will love me as a husband and love my fatherless child like a father. I need a good safe home where I can thrive and grow instead of low income housing surrounded by desperate folk and I will lose my home if I get a good job or a program that refuses me because I make too much money at $25 over the federal poverty line. I don't know what my "good work" will be but I know I'm going to be part of your church because God is with y'all and where God is is where I want to be.
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR PROBLEMS! AND I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!!! YEAH, CHURCHES/ "CHRISTIANS" ( SO- CALLED!) JUST WANT TO "PRAY FOR YOU." BUT ANY MORE OF WHAT GOD SAYS TO DO??? HELP THE POOR? TITHE TO THE 'WIDOW AND THE FATHERLESS", SINCE WE ARE WHO THE FAMOUS TITHE IS FOR!!!! JAMES 1:27 SAYS THAT DOING SO IS "PURE RELIGION"!!! HARD TO BEAT THAT, HUH??? NEXT CHAPTER HE ALSO SAYS THAT "FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. " 3 TIMES!!! (IN CASE WE DIDN'T GET IT THE FIRST 2! 🤔 ) HE SAYS THAT WE CAN'T JUST PAT SOMEONE ON THE BACK AND SAY, "GO. BE WARMED AND FILLED" WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING CONCRETE TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN!!!! AND THEN. OF COURSE, THERES 1 TIMOTHY, CHAPTER 5, WHERE ST. PAUL SAYS THAT THE CHURCH AND ITS RICH WIDOWS ARE TO TAKE CARE OF THE POOR WIDOW, IF THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE AND AT LEAST 60. ALTHO IT'S THE FAMILY'S JOB FIRST, TO TAKE CARE OF ANYONE IN THEIR FAMILY, WHETHER AUNT, UNCLE, COUSIN, NOT JUST KIDS. SHOCKER!!! BUT EVERYONE COMPLETELY MISSES THE TRUE NATURE AND RECIPIENT OF THE "TITHE" THEY LOVE TO TALK ABOUT ( DEUTERONOMY14 AND DEUTERONOMY 26). IF YOU ASK FOR HELP, YOU HEAR "SORRY!" EVEN THOUGH GOD PROMISES TO BLESS THOSE WHO TITHE, SO YOU'D THINK THEY'D LOVE TO BE SUPER BLESSED! STRANGE HOW IT ONLY GOES ONE DIRECTION! IF I GIVE TO THE CHURCH, GOD WILL BLESS ME, THEY SAY. BUT FOR SOME REASON, IT DOESN'T WORK THE OTHER WAY! STRANGE!!! I AM CONVINCED THAT IF THE CHURCH WOULD HELP PEOPLE LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO, CHURCH WALL WOULD BE BULGING AT THE SEAMS!!! THEY'D NEVER HAVE TO GET IN A LATHER AGAIN ABOUT GETTING PEOPLE "SAVED"!!!!! GOD BLESS!!!
When I was a young Christian, someone told me if you are looking for a church and the church you visit, the men all wear suits and ties, find another church. My mom attended a church like that. Her friend started bring a down and out drug addict woman to church, they sat in the back pew. One day a pastor approached him and told him not to bring her again. That was his last Sunday. I wish more churches would adopt a casual clothing approach.
I am 78+ I NEED PRAYERS I have degenerative bone disease in the small of my back (solid mass of bone) I am in constant chronic pain. I can ONLY have shots every 2-3 months. Dr changed my pain meds from hydrocodone to tramadol...it DOES NOTHING! I have asked to change it back to NO avail. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. I am a strong woman BUT this in a continuous chronic PAIN THANK YOU JESUS
Search out healing and deliverance ministries who fast and see many healed. I was in chronic pain and dying of ❤️failure at 23. Got deliveance prayer and I persisted in getting prayer for other issues. Most churches don't offer this unfortunately, you can wait for years for someone like this to come pray at your church. I know it's horrible to have to fight for healing when you are not well but it's totally worth it
What I can't take is how my father and mother are suffering.....my father made a great lose 10years ago in his business from then he has failed to pick up... whatever he trys to do things will go wrong .it's like a curse we have been praying for 10years ...my mother had cancer.. sometimes I feel am alone but listening to these messages helps me to go through life..... please life church family pray for my family 🙏🙏

I believe and always have. I had aTBI and never goes away. I now have treatment for my symptoms. My children hurt me. They tell me they hate me. My son with autism has listened to my other kids.

This is so real. Why there are things that just don’t change and when u do speak up that’s literally all u hear encouraging,judging and then nothing. Lonely sleepless nights when u just wonder fr God that’s all uve got for me? Am loosing my faith, just after being so close, and I know I isolate myself, I’m a hard worker and I don’t let go easily, but I know how u work Lord and just .. why would u promise smth for years and just.. I’m doing all I can.. I just wanna take my life that’s all I think sometimes cause this is so hard. And whenever u ask for help or try to do smth there are so many obstacles and like limits. This world makes it’s really impossible to live here, when u not like others, when u different, even though I know I’m not alone in this,and U gonna do smth, but waiting just .. looking at it all just breaks my heart.

I started watching this pastor, Craig Groschel since I lived in Austin and the pandemic started and couldn't go to church for sometime. I still listen to him even though we don't live in Tx. now.

Do you know what breaks my heart? I am infuriated by the injustice you see in courts or in movies! I am deeply disturbed by what is going on with our planets climate. It makes me sad when I hear about how animals all over the world are losing their habitats and their homes because WE ARE TEARING THEM DOWN! It is NOT right! ALL of us NEED to be WORKING TOGETHER to FIGHT this GLOBAL attack! If this is my calling I don't what I'm going to do but I trust that God's got it.🙏

I have had a bad case of church hurt and once "siblings" turn and walk the other way. Really broke my heart to the core. It was especially confusing when I spent some time in hospital. No one except the pastor came, only for a mandatory brief time. But no one else of my 'friends'. Then it dawned on me; I am in this alone. I'm living with a crisis of belief partly because of the whole ordeal of being ostracized. I'm tired of being bitter. Help.
Maugrim76 You are not alone in the family of Christ! Just remember; "Peter began to say to him, “See, we have left everything and followed you.” Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life." Mark 10:28-30 If your pastor only visited for a "mandatory brief time" I would suggest you find a new life giving, loving church to call home. Two years ago when I had open heart surgery my pastor drove 3 hours to the hospital then sat the next 9 hours with my wife and parents, not because he had to but because a life giving church understands that when one member of the family is in need the whole family responds. When things seem dark just remember, Jesus is right behind you and will catch you if you fall.

God doesn't listen to a weak sinner like me because in my 41 years I've known more let downs then accomplishments. More disappointments, betrayal, sadness heartache personal attacks from my own family co workers etc etc. And I'm sorry to say this but I couldn't even tell you if I could even hear God trying to speak to me since I've been so disconnected from him. I watch and listen to videos like this one and these pastors make it seem like God is just handing out rainbows and unicorns to those who seek him but yet here we are. Just reading all thse comments people are hurting people feel lost and are really questioning their faith. So God am hear waiting let's see if you can help me.
