Joel 3:2 “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Zechariah 12:9 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek my to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.”

Shaddad bin Aus narrates: The Prophet ﷺ, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: اللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّاأَنْتَ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu, a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu, abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya, wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi faghfirli, fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta O Allah, You are my Lord; There is no Diety except You. You created me and I am Your servant. And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability. I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

The Messenger (ﷺ) said: If one of you finishes from the last Tashahud , then he should seek refuge with Allah from four things : he says: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْر، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسيحِ الدَّجَّالِ Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika min adhaabil-qabr, wa min ‘adhaabi Jahannam, wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat, wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal O Allah, I take refuge in You From the punishment of the grave, And from the torment of the Fire, And from the trials and tribulations of life and death And from the evil affliction of Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal (Al-Bukhari)

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah : The Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Verily Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى has said : Whosoever shows enmity to a Wali (friend) Of Mine, Then I have declared war against him. And My Servant does not draw near to Me With anything more beloved to Me Than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. And My Servant continues to draw near to Me with nawafil (supererogatory) deeds Until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, And his sight with which he sees, And his hand with which he strikes, And his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; And were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge. I do not hesitate to do anything As I hesitate to take the soul of the Believer, For he hates death, And I hate to hurt him. (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

“For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
