When you dont pay we take action 

I used to own a small carpentry business (and by small I mean me and my son). Once we built a set of cabinets, upper and lower, for a remodel a customer was having done in his family room basement. He paid a 25% deposit (cost of materials) and then when we installed them, the check bounced. When I called to gripe, he refused to answer. We went back the next day and spoke to his wife (who knew nothing about it). We said that we'd made a mistake and used a type of varnish that required a longer set time. I didn't want the house to smell for two weeks so I offered to remove them and keep them at the shop until they were safe...no charge to them because it was my screw up. We took everything back and then waited. About half-past five the customer was on the phone screaming at us for 'breaking into his house' and 'stealing' the cabinets. I informed him that his wife let us in (so no breaking and entering) and he hadn't actually paid us yet so there was no theft. He sent us another check, with the fee for the last one bouncing, and once that passed the bank we put everything back. I hate to hear stories about the little guy getting ripped off.

Had a similar experience,re upholstered a restaurant for people of the same origin, didn’t get paid walked in with two co workers Friday noon removed everything I covered,had him phone me that evening saying he had a wedding party Saturday and if I didn’t bring it back he would have to cancel it,and he would have to refund his costs and be out of pocket. now he knows how I feel

Had a guy try and pull the same crap once. Had a 30 yard drop box full of trash. The property owner basically told me he wasn't going to pay me to haul the trash in the box. Little did he know who he was dealing with. Im the a hole you don't screw with. Went to his property while he was at work. Opened the back doors on the drop box and dumped his trash right where it sat. Then drove away with my Dropbox all with his wife screaming at me. I told her to tell her old man to think before he tried screwing someone. The next thing I did was file a complaint with the city for the raw garbage and trash in a personal driveway. He then had to hire another trash company that was 3 times the cost of me. Old saying don't screw with the bull in the pasture.

also heard this guys Exotic dont pay any of their workers, only offer them board and food and make them work over 70 hours a week, or couple of them st $5 an hour. so they deserve this

Love it, more companies should do this as the non payers drive up the cost for honest people.

Absolutely spot on, they’ve had the work, so pay the bill, you can’t go to the supermarket get to the checkout and leave without paying. I’d use the cafe to tip as well, I got beers for you all, nice work!!!!

I worked for an hvac company that frequently got stiffed out of money. We started to put cycle timers in the equipment. After 90 starts, the equipment would be locked out. It spurred a phone call for service by the irate home owner. We collected all the time.

This is Awesome!... I live in the United States. I owned a swimming pool company and irrigation company in Orlando Florida... I have went back and cut out swimming pool pumps when they have not paid... and I have also tore the irrigation systems that I installed right out of the ground due to no payment... Although this is not legal in Florida... you have to go through the court system to get your money... someone doesn't pay me I have always done this and have never gotten into any legal troubl😎👍

In the USA you can just put a lean on all their shit and start taking everything they have until compensated in full. State laws may vary.

They are almost always the loudest, most high maintenance customers and when the time comes to pay all you hear is "sorry my phone broke" "my cousin/nephew/grandmother is in the hospital," "I have the flu", or the most original approach "Inderpreet is out of the country, we will call you when he is back", Always sign a contract, collect downpayment and the rest upon delivery (as stated in the contract). Don't want to pay the remainder? Thanks for the downpayment / beer money. Read the contract.

Was a self employed person and after invoicing for jobs and not reserving payment after two weeks next invoice reminder was sent with, if not paid in full within two weeks the debt collector will be called in, friends though I was hard on people, well only had one not pay, so removed all weather board I had installed, don't know what happened after as never heard back, can lose time, but not money

Go to court. Ask the judge to seize the property or part of it. We don't know the amount of the invoice. If they don't pay, ask to sell the property. Basta! But with the costs to clean all that could be a really stupid move.... One can NOT do his own justice! So, if someone does not pay me, I shoot him? Ridiculous!
