Pastor Craig is about teaching Christ as an example of what works in life, which is refreshing. Think about all the 'Christian' ministers and leaders who have done so much damage in creating unnecessary shame and judgment. He's an example of what Christ is about.

You are the light....I'm 60,born into a toxic home genetic anxiety/dep damaged...a journey of pain and perseverance.I've survived abuse,rape,cancers,loss,divorce(married the same),etc.etc.etc.Born Strong to endure more than my share.1988/90 had my son and daughter,I felt my soul purpose God intended me for-they 'completed'me.My journey was never ending unpredictability.My lil alfie🐶kept me together after having to move away from N.Y. as semi retiree searching desperately for Gods blessing of peace under the palms.It 'never'truly came as the Lord continues using me for purpose in my selflessness for others.The very 2 halves of my heart,the core of my being 'threw me away'shortly after I lost Alfie(my soulmate).Although I was fostering 🐕🐕🐕🐕,my heart could take no more.I was able to keep going,then during lockdown my 7y live-in position w/foster🐕 shutdown,I'd already been sick n survived covid too,Anxious n desperate I had a 'breakdown'.Having to say goodbye to 🐕Lil Bear because I couldn't find affordable rental,I hit the road w/my strength n perseverance.Following Gods path has been keeping my endless pain purposeful(w/o my 2 +my grandson I'll nvr meet)Up n down eastcoast,I stayed in a hotel 7mths.used up my savings taking care of myself the only way I know.Caretaker of all,caretaken by no one other than Above-I did attempt to end this 'existence',the Lord called on an older brother of mine in Pa.to reach out and plea I give him a chance,hold his hand thru his pain too. Here I am,thanks to my👩‍👧‍👦,existing only a living death sentence years now,only 3hrs.away😢.......Here in Pa.very challenging more tears instead of Hope... 60y I've never known 'homelessness'...I'm perfectly imperfect sinner Me,beyond done w/Earth. Gods not done with Me yet? From the bottom of my brokenheart I share w/you my Strength journey....you,my dear are young and Wise to speak your Truth Always. Gods got a plan for you!😍✌💜🐾 1 day at a time.... It isn't a coincidence, God put it there for you so you can understand something very clear, that he is WITH YOU. Don't ever feel like there isn't a purpose for your pain, we have such tunnel vision that keeps our eyes fixed on the problem and it takes the focus off of the larger solution. Sometimes God will show up in our fixed gaze, to remind us that he is there, so you can direct your vision onto him. Even though we forget, he reminds us still, and demonstrates to us clearly, how his love for us is true. He is telling you to tie a knot at the end of that rope so you can hang on as he pulls you and your friend up! In Jesus name. Don't ever think that you're a lone in saying that. There are many others suffering just like you trying to understand "why" but, the word tells us that he will never leave us or forsake us. Sometimes, WE need to change, in order for us to understand the goodness of God. We understand more often in reality, that God expects us to focus on the fact rather than the feeling. Sometimes we oversimplify the presence of God as a feeling of joy, although that is true, it is not a stimulus. The presence of God, is there whether you feel him or not. And that acknowledgement, opens up many doors for us to explore the reality associated with our problems, that allows us to feel comfortable in the midst of pain, comfort in the midst of fear, that gives us assurance that a lot of the time, to be at peace, God expects US to fix our focus on what we know, not on what we feel. Jesus said we will have trouble in this world, but God gives us a realization of ourself when we watch him work. This is a team effort, between us and him. God feeds the birds but he doesn't throw them the food, he expects them to go and get it. Likewise, we need sunlight, God has provided us the sun, but if you sit in the darkness, you're not going to benefit from it. We must find balance between the things we are asked to take control of with the resources God has given us, and between the things we cannot control and, at that, we are to surrender it to God. Sometimes, when we observe something not changing, God is sending us a message that he already gave us the strength and authority to defeat our problem. Meditate on the word, on the fact, not on the feeling, thats why it was imperative for Jesus to come in the form of the word, because feeling a lone, Is not the answer. Facts are established regardless of feeling, find peace in that, and you will find peace in the resources (bible verses) that God gave to you! Tim - LC Social Media Team
