I like how DF has a beast of a computer and is always trying to find ways to break it and test its limit

By my count: 2 talisman, 6 bombs, 2 bomb bags, 1 key, 3 keys rings times 2^6 = 128 talisman, 384 bombs, 128 bomb bags, 64 keys, and 192 key rings. 768 bombs and 640 total keys in that room without the effects of the popcorn

First count: 5 bombs 2 bomb bags 2 curse emblems 3 key rings 1 key This should turn into: 10 - 4 - 4 - 6 - 2 but turned into: 12 - 7 - 4 - 9 - 2 which then turned into: -24 - 14 - 8 - 18 - 4 25 - 15 - 8 - 22 - 4 that's an increase of 8 to 26 and an increase of 6 to 68 on average, that means a bouncing chance of around 15 - 20% Let's take 17,5% shall we? Now with an average bounce every 5.7143 items we have to take into account the chance of those items bouncing too. So we can't just take the power of the starting value, that wouldn't let the extra items grow exponentially. We already counted to 74 items which are then doubled a grand total of 4 more times. We're rounding off here because 0.36% of an item just wouldn't spawn, while 0.78% of an item is a spawn, at least that's what I'm going with. 1 --- (74*2) + (0.175*74) = 148 + 12.95 = 160 2 --- (161*2) + (0.175*161) = 322 + 28.175 = 350 3 --- (350*2) + (0.175*350) = 700 + 61.25 = 761 4 --- (761*2) + (0.175*761) = 1522 + 133.175 = 1655 That's the hard way. The easy way is doing (2.175^4)*74 = 1656,03 which is slightly less accurate because it doesn't round off the items. So the answer is probably anywhere from 1500 to 1800 items on screen, accounting for bad or good luck. Take your pick.

Marathon the same round over the course of a few days, get every relic you can, every legendary relic, and visit alter rooms an absurd amount of times and try to max out everything. We need a beyond room sized swing and throw

You can get the duplicator, when you start running out of relics and get the HP cookies you just restart the game. Then you will get all the relics you've missed up to that point. *Edit, just saw the part where you noticed you could do that :D)*

Hey df couldn't you continuously warp between floors like you did for the relics to just constantly get curses and blessings? So in the end get like 1,000 blessings?

At 13:12 did anyone else notice that one item in the shop just randomly get dropped off by a pilfer and is now just in the wall? Its hard to see but its in the top left corner of the game.

Great vid! You should've left gold bombs for probably around 500k in last 4-8 floors if you get couple rooms filled with rocks and gold double them 4 times you'll probably crash the game or at the very least make a 1 million gold run possible. By the end of my first full run all I had upgraded was throw damage to almost max. Got all others after one run. My mistake. Now the game is painfully easy. And is gonna be this way for a while. Oh. And buy yourself potions that turn damage into healing more often. Curse removals and transmutes can heal you for a couple hundred. Aim for secret shop potions for a lot more relics a lot sooner. I once got 3 of those on one floor. Hot buns shortly after finishing 4th floor. I would love to see some potion or item that gives 100% chance for cursed dude. Or if he spawned in secret rooms or special locked rooms every floor. With every floor requiring more bombs and/or keys to unlock. Hope the game is gonna grow bigger and better fast. One of my favourites lately. One more idea if you care to check if it's possible if you can get 100 % or more discount in shop. Trying to get there but best I got is I think 70% . Not enough ways to break the game and not enough synergies. Isaac and gungeon are way better. Still waiting for some videos with those games.

I want to see what you would do with the Rune Factory games, they're like Stardew Valley, but the farming and dungeon crawling are turned up to 11.

There are a total of: 279,936 keys 419,904 bombs 93,312 talisman And that is 30 min of my life I will never get back. And that is the amount you would have not the amount of bomb bags or key rings.

Here's a tip: to max out your gold, try the spirit. The sylph can give you wealth, but it's much more minor. If you have Golden Delicious and the popcorns to do the double popcorn trick, here's the potions that give you money: Bottled Pilfer, (if you have one use it first, unless there's too much gold on the floor. Then you're at risk of collecting or breaking gold.) Golden Kernels, Seasoned Kernels, Auglycerin, Protein Shake, Potion of Plenty, Rainbow Kernels, (save any you get for last and if you get one leave other potions on the floor to duplicate, even random potions.) Chest in a Bottle ( If you get a cursed chest or blue chest it won't give you money but it may give you different potions from spirit level two.) Keep in mind, if you drink one of these you can get another one that boosts gold, if you have any other potions they can give you a different one that boosts gold, Blood Chalice can produce many potions since it may drop itself. Miniturizer also helps, especially with giving more potions. Now look at the Sylph. What gold boost does it give you? Wealth blessings. While they're something, look at the spirit.

The rainbow kernal potion doubles a bunch of stuff as you'd expect... but ALSO doubles potions (with the exception of other rainbow kernal potions, for seemingly obvious reasons). So if you were to get 2 or 3 of those, then used them in a perfect shop (i.e. a curse potion and an item doubler, on the same floor where you left some anti-curse stuff on the ground in another room or in a secret shop)... Think of the blessings!

If you like a slow game, unlock the food duplicating potion you have in the hub, save up on em, and duplicate golden food. It gets pretty laggy.

There probably is a mod that lets you hold every single relic at once, so try that if possible

Do the no return challenge. You cannot return in a room more than once. You can only use a bomb 1 time in one room . You must collect as many curses as you can. You must only kill bosses through swinging. Good Luck 👍

I'm surprised you haven't been mixing blessings and curses with your relics yet. You could probably replay floors until you get a chance at a legendary relic at the cost of more curses.

In addition to the obvious stone relic, there also seems to be a non-legendary relic you get when you help a pair of rats, called the rat bond. Maybe worth looking into. Also, it seems like the game can only display a limited number of relics in the corner, since i didnt see at least five relics down there, which you did have at the end when you lost them all.

Nice vid. Am curious why you didn't go for the blessings, though. A separate video? With that you could do all the crazy stuff you always wanted to do but never had enough dungeon for. Massive pickaxe swing and throw size! massive attack and throw speed! Thousands of health! Every piece of meat heals you for hundreds! Every piece of gold heals you for 10! Criticals every hit! Near-free shop items! Golden meat in the shop that gives you more gold than it costs! Numbers if you're interested: balance, strength, toughness, heartiness, regeneration, wealth, explosiveness, gust(?), cleave (?), demolition (?), slow metabolism (?) - no real limit to how many you can have while new blessings are still effective. (?) ones may have limited practical effect or negative effect beyond a certain point. craftsmanship - increases gold retention by 5%. if you have all upgrades, you only need one. (or none if you have sewing kit. most useless blessing imo). vigor/exuberance - after a certain point seems to have no effect gaining new blessings. Around 10-16 should be max. savagery - increases crit chance by 5%. Don't know what the base chance is, but 20 will guarantee 100%. loyalty - decrease shop costs by 10%. max 80%. 8 of them. fortitude - reduces damage taken by 10%. unfortunately can't reduce by 100%, so 10 is more than enough. demolition - 10 for normal bombs is about the max you can escape the radius of, about 4 for queen bomb (or it's parts) slow metabolism - increase potion duration. at around 20 i've had potions lasting several floors. don't feel that you really need more than that. gust - if it gets too big at the same time it will be harder to throw because it will hit obstacles easier. if you have the chakram, this blessing i think would be hugely OP. cleave - I unfortunately haven't unlocked this yet. Dangit game, give me this blessing already. I don't think this has any/many negative side-effects if it gets too big (maybe accidentally hitting explosives?) but i think it would probably be screen-size by 20.

The pilferer's ring collects gold only AFTER it hit the ground, so after it duplicates or explodes

If u can go back in the dungeon and redo rooms, u should keep building up curses and then turn them all into blessings and try to make ur pick axe bigger than the room and stuff

I don't watch Spiffing Brit, maybe I need to check him out. But DF and Let's Game It Out are my two favorite and the most amazing game buster and breaker or circumnavigator game channels I have ever seen.

So this is the guy from my math problems in the class

Pilfer ring doesnt reduce the chances of gold duplicating itself when hitting the ground. You cannot pick up gold (or any items) until it hits the ground first, in which the game determines if it should be duplicated or not. Even if you were to stand right where the gold/item would land, if it was going to duplicate, it will duplicate. If anything it just cuts down the profit when using the item doubling potions.

At nine keys, 8-ish bombs, and 2-ish talismans source, (not counting for "losses" mid-doubling), with each item having 64x after doubling 6 times, leaves us with (optimally) 576 keys/key rings, 512 bombs/bomb bags, and 128-ish talismans.

I counted _______________________ Bombs - 358 Bomb bags - 146 Keys - 88 Key rings - 217 Talismans - 143 *give or take 7 in each category

@DangerouslyFunny If you really want to break the game then get the golden apple, golden popcorn, and seasoned popcorn. Take the potion familiar that looks like a green ghost and get as many rainbow kernels as possible to duplicate gold/food potions in a shop. Then just start drinking all the potions. The golden food will duplicate so much the game will have like 1 frame every 5 seconds.

You don't have to worry about your gold not doubling while you have the Pilfer ring, the gold only gets sucked in once it's done doubling.

You should do the same thing but with blessings

Now you need to get all the curses.

How do you go back and forth betwen floors? I've never used the map dude but as far as I know he only takes you forward.

If you keep doubling golden food by also using the drop protein potions you can get a room full of golden food and get max gold in one room

DF you should use the gold doubling potion when you use a gold powder bomb on a big rock cluster

You should see if someone can make you a mod to make the limit for keys/bombs be 999 instead of 99. Make those double rooms more fun and also see true key blade damage

by using a simple calculator u have in that room 12:21 448 Keys when picked up, 576 bombs when picked up and 128 curse removals then add about 30% more coz of popcorn

There's at least 128 talismans, 448 keys and 704 bombs. I say at least because it's greater due to the popcorn relic, but just by the potions it at least that.

I just thought about the potential hell one could make with the Queen's bomb and Bombushka. It would be a weapon to surpass Metal Gear.

Can you mod the game so all bomb relics stack? If so, what does that look like?

Now all you have to do is get all the relics and then a stupid amount of blessings, or a run where you try and win with as many curses as possible

I've done a bit of testing with the Pilfer Ring, and it doesn't seem to stop gold from duplicating. The gold would duplicate regardless of if it was in my ring's range or not.
