I’m going on my 7th year and still drive like the first one. It’s not inexperience; it’s being a responsible driver and never neglecting the lethality of the semi I’m entrusted with.
I always ride on the floor. I did it my plastic Pete, I did it in the loner 13 letter shit spreader (international), I do it in my freight shaker now. Helps with leg room and I hate being thrown around by the seat and cab bouncing.
@@DLBRT same here do a few illegal runs every now qnd again and the stress is up there big time. So try to stick to local commercial and drive trucks that don’t require cdls. But damn dknt them bastards love to check your tanks and pull you for the smallest little thing
Many Indian drivers in Australia drive the same. Some don't call up and overtake 2 double trailer trucks over a hill. Dangerous like hell. They're here for the money.
@@ARSZLB When you play a game for a couple of years with the same people you talk and get to know people. Sure, some lie, but others don't really need to.
Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.😊😊
That's okay though. Mine runs 69 flat out. It helps keep my driving record perfect. Driving a truck isn't a game. It should be taken seriously. Too many unsafe drivers out here killing people including themselves. Driving aggressive. Pushing cars down the road. They don't think that another driver could be doing this to their mom, son, daughter, etc when they are driving. Or that driver in the 18 that ran the stop sign the other day coming out the Loves in Quartzsite at the same time another 18 who had the right of way was executing a left hand turn nearly missing a lateral side impact. Too many people already look down on drivers because of unsafe acts or because we are in their way on the roads according to their thinking. Videos and commentary like this only helps to enhance the general publics attitude emphasizing trucking in a negative manner. Not all drivers drive this way. There are a lot of safe drivers out there still. Missing the ole school crowd from the 90's. The ones who respected one another and did not keep a driver hung out in the left lane while trying to pass them for going slow in the right or runs up to the end in a construction zone cutting another driver off and nearly wrecking the one who read the signs to begin with and makes the choice to get in the correct lane. Driving a truck needs to be taken more seriously. It's a blessing to be able to drive. There aren't many jobs that pay this well without a college degree or offers the freedom that one can't get slaving away in a factory. God bless you driver. Stay safe.
You forgot the shades in the cat backwards homes do the dice hanging in the middle of your damn windshield the cab full of smoke stereo blessing with headphones on. And your Spinners going on your wheels just on the scale side.👌🏽👍🏽🤙🏾✌🏽💪🏽✋🏽👊🏽🤔😊🙋🏽♂️😎🍷.
Getting complacent is the number one cause of avoidable accidents. I have to remind myself of that all the time and it happens more the longer I drive. But to date I have yet to be in an accident and have avoided several by following a few simple rules I set. 1. Don't tailgate 2. Don't try to push the speed on corners 3. look at what traffic is doing a mile down the road, not just right in front of me. 4. Get out of the way of drivers who are speeding faster than me. ( unless they tick me off then I'll shut them down and block the lanes so they get to chill for a while.) Been working good so far. You all stay safe out there.
The specific scenario I'm thinking of is when you got another driver tailgating four-wheelers driving like a maniac. I'll get in front and force them to slow down for a while. I don't know why but people who are supposed to be an example of how to drive doing stupid stuff like that putting other people in danger because they are in a hurry or whatever pisses me off. I'll take the hit if it means saving a small car and the people inside from someone who shouldn't be driving a big rig.
@@zeusanton4147 That makes more sense, and yes I totally agree. We are held to a higher standard, so we should be better drivers. Not just more skilled, but safer and more patient. :3
When you get the one truck that wants to go 55.1 in a 70 mph zone but the truck infront of it is going 55 so he decided to take up the entire passing lane for like 20 miles
Its not the driver wants to go 55. At one time some of the semis were governed at 55. Maverick used to be one of them. Its not 55.1. Its which one weighs more than the other. 7 car drivers know nothing about trucks. Cut off 80,000 pounds rolling down the road and brake check across three lanes to the exit. Many die from brake checking trucks and turn around and blame the trucker. Funny how how that works in court. When the camera shows who the dumbass is. Guess what. You end up buying the driver a new semi. 😁. Get ready to pay a house payment. The judges like to take a shit on insurance fraudsters.
@c-w-h why are you so angry about a year old post about truckers driving way under the speed limit on the freeway. If your truck is governed at 55 then stay off the 70mph roads dumbass.

I remember I went to Swift and when they were testing me I went down an off ramp in 6th gear and they said it was too fast lol I was like bruh this ain’t gunna work out.
@@theenzoferrari458 lol 6th gear in a truck is like going 25mph.You try and ride 6th to the light so you don’t have to go low gear you can stay in high.
10 years driving trucks and I've never purposely avoided scales. I keep my truck maintained and scale everything. Just run legal and you have nothing to worry about
Is a conbination of 2 of the 7 deadly sins,GREED,you want to make more money being a responsible truck driver. After a year you own your own truck, now PRIDE sets in your are more important than anyone else on the road.
