that's a typical "first comer girl" behavior. it happens consistently from time to time. they don't know the rules and they don't know what they do. many of them seem getting blinded by the "racing rush". they are trying to smash everyone into the wall if they see that someone's passing. what you need to get from here - recognize such people from the very beginning. and never risk yourself by making such optimistic turns in front of them. otherwise you might end up injured. usually i just don't turn into a hairpin if i see the t-bomb intention from the person which i just passed. sometimes they end up going straight into a wall when i'm not willing to be their brake cushion and get from their way unexpectedly. i only do the turn if i'm confident that i can complete a turn before they hit me by going full throttle. if i really want to make a turn safely despite of their behavior, i just slow down in front of them gently before the turn so we get into a corner bumper-to-bumper with no space between us so i can control the entry speed and a line of all of us. but that's a tricky one. never hit back on purpose. it was your same crucial "don't be this guy" mistake as well. just let stewards know that some person is dangerous as doesn't know the rules. they will talk to her in the middle of the race by reminding about the rules, or give a black flag if she continue crashing into people. if you would've done that this way - most likely there would be no issues with the family pack. even if not, then they would be black flagged right away after hitting you. but you've chosen to be a "teacher" by hitting back. "hitting back" is not in the rule book and there is no difference between her and yourself from this point. you hit her back. they hit you back. it's a chain reaction. don't be surprised. this outcome is logically obvious. instead of continuing a chain of wrong things going on, you need to stop them. hitting back is not a treat in any way. a conclusion - "don't be this guy" is a right title for this video as it applies to all the key characters including a camera man as well :) happy racing
To be honest, I think you are mistaking incompetence for malice. The girl launched herself into the wall in the turn before she hit you the first time, so I really don't think that was intentional. As for bumping her because she wouldn't move out of the way, unless they have a blue flag rule, she's not under any obligation to do so. I've had enough inexperienced drivers take weird lines or drive into me as I pass them to not take it too seriously.
