I wish, maybe one of these years we can reunite Edelgard with Dimitri and help Claude end the racism against the Almyrians and people of Duscur. Sadly Rhea would likely still go Rampant and need to be put down.
The Yeet Massacre (SPOILERS FOR VERDANT WIND AND SILVER SNOW) No wonder he killed himself and destroyed Shambala with more nukes then needed. He feared this video too much to let other Agarthans see it and wanted to spare his people the wonder and fear of one dance.
"Help Professor, I've been cursed! I can't control my body!" "So Teach, what do you think? I've made use of that Dancer certification." "The crests are to blame. Hubert tells me I'm usually far better."
To this day no one is sure how the Great Fodland War devolved into a dance off, the only thing we know for certain is that it was probably Claude's idea.
@@OtakuPursuit while Claude's proposal and enthusiastic support for the event to the other factions is an undeniable fact, some scholars speculate that the idea originated from his trusted confidant Hilda, others believe that it came from the mouth of an unnamed gate keeper during some idle small talk, and a select few historians believe it may have been conceptualized by a drunken Manuella after a date gone wrong. At the moment, the most widely accepted theory is that Claude thought it up after a brain storming session with his profesor and future contest judge, Byleth Eisner.
We can all agree that: - Claude's been planning this since day 1 - Edelgard only recently got on board and still doesn't know if she likes it - Dimitri just showed up
I do wish that there was a timeline were these three could just be goofy teenagers and friends, Three Houses did a fantastic job of making me upset about having to chose between my children. I want to give them all Therapy, Tea and Love dammit!
Well that's the tragedy of it, which is a good thing. If they did what fates did and gave you a route where everyone is cool, it would be shallow, unbelievable and there would be no tragedy and very little tension or drama, so sure that may be your wish, but I'm glad they didn't do that.
But... but... Claude looked so natural!! This was HIS element!! He invited the others to his domain and proceeded to establish dominance in his domain!
this is my favourite video ever for multiple reasons: - the animation is?? so?? smooth?? - claude looks 100% natural - edelgard looks pissed off the entire time and it's hilarious - dimitri looks so out of place but also adorable
Claude is a shitposter and it's probably his idea, edelgard maintains that air of dignity the whole time and dmitri looks like he's thinking of chewing grass or something the whole time
Dimitri: _dancing because he's empty inside and has found new purpose_ Edelgard: _dancing because she managed to gain an alliance with the other 2 houses, even though she almost killed them_ Claude: *TRYING TO CAMOUFLAGE*
Okay, believe it or not, I got this exact scenario to happen in a play through at the White Heron Cup. I originally picked Dorothea to be my dancer, but then both Dimitri and Claude showed up and tempted me into reloading an earlier save to have Edelgard rise to the challenge. It was glorious.
That's definitely rarer than you think. For me, whenever I play AM or VW, Dorothea is the default nomination for the Black Eagles unless I've already recruited every Black Eagles by then. And even here, it still tends to default to Hubert instead of to Edelgard. So it's probably very difficult to get Edelgard and Dimitri to show up instead of Hubert and Dedue. But it's very easy to get Claude to appear: simply recruit the other 7 Golden Deer in AM (since Hilda cannot join in CF and she joins too late for a SS run to be recruited by the white heron cup chapter). My funniest screen cap was with Hubert, Dimitri and Lorenz. That was a good white heron cup xD
Recently I went through a BE route and wanted Dorothea as my dancer, the other two were Mercedes and Claude. I was upset when Claude didn't win, even moreso when he wasn't even second place. Damnit why did I make Dorothea's charm stat so high?
@@autusticrat I’m picturing someone asking Sothis about what kind of dancing she prefers, and she’s both too proud to back down and completely hopeless at dancing so she just the canon ‘dance’ and everyone starts calling her a genius. At that point she is too embarrassed to clear up the confusion, so she has to watch that dance be performed in her honor for 1200 years.
@@hiti6753 proud loli god trips and spins, making everyone, from there on, break dance in her honor. When the white heron cup comes up she's like "shit not this again"
@@powerj1771 a good thing for great storytelling and realism because every action has a reaction and such and such. Still, it would be nice to see these good beans have healthy relationships into adulthood.
@@purplearies9746 I feel like while it "worked" in Fates is because while Nohr and Hoshido were enemies the lore made it so there was technically more of a singular enemy for both sides to fight agaisnt. While Three Houses does sorta have that in TWSITD, it isn't exactly the same, plus the Chruch isn't exactly a force of good. And despite being called 3 Houses, there's technically 4 paths in the game. Revelations would be a lot more difficult to do.
@@Cure-Skywalker also it would mean sacrificing and going back on characters. Edelgard believes the church is corrupt and cannot be saved. They were the ones who made crests mean something. Dimitri has to give up his beliefs that by killing edelgard those who fell in the tragedy cannot find rest. Claude... ok he be fine....? And Rhea would have to be ok with working with someone she knows hates her and wants to kill her. Rhea gives me vibes of "If I don't like you then I will find some reason to have you killed." It does not work with three houses as 2 of the house leaders are willing to die for their beliefs. They believe they are right and the other is injust and horrid. Unless if you can 1) give dimitri a way to move on from his grief, 2) find some way to resolve edelgard, idk how because I've never played edelgard routes, and 3) give claude a guitar and have him sing so badly that they join forces, or just have him talk sense into them both. That doesn't resolve the church or TWSITD so....
I’d like to think that all but part of it was Claude, because the most violent and vigorous dance sequences were Dimitri getting carried away and it was just kinda... encorporated
Claude: wouldn't think about doing this, but would should the opportunity arise Edelgard: would think about doing this but wouldn't actually do it Dimitri: what is dance
@@user-ti5cw1ug6l no, it is the true ending because what you’re describing is the bad ending. This is the true ending, where you find another way that brings all 3 Houses together
The fact it’s their post-timeskip models makes it even better. With the student models it’d still be ridiculous but you could headcanon it as some dance class or school dance they’re reluctantly taking part in, but in these war models it’s just pure chaos.
The only massacre of gronder field is when they performed this dance to byleth. No amount of time rewind can prevent the the slaying that happened that day.
Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude: WHAT!? Edelgard: how the hell did we even lose! Dimitri: I spent the entirety of last month holding myself back from wanting to stab Edelgard, JUST TO LOSE TO A UNDERGROUND RAT! Claude: I'm...shocked that Dimitri was even capable to hold himself back but how did we even lose to Yuri and his gang of- Yuri: * ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dQw4w9WgXcQ.html *
@@shakirashipslied9721 i remember on my first AM/Blue Lions route flayn defeated edelgard and i started calling her "Flayn Emperor" as a joke. Also flayn owns the empire
Reminds me of my Blue Lions playthrough (3rd playthrough) where I accidentally entered Dimitri into the White Heron... and because I recruited all the Deer, Claude entered as the Deer rep. And recruited all but Edelgard and Hubert from Eagles. Edelgard joined the other house leaders in the White Heron. Most comical part of that playthrough.
there were very few agarthan soldiers who survived the massacre at Garreg Mach. Betrayed just after they took Garreg Mach, then to be sandwiched between the Adrestian and Faergus armies, with the slower to mobilize Alliance proving a difficult obstacle upon their retreat through Leicester territory. Thales among them, having scored a victory against the Ashen Demon, was hard pressed to formulate a plan for revenge, but a plan he formed and a plan he executed- to be thwarted only by the Demon's return and later the Goddess herself, facilitated by the Black Mockingbird's motley crew, and the Four Apostles. Too bad that massacre never got to happen.
@@Criminal_Turtle I could just not remember the explanation as well, I would guess however that it happened when he escaped from imprisonment but there might just be an explanation I am forgetting.
I feel like this just exactly fits my thoughts when I considered making any one of them my dancer class character. Dimitri is all like, “Please no, I suck” and I was like, “If you can wield a lance, you can dance!” I figured Claude would probably make a fun dancer anyway. Edelgard is graceful in battle, so why not? But I agree with what a lot of people have said already. Claude makes sense doing this. Dimitri doesn’t make as much sense, like he was forced to do it, but is doing it sincerely anyway, and maybe even secretly enjoying it. Edelgard is performing to perfection, is even the centerpiece of the show, but is doing it with an intensity that might not fit the feel of the scene. They all look so good! And I love the clothing physics too. Even Dimitri’s armor is fascinating to watch.
@@somethingsomething7993 Shhhhh just let the game have it's fun. She might be wearing chainmail under all that. Which hardly counts as _Heavy_ armor, but whatever, she's an armored lord, that's what we get.
probably model restrictions on the game's part, which makes sense considering the scope of the game and how it's already pretty taxing on the nintendo switch system.
Watched this four times over, and honestly--- First, Edelgard: Smooth, natural, I can picture that and it isn't weird. Second, Claude: Smooth, weird because it's a guy, but also not because said guy is Claude, I can picture it. Third, Dimitri (saved the best for last): *oh my goodness* funny because it's not just a full grown man, but also a full grown man named "Dimitri" wearing an eye patch and towering over the other house leaders *i'm living* And yes, I *did* stare at each of the house leaders for nearly 4 minutes straight. This video is stellar. Don't @ me. Love this, and I love the house leaders (even if I act like I hate El)
Dimitris mind is SET on delivering, Claude seemingly pours his heart and soul into this but really he does just what's needed so edelgard's competitiveness comes into play. Dmitri sees these two going at it and is probably the one who focuses on the dance the most. TL;DR: This is an AMAZING pice of art and I am so glad it exists
The secret fifth route where Byleth seduces; I mean recruits LITERALLY EVERYONE, and at the end when fighting Those Who Slither in the Dark; Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude are just dancing for Byleth, so Byleth can murder Thales, and Nemesis in ONE TURN.
This reminds me of one of my dreams last year. In it, I was playing Three Houses, and I decided to explore the monastery only to find the leaders were dancing like in this video. They were dancing to various ending themes, and they were confusing the heck out of the other students. I woke up, hoping that none of that stuff would happen in the actual game.
