I've been working on this vid for 3 months man... I wanted to make a video similar to the other 2000 hour DMC vids but even more goofy. Now that im finally done with this one I can finally upload more stuff. Might even be more Devil May Cry 5 hehe.

I love when the enemy never touches the ground, but I love it more when they almost fall but the players do some bullshit to not let him fall and continue the combo.

Genuine, serious question: How do you even get to this level of play??? I have a considerable amount of time on pretty much all the dmc games and bayonetta games as well but I have no clue how to actually improve to this level. Do you have like a way you would practice? Are you doing your combos on the fly or are you labbing them out before hand? I genuinely want to know because i'm really interested in trying to go god mode on this game like you since I'm a massive dmc fan.

So this is what you kept talking about. Holy shit it turned out crazy good. Did the stream where you kept getting your ass handed to you by Cavaliere inspire this by any chance lmao? Great combos and editing, it's always really charming how you build a little bit of goofy storytelling into your MADs, instead of using cutscenes for pacebreakers, which can be cool, but also there's only so much material to work with. I am still very anxious to find out just how much rust I'll have to scrub off my hands once I can get back to this game

Here's my two ways of thinking: what if Dante actually fought like this? Option one: Dante realised he, himself, was as legendary as his father in a way - even if not splitting both realms - and was thusly motivated to fight like this with spending his tricks on everything and still having more. Kinda like DMC 4 Dante, relaxed and just enjoying himself at with a normal gig, but now having enough happiness to fight like this and brush it off - even more on top of what DMC 4 Dante had, honestly. Second option: Dante was sad enough and fighting was the only time where he could actually forget his sorrows and be sucked into the pure bloodshed of it all. What if he's fighting this good because he's not keeping up his façade of happiness/nonchalance anymore, instead of maybe getting over part of it with the first option? Perhaps he felt good releasing some of the Devil Within that cleary wants to get out in Subhuman, if you ask me that's why I think he'd enjoy it.
