It's incredibly rare, though, and you're going to be right 99% of the time assuming that dude wants to bang. I think if you're able to get laid fairly easily, you can genuinely be friends with them, if you're hard up, it's probably not going to work lol and most guys that end up just friends seem to be hard up.

As someone who is stuck in a friend zone... I feel his soul dying lol. It's honestly such a shitty feeling, no matter how much affection I throw, she just won't respond the way I expect her to lol. The constant hugs and words of reassurance she gives without realising I'm falling even more in love with every passing day. This is why we need to start talking to each other as people and not be so superficial with each other! I stopped being friends (I repeat FRIENDS) with a girl after a while and I realized that while she was willing to help with obvious bs, she never cared about me as a person. Needless to say a relationship would have been impossible for it to work out...glad I learned that lesson early! :D

Same with the next two. He died of dementia with the last wife. He was a wonderful person but a terrible husband. I always blamed myself when I was young, but after four wives with girlfriends, I realized it had nothing to do with me.
