@@barrybrennan6101 This is another crucial subject but the utter absence of any other person telling me something about them (positive or negative) was EXACTLY how I figured out something was wrong probably for others before me! It dawned on me that no one warned me because they were all strictly no contact - for a reason! I mean with all my other relationships there has been some sort of HI of some sort both ways between everybody in some form but never TOTAL ZIP! That in itself spoke a thousand words to me when I wondered why no one had warned me. It was for their safety and mine!
When I was with them they resorted to horking and spitting when they were aggressing. They would spit on the meal table, at my feet in the street and even at shops on the bus etc. They knew it sounded horrific and felt profoundly disturbing. A few years of zero contact later, just recently, they obviously intentionally passed by my backyard and made a big hork and spit and then hurried off! I suppose they have a kind of Venom?
No contact is the best answer to a narcissist and other narcissists that they know you are better off being alone than being with someone like this! The narcissist will deny their part of the problem that they did in your relationship with them because they can't take responsibility for their own life so why, would they care about you? Remember that misery loves company! It is good to be alone then be around unsafe and dishonest people that will hurt you! I know this because I've experienced it myself and I am happy not having any more Contact with dishonest men who have no understanding of what it is to be a real friend!
He cheated on me numerous times, had secret Social media accounts. Constant womanising with very young girls. He is 55 year old grandad. Chatting everyone up infront of me. Txting and phoning other women. Guess who got the blame for calling him out on his behaviour. Me !

@@mikejohn0088 I didnt even know what a Narc was until December. Realised I had been married to one for 24 years and the other 3 years. Wow it blew my mind how all these Demons are the same. But I am so happy I had to Dark nights of the Soul. I feel at peace now and calm. If they didnt happen I would not be where I am right now. I’m on my major 2nd disgard the ones before I had a friend and she did two however last april 2022 I didn’t and I went back like a fool sept 2022 and just this week I left her ex that’s been apart of the triangulation from jump march 2020 pops up to show they been in contact that she has a dude now and the narc is messing with her they both are a mess however the narc did borrow money from her back during taxes and paid her paid everhthjng she said wasn’t a lie that was the final straw and as the narc knows my disgard approval she already knew it was coming it was shaky I thought it could work I’m not able to say it will never work it will always be drama lies deciet confusion all type of shit it’s gonna tear me up because of course they have good things about them but screw that god has more for me I no longer want just crumbs and someone flashy n looks like they got it I did love her however I was really loosing me and not standing up for myself all for love no mam I will remain firm with my boundaries and if it doesn’t fly it just doesn’t never give up your all for someone who won’t and incapable of doing the same which I knew we both tried compromising but to no avail I’m grateful 🥹 it’s gonna take a while and of course I’ll feel triggered jelly xyz it’s fine it’s apart of the process UNBOTHERED N NO RESPONSE OF COURSE AROUND OR NEAR OR WITH ANYONE THAT SAY ANYTHING SHE DOESNT WXIST
A Red Flag for me was when out of the blue they would start telling me about how awful someone was - bad-mouthing someone that I had never and would never meet. It was their way of manipulating me from ever wanting to meet this person and probably figuring out it was all bullshit! BUT yes, that was when they sensed that I was fatigued and giving up - even before I consciously knew it myself! It was like they have RADAR for rejection! I later realized they must have experienced such rejection a lot before to have such a keen sense and see it coming.
Yes the one I knew , abused a small child , when the mother told them to leave , they accused her of having an affair , it’s like they believe their lies , they are evil I have seen their eyes go black when having a psychotic rage , , they should come with a warning , it is good thing that this is being exposed as you start to wonder about your own sanity thank you reader❤
One more that I would ADD to this list is CONTRADICT YOU. In most cases, it is almost impossible to not have some exposure to what they are doing even if you are 99.9 % 'no contact' and they know this so they will invest in maximizing doing stuff they know darn well is awkward or difficult for you from the inventory they kept all along of what stirs you. In other words, contradict. Even if they have no access to your reactions in person they will invest in hobbies, opinions, food preferences, culture, religion, clothing styles or even dating and partnership styles that they know would be appalling for you. All just for that wee per cent chance that they can disturb your nervous system! For example, if you were allergic to strawberries they miraculously enter the Strawberry Pie contest at the local Harvest Festival! But if you adored strawberries and savoured your great-grandmother's jam recipe, they devote themselves to inquiry about the dangers of pesticides, home canning/jarring and sugar intakes upon the ignorant homemaker and future generations! I can give you many real-life examples but I would LUV to see any examples others might have!

Same happened to me.. found out about her affair and so she denied, deflected, devalued and dismissed me within 14 days....added an arrest on their for me me as I had "abused" er both physically and mentally". The came her using our son against me to make sure I couldn't recover.2 years in and I'm still in complete disbelief at how she ended a 14 year happy relationship. I had exhausted myself as her supply and she needed an upgrade. She didn't mess about when I was found out what was going on..her family still.think I did terrible things to her. I cant stand up and talk as she reacts angrily and again, uses my son as my punishment. I have to be quiet and still just to keep my own mental health intact... look after yourselves
the random messages is spot on! and so weird. one minute you get a message saying they can't bear life without you. then.... nothing. inconsistent. creepy.
So far you have described with all 6 points, exactly everything that happened to me in the previous relationship.. Strangely, until now I believed that people can change, that there is good in everyone, that everyone has hard times, and needs support, persistence. But the support the narcissist wanted from me and my family was endless.
When I wasn't showing any signs of wanting to break up and expressing a lot of concern, tears and pleading for us to at least work through closure together (another thing that keeps you hooked), they pretended that I or any relationship didn't exist so never mentioned us etc. Exactly when I decided to 'escape the madness', suddenly I existed and they wanted to tell the whole world about this freak partner they have! It backfired for them though when one acquaintance wondered why they poured their heart out about this freak person & family that they had devoted four years to, worked with and lived across the street - when they had been saying for months they were new in town and didn't know anyone to do stuff with and were seeking work! And it double backfired for them when they told me this acquaintance didn't like me - even when they had told me no acquaintance existed! UG !!!!!
i grewq up in a narc family system and i lived 2 years with a narcisistc parent in a country different than mine, i had to leave there to save my life in different ways, and after i left i coped by drinking alcohol to numb the pain of the abuse. After getting sobber i stil had the trauma issues untreated and they where the real reason i drank, blessed to have found a support group that deals with trauma, and cptsd and that sort of stuff someone witnessed me as a survivor, and held space for me, modeled the tools of gentleness and healthy boundaries which gradually i started implmeneting, the gentleness on myself, and healthy boundaries to keep my inner child safe, and following through with them and thats when my inner child and true self came out again, and i promised to have my own back in a healthy way first, and honor the nudges of my inner child, when my inner child asks me to speak up for him, that helps me find safe enough people whom are avialbale, i dont want to be in any relationship with a narc that is a user, and that wants supply their energy is tellingfrom the get go usually. They try to project their own shit onto other people, their own selfhatred their own internall crap, i need to keep gentleness on myself and healthy boundaries , and keep connecting with safe enough people that are empathic and so we can have reciprocal relationships, ive intvested alot into my healing , and my inner child is worth me continuing to be gentle on him , have healhty boundaries take up space for myinnre child , and connect with healthy people, i understand soome people have nothing to give emotionally. And so after all i have invested into my healing and having my inner childs back, to be gentle on myslef and have healthy boundaries, and stay true to my inner child and find safe enough people, i dont want to get involved with any body where i see refdflags and they are flatout users, and then want to blameshift if they get called out on their redflags, or boundaries are set, i just try to keep gentleness on myself healthy boundaries, speaka my truth and then disengage, and keep connecting with safe enough people where the connection is medicinal... We are worth it everybodies.... With gentlenes humor love and respect, selfcompassion healthy boundaries and integrity and attunement to my inner child and true self, aand safe enough connection. ANd navigating the world that has some narcs in it with civility, boundaries, and emotional distance, and taking up our own space when we need to and sharing our true selves in it ......... were worth it . .......God speed everybody. I know a couple hes a rich narc. She’s a selfless caring person He spent his time arguing fighting and instigating jealousy She followed me for a solid month because he was expressing his interest in me to her. Fast fwd I haven’t spoken to him in a long minute. And out of nowhere he calls. He forgot im not available for him. And he tells me shes had a stroke and has lost the left side of her movements. While hes telling me this. He happens to slip in how abused he is and abusive she was. Really making her out nuts to me. All the while forgetting i know what kind of woman she is. These narcs are emotional sadists. This is a common denominator binding all narcs. She’s in rehabilitation care and he can’t visit her because the unit is in lockdown Id say thats awful “normally “ but considering hes an emotional sadist. It’s probably an excellent thing that he can’t see the results of his torment to torment her another minute. She doesn’t deserve this fate imo. And i think hed just love to go see her to say things to her because she can no longer speak as consequence of this stroke he aggravated to fruition.
When you leave these disfunctional people you later find peace with yourself and you no longer want any more men that have hurt you by their Negative Behavior and actions who have no conception of real love or friendship this is why I am single for me this Statement is for you why, be stuck in a disfunctional relationship and be unhappy for the same reason why didn't you just Figure out this is not for you why be miserable in a miserable relationshit's better to be single and then be happy then be with someone that. I suppose I have been just as bad by complaining about my family and mother online and posting stuff up about their negative behaviour towards me but I just want the truth to get out and I feel trapped so I feel that this is the only thing I Can Do at the moment as I live with my Mother who gossips about me to her brother, sister and all relatives and friends.
I'm struggling to find myself again after a break up with a narc. Problem is, I have a baby with him, and he only threatens to take me to court for her when I don't feed into his drama. In a way I know I have to block him and keep it pushing.. but I'm scared cause if I piss him off idk what he's gonna do.
I went to work for a few great lawyers tell them your story and they'll send the guy a letter. When my children were supposed to go see him, one of the lawyers would FedEx him an agreement to sign first. If he redacted any of it, the children just didn't get on the plane. This also worked quite well for getting child support on time

I got away from the textbook narc. but he knows where my mum lives. She is elderly & bed bound. He rings her doorbell at random times of the day at midnight or early morning. He has even whistled outside her bedroom when she tries to sleep. She is ignoring him, but for how long?
I left her early on, after couple of months of Intense roller coaster sex and romance. When she turned, i began to record our encounters but also documented her property etc. This when she hinted that she will report myself to the police accusing me of rape, theft and extortion. Boy was she mad when i mitigated her apparently go to nuclear weapon.

Narcissists like to argue because they are super competitive. In their minds, they win every argument because they think they are flawless and perfect... superior to everyone else. They actually get a thrill out of conflict (which is pathetic, sick, and evil). They are eager to fight over the smallest of disagreements, because it gives them a sense of control over other people.
