This is really helpful. Loosing my dad in 2017 and then my only brother and sibling after in 2023 was the hardest phase of my life. I became so disappointed when I prayed and trusted God to change the situation but it didn’t. But after listening to todays 100 DOD I’m consoled and I understand his will

It’s been 33 days of my mom’s demise (A reality too much to bear) because I’m still in shock and haven’t been able to sleep since then. Her death is really taking its toll on me as she died barely 11 months after my dad was buried, but my only consolation is that she’s in a better place.
Thinking about how my late mum who kept trusting God for her healing from cancer eventually still passed less than a year ago, i just had to trust and still keep trusting in His sovereign will and look forward to seeing her again in glory on the other side of eternity.
Lost a loved one about a month ago, she died in my arms about 12am midnight thereabout, after taking her to the mortuary, the next few days wasn't quite easy for me, cause I had questions, I kept asking the Lord shey it is written "when we lay hands on the sick, they will recover". I laid hand's, I prayed ( in tongues) I kept asking God what i missed. It got to a point I started telling myself maybe it's because I didn't rebuke the spirit of death at that moment, you know like Jesus did scream when He got to Lazarus tomb. Well this really helps, I believe I now know better, she's in a better place and in the future. Thanks Apostle. ❤

Today’s teaching and the past 3 are for me. Last night I cried so much over the losss of my mum. I wished for death for myself. After 2 years the pain is still so fresh. I remember weeks after my mom died, I was just using different coping mechanism to hide my grief, but when i listen to one of pastey message name APOLOGIA, in the first few minutes of pastey address my situation with Rom 8:28, and i actually came into an awareness that lifted the burden of grief from my heart. The ultimate hope of the believer is that at the trump of God, the dead in Christ will rise. The joy we have when the dead rises should not be different from the hope we have when the dead stays dead. Thank you Sir.
If I pray for the dead to rise and they don’t get up, my hope is not lost. Death is also not a tragedy for us. This is comforting as I blamed myself continuously for not stepping in to pray for a loved one when they died. Dealt with so much innner guilt of what I could have done and how she could have been brought back to life. But Jesus is glorified, every day.
Praying for the dead in Christ to rise again is already an answered prayer but the issue is when? We must be comforted that anyone who dies in the Lord is in a better place.
