If you get so blitzed you that you think you got married the night before you definitely need water followed by Gatorade or Powerade (or PediaLyte) & then some Canada Dry Ginger Ale. I've tried Seagram's Ginger Ale, it made me feel like I was drunk & I was trying to get rid of vertigo, that happened when I was 16 in High School, 28 yrs ago.
Greasy foods are great for hangovers. Make a burger and add an egg. Drink an electrolyte mix. If the hangover is really bad, then get one of those alpha brain or neuro fuel drink packets from your local fancy grocery store. Drinking a *little* is good if you have withdrawal symptoms. Promoting drinking for a hangover in general is irresponsible.
if you have withdrawal symptoms - don't drink alcohol - you already had too much. Coffee + full english breakfast with orange juice or fizzy drinks is best cure.
As someone who used to drink from sunup to sundown, you should really warn people that doing this repeatedly will cause physical alcohol withdrawals. That shit can be fatal and alot of people don't know about it, until it starts happening to them and they assume it's bad anxiety.
Hair of the dog doesn't really do anything for hangovers though. A nice greasy breakfast (I like bacon, eggs, and hash browns) and a sports drink/electrolyte mix with some ibuprofen is what you really need.
I love booze as much as anyone else but if your doing " hair of the dog " then you need to slow down . Drink some water , vitamins and a good meal . Take a damn break .
@@BrendanGregg-uh4lw I can drink a 12 pack of twisted tea and not have a hangover at all, for me the hangover comes if I drink vodka or any kind of seltzer.
