This is my replay. Thank you so much for posting it. I wasn't sure what they were playing once i saw the maxx c. I took a chance, so see if I could do a card destruction burn
Of all the decks to Maxx C, Trickstars are the worst option. Especially when they have monsters that do more damage the more you draw and the bigger hand you have.
@casually_lurking even better, Lycoris deals damage any time a card is added to their hand. So Lab players kill themselves by recycling cards from the field back to their hand. I loved the event because there were so many duels where under normal circumstances I'd have lost but players didn't stop to think that they should just stick with their 2k+ beaters on the field instead of finishing their combos and killing themselves with burn damage.
@Vanessomatic Modern thinkers tend to assume they can "combo through" and "only the last life point counts" in my experience; the later is true, but the fore is very much so a death sentence as often as it's not.
@@casually_lurkinglife points matters :D as plant player, I do want have more for some effects to happen. Rikka/Aroma/Sunavalon kinda wants more LP for combos
I had a Vaalmonica mirror and my opponent took itself out after linking into Goddess and I lived on 200 LP. That was an experience. Sky would love this event with her starting trickstar deck.
The Skull Invitation event is really hilarious, a dude used reasoning with sky striker deck and destroyed himself even before the very first turn ends 😂
Seeing someone get Card Destruction while in Maxx C is funny, doing it in this event is even funnier. Also, are they really Maxx C a Trickstar player? In a Burn event????
That event was pretty scary since in a way it limited me from special summoning so much. I never cheat in this game but I guess you could call it cheating when I chose to destroy that trap on both sides of the field.
@@chiarenza451 that is if they don’t use Called By on one of the Lab pieces first, which may have still happened if Ash was not used based on how this replay went
I’m worried if they plan to make event like this harder by adding traps on the field that limit you from activating spells, traps, or limiting you from special summoning per turn.
Though honestly if they did rivalry or gozen it wouldn’t be awful cause you can build around those by just making a deck that doesn’t care about attribute/type limits
and yet they think max C is a problem in the actual game. It's certainly a problem, but when only around 4 decks out of over 100 archetypes are viable... don't think it's C's fault that it does what it does.
As an exodia deck Do it if you can You might lose early if you don't lol But doing so will probably help me get exodia incarnate out faster You can try to banish the pieces from the graveyard.... but that's why I also run different dimension burial lol
