You can do the Soviet Onion achievement as Bukharin’s SSSR. The Right Opposition path gives you a war goal on pretty much all your neighbours (except communist nations) at once. It’s possible to take them all at the same time before they join the Allies and puppet them to form a satellite nation buffer around the SSSR. Communist neighbours (Tannu Tuva etc.) and Japan need to be dealt with separately ofcourse. I think it’s a lot more interesting and challenging than just going down Trotsky’s tree and breaking the Soviet Union down to its component parts via focus.
