@@flatwizards , you must be a kid. If you weren't, you wouldn't be so rude and hateful. I'm 64 and I know lots of people over 30. No one I have ever met has used that word for anything but a guy's first name. I actually have a a real life, as opposed to constantly staring at a phone. Young people today have no social skills because they don't interact in person anymore. You could have been classy about it and taught an older lady a new word. Instead, you were mean. It's so much easier to be hateful when you have a screen to hide behind.

I grew up in south central MA, on the MA CT line, have spent most of my life in Worcester and Windham Counties and have always been a fan of history; so seeing coverage of my stomping grounds is always a treat. I had no idea this memorial existed, much less the story behind it! Just like how I knew nothing about the Bosworth monument, Douglass monument, God's Ten Acres, or Israel Putnam. Your storytelling ability, choice of subject, and comprehensive research have me hooked every time. Living in a region so steeped in history it's always been my normal and after a while I went blind to it to an extent but every upload of yours inspires me to go out and see just what stories I can dig up if I just keep my eyes and mind open. Great work as always!

What’s funny is I was just watching a doc on a monument to some old dead mean ruler. His name was something or another, “Buttholierthanthou The Great”! I have always been interested in why someone had a large headstone. So, like you, I would try to find a story. In many cases I was successful. One in particular was the owner of the Ithaca Gun Company in Ithaca, NY, buried in a cemetery where I once was a board member. I just happened to be there one day when family members came to pay respects so we talked for quite a while. Later on, they sent me family photos and stories about this man.

What a great story of a great man. You deserve high praise too, I highly appreciate the way your conduct yourself both physically and verbally on your videos. The way you relayed the story gave it the respect it deserved. Too many channels nowadays throw in unnecessary details as though they are recalling events first hand. I don't know if it's to add to the word count or drama or maybe it's just a sign of me getting older lol but I'm not a fan.
