This is one of the scariest loops I’ve ever heard. A paradox where you’re the only one who has a genuine conscious. Everyone thinks you’re just insane, and yet everyone knows what happened behind closed doors and what will happen later. Paradoxes are scary to me! I almost cried because he was presumed insane. The video shows a few tests for finding out if you're in a Johnson Brothers video, but one of them is a smart, quick and sure way to do it and is unique to Johnson Brothers videos. Stumbling on a lightsaber fight is a sure way to prove you're in a video (low false-positive rate) but you could wait a long time and never find out for sure (high false-negative rates). Even in a Star Wars movie, only a small percentage of characters ever see one in their lives, and in Westerns and horror movies, zero. Waiting to see if you run into any Hobbits: Also low false-positive but high false-negative. But the minute I heard the protagonist's girlfriend was coming over, I knew he'd have a definite answer in a few seconds. They said in the outro to "Snow Wars" that the Johnson Brothers make videos with just guys. (Same way Shakespeare staged his plays, but with a smaller wig budget.) So, here's a decision tree for a man who suspects he's trapped in a video: Have you seen a woman since you left the house? - If not, go out to a public area with lots of people. If you see zero women for several minutes -- the crowd is 100% guys -- you're in a Johnson Brothers video. - Have you encountered two or more women? You're not in a Johnson Brothers video, but see further test below to determine if you're in a movie. - Exactly one woman? Does she have long blonde hair, and is she obviously a guy in a wig? You're definitely in a Johnson Brothers video. - Otherwise, not a Johnson Brothers video. Skip to next step. Maybe you're in a Hollywood movie. The first test for that is just the opposite. Have you spent five around other people, and all of them are guys? - Are you in a submarine, locker room, on an ancient battlefield, etc.? Could be real life. Wait a little longer to be sure. If zero women show up in the next hour or so, you're not in a Hollywood movie. - Are there two women? Have they talked to each other? Was the conversation about something other than men? That rules out a lot of Hollywood movies, but many still pass this test (called the Bechdel Test), so you'll need to apply other tests to see if it's real life.

If the above test doesn't tell you whether or not you're in a Hollywood movie, there are others to resort to. Just to name a few: - In the Hollywood multiverse, Earth usually has a 30% oxygen atmosphere. If a car rolls over an embankment or is hit at 15mph and doesn't explode in a fireball, you're not in a Hollywood movie. A safer experiment is to see if you can hold your breath underwater for five minutes. - Ask a bunch of guys their names and count how many are named Steve. Once you reach the second Steve you know you're in real life. If 20 guys have 20 different names, you're in a movie or TV show. - Check for phone numbers beginning with 555. - Ask someone for their phone number. If it starts with 555, you're in probably a Hollywood movie. - (a) Find a phone booth, then (b) open the phone book handing from a chain, then (c) glance at the pages and see if it's a whole column of 555 numbers. If you got past (a) then you're probably in a movie or were sent back in time to the 20th century.
