some how a bit laggy and camera keep getting stuck every time i tried to pull to right side which really kill it for me. story so far is also lacking. i like the character design and the fact you can absorb monsters is cool but ya i think i better just stick to starrail and genshin since my laptop can't really run this game.

Calling This "Genshin Killer" is bit dramatic (I've been around since GI Beta) I would say this is competition for GI rather than being its's demise.

There is a fine line between “taking inspiration from” and out and out copying…. I am playing WW it’s fun but. They have used so much from Genshin and HSR…. It’s not even funny nor subtle. Though I am enjoying playing, it would have been great for them to actually come up with ideas of their own. Once I get the map done and reach the “end game”…. I will probs be done. Genshin on the other hand is long term for me. Always love the updates and can not wait for Natlan. Been playing Gen for over 3 years. HSR from day one. Not sure if WW will ever do its own thing or just continue to be copy and paste. Genshin may have used inspiration from BotW in the beginning. But they moved on form that a long time ago….

I was impatiently waiting for the game, but I was surprised that it was literally a copy-paste of genshin and HSR

Some similarities between Genshin and Zelda, that I'm sure if someone would use them in a video, people would say Genshin is a copy 1. The exploration systems are pretty close to botw. Running, climbing, gliding, swimming, hunting feel almost the same. 2. The first Genshin trailer was famous for copying the Botw trailer. Even stuff like camera angles look the same. 3. Hilichurls are basically bokoblins. Most common enemy in game, super similar animations, both throw rocks when you are far from them, use weapons and shields, they group near explosives for some reason and have larger and stronger versions. 4. Both games have giant ancient robots called guardians, whose weak point is their mechanical eye. 5. Treasure hoarders have the Yiga clan defeat animation for some reason, even if they don't look like ninjas at all. 6. Abyss mages are similar to Poes, they come with different elements, they dance and taunt you between attacks, they teleport, they cast a stronger spell if you don't beat them fast. 7. Slimes explode when you defeat them in both games. 8. The weapons available in Genshin are the same as in Zelda, with the only exception being the catalyst, though Zelda has magic sticks and weapons. 9. Claymore charged attack is the same as Botw's 10. Venti's hold E is a nerfed version of Revali's Gale. Even Venti's animation is super close. Both Venti and Revali use bows and are wind themed. 11. Noel's shield is super similar to Daruk's Shield. Both characters are earth themed claymore users too. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole shield mechanic was inspired in Daruk's skill. 12. Barbara's C6 does the same as Mipha's Grace. Both characters are water themed female healers. 13. Lisa's hold E is the same as Urbosa's Fury. Both characters are female thunder users. 14. Eula's E is a spin attack, which is Link's signature move. You can even hold it for a stronger version, like in Zelda. 15. Amber's E acts similar to Link's bombs when you use them on enemies that haven't seen you. They will get distracted by them, approach them and then they will explode. 16. Zhongli's E is similar to Botw cryonis. The main difference being that you need water to create a cryonis pillar. 17. Domains and shrines share the ancient advanced technolgy aesthetics, other parts of the games use them too. 18. Domains and shrines also serve as teleports in their respective games. 19. Part of Xiao's backstory is super close to Link's. There were 4 yakshas and Xiao in the past, all of them died except him; meanwhile in Zelda, there were 4 champions and Link in the past, all of them died except him. 20. Hyrule and Mondstadt have a lot of similarities, including a snowy mountain with a freeze mechanic. 21. When enemies notice you in both games you can see an ! mark above their heads. This is useful in Botw due to its stealth mechanics. However Genshin has nothing like that so I wonder why they still used that mark. 22. Aranaras are Koroks. They even fly using the same idea, and can't be seen by normal people. 23. In both games you collect energy spheres things that give you rewards when you offer them to a statue. 24. There are triforce symbols in Enkanomiya. 25. Aranara's harp is basically the equal of the ocarina in Zelda. You can even freely play melodies on both of them if you know what you are doing. 26. The chasm has this dark sludge thing that slows you down and drains you, you can get rid of it destroying its weak point. In Botw, there's a dark sludge thing that slows you down and drains your health, but you can get rid of it if you destroy its weak point. 27. There's a talking giant plant in the chasm, just like Zelda's giant talking tree. 28. Traditionally, in Zelda your companion does all the talking, just as in Genshin Paimon does. And in at least four Zelda games, the companion is a floathing fairy thing. 29. In both games, the best musical themes are only in trailers and not in-game 30. Tsurumi has the same mist mechanics (you get reseted if you don't follow a certain path) than Lost Forest in BotW. 31. In Botw, if you collect all the Korok seeds in the game they will give you the same reward genshin gives every anniversary. That said, I know Genshin has enough differences with Botw, specially in combat mechanics, but I'm sure WW it's pretty different to Genshin too As a bonus, there are other things they took from other games like Xinqiu's skills, Razor's and Keching's ult come from DMC, Clorinde's E skill comes from Warframe, Xenoblade 2, which is another nintendo open world that was released before genshin, has an elemental reaction system; and there are character designs similar to other things (Sucrose is Pandoria from Xenoblade 2, Amber is a Kizuna Ai recolor, Ayato is Shigure from Fire Emblem; not mentioning how genshin's team copies the Honkai team's homework pretty often)

Same shit happened with Tower of Fantasy (a Genshin Impact wanabee) that is now a dead game. The Biggest problem with (most of) chinese/Korean games is their lack of originality (Gameplay & visual are stunning but originality ZERO , they always copy Japanese or Western game.) Genshin was already a rip off of Zelda but was a success because it was the first real open world coop game that could be played on Mobile !

Playing wuwa was really easy because the controls, map, menu icons are very similar to genshin.

I'm gonna be honest from what I see, the world exploration gameplay is genshin like, the combat is HI3 like except the echoes, and in the wishing system when a 5 star character was about to be reveal the animation before it is the same as star rail, hopefully these are just inspiration tho since they put 3 games into 1 but I have to agree some of the dialogues at the front took heavily inspired from genshin

For those who don't know the guy he compared to gaming was introduced in the game in cbt1 before gaming even released, jian is also similar to Qu from pgr which is a game made also by kuro which released also long before xiao did

Not here to say anyone’s wrong for thinking Wuwa took inspo from GI, just gonna add some clues to help people pin things out (Mostly to show differences between the two games + snippets of what I’ve seen about Punishing Gray Raven, another game made by Kuro) Chixia, similar to amber, are both ranged users given for free in the beginning of the game. This may come off as copying, but in contrast the answer is simple: puzzles. Users need Chixia, a gun user, to do ranged puzzles. Just like how Amber uses her bow to hit an anemo slime in GI ^^ Snother thing about Amber: remember her burst? I bet you don’t because almost nobody uses Amber, atleast for combat anyway. Well, as my knowledge understand, Amber’s burst is almost identical to an ultimate by S Bian, a pgr character. You could say GI took inspo from Kuro since the game Pgr was released near the end of 2019, a couple of months or perhaps a year before genshin’s 1.0 came. Finishing off with Amber comparisons, I just want to say… why the heck are Yangyang and Amber called outriders, if they’re 1/ never on horseback, 2/ on a vehicle. The clear defintion of outrider by google is “a person in a motor behicle or on horseback who goes in front of or besides a behicle as an escort or guard.” Huh? Did you get any of that? Because what I took from it, is that Yangyang and A,ber are not outriders! I mean seriously, have you EVER seen a mountable animal in GI? Much less a horse (which would make sense given the outdated, fantasy setting, but seriously? None?) and for Wuwa, there IS an option to ‘mount’ a vehicle, and by vehicle I mean a badass monster riding a motocycle which you basically transform into) but even then the lore just DOES NOT match up with Yangyang doing that (cus she’s not a badass monster w a motocycle) so yeah. Kudos to Kuro AND GI for making me confused on them being Outriders

Regardless of what people say, Genshin will always be better. The fact that this game had to directly copy from Genshin and they tweaked a couple of things are making people who hate Genshin go gaga. Look, you don’t have to like Genshin, but let’s be a little bit honest with ourselves. Is it really good or are you just copying because Genshin doesn’t have the update that you want?

While I won’t disagree that WW definitely copied some elements of Genshin, the Gaming comparison is unfair. Lingyang actually existed in WW’s old betas before Gaming was even announced (In fact at one point he was a completely different character entirely named Awu), since both games have Chinese inspired areas and characters it’s likely that both of them just happened to come up with similar concepts. Lion dancing isn’t that uncommon, in fact it’s probably one of the most well known aspects of Chinese culture worldwide.
