Yep, the PC and PS5 versions are near-identical, the mobile version is vastly different for obvious reasons. Will have to confirm the clouds though. Glad you play Genshin on the PS5 now though, love your videos. Edit: Now confirmed that the volumetric cloud system is exclusive to the PS5 for now, on PC it's basically fog.
The only major differences that I'm aware of with PC is that the PS5 has higher resolution textures for characters and the volumetric clouds shown in this video. The giant ruin guard detailed grass is the same with PC and PS5.

Hopefully next generation’s iPhone SIXTEEN (16) Pro can get better graphics resolution as well as MetalFX and 120fps proper. iPhone doesn’t work properly at 120fps because of weird power limiting factors.

I play on laptop with high setting. The cloud on the Liyue mountain is exist too. But I think it's more like a thin fog (?) Not so cloudy like this one. I will check the grass in the Sumeru one. Never pay attention the detail too much. But I think it's just green grassy
strong PC can give the same expierience as PS5, or maybe even better, hard to tell cause Genshin is one of the games that doesn't use much power from GPU. It's a shame that gameplay is locked to 60FPS tho, I'm sure it would look amazing with 100+ FPS. also... I'm impressed by how good you are playing with your phone. I don't think I would be able to play like that for Spiral Abyss or Weekly Bosses. I only use Genshin on phone when I'm not home, it's enough to do dailes. But for more advanced content I use PC
There is an fps unlocker though I believe that you can use, but I dunno if it will get you banned on Genshin specifically ( unless it messes with the game files somehow ).

@@JanneAhonen69thing is no one gets banned with FPS unlocker. we've been using it for year. no ban at all. that's a myth already at this point in time.
Many assets are not available on mobile devices compared to PC or PS5 thus mobile devices have small size but that on PC and PS5 require large storage space.
There are more differences than volumetric clouds and fuzzy grass actually. Look at the texture quality of characters. PS5 has high resolution, sharp character textures, while PC, even on the highest settings, has lower resolution and blurrier textures.
not if you run with good GPU in PC and run your game at 4k resolution. enable SMAA or FSR2. also max your render res to 1.5. plus you have more Nvidia tweaks if needed and have sharper details if you wish to. there's so much visual options you can do in PC. but ofcourse it will cost you a good GPU. probably RTX30 series cards or higher to max out everything

if you buy cheap monitor even highest PC cant help you lmao....PC is waaaay expensive than ps5 if you want same good graphics because PC not for gaming it's for everything..besides everything starts from PC...there's no way people create their games and software using PC then somehow it got better graphics on PS5...hahaha dummy
I mean, PS5 is a device with enough power to do crazy smoke renderings like that and most PCs can't do the same. It's all fine... I'm always more impressed by the fact that it is still available on mobile AND has the single account over all platform facilities while looking this good on PC and PS5 . And the transition between PC and Mobile, while noticeable, isn't terrible or anything. It is still cool
I started playing genshin on my laptop but it was sooo glitchy so I switched to my mobile cause it was much better and now I'm finally gonna get a ps5 for my birthday so I'm gonna switch to that and I'll finally have good graphics and get to have japenese voice lines (cause my phone will literally explode if I use jp voice lines rn)

Ive only ever played Genshin on Ps4 and now Ps5. Ive always wondered how ppl play on mobile as the game n story is so large and long. But one bad thing abt playing console is aiming with bow users via controller.
I played on GFN mobile. It has mind blowing highest setting on pc with touch control. But gyroscope didn't go well. I also tried genshin cloud official, it has perfect support. All working, the screen also at native res while at GFN there is very small black bar. Of course GFN cheaper than Genshin Cloud.
I’m defo getting a ps5 this Christmas. 3 years ago, I started playing genshin on the ps4 but my ps4 was basically dying whenever I play. So I switched to laptop and iPad (with ps4 controller), now just and iPhone. I’m a person who likes playing games that are on max graphics, ps5 does the job.
im so jealous that people can play genshin on consoles. I have an xbox and you cant get it on there, you cant even connect a controller to a mobile device. It sucks.
clouds are for reducing drawing distance , and grass you shown exist in pc version , desert trails exist in pc again did you ever played pc genshin at ultra settings ?
Explain why my clouds on PC are identical to PS5? Not so exclusive now is it? I also see people saying that PC has lower res? Mjst be on some seriously low systems cuz mine is running on max settings and sharper then PS5, granted im playing in 8K but thats besides the point
I play genshin on my android and ps5. And i gotta say the graphics on my android are top quality. Almost as good as on the ps5. But i sadly can't record on that graphic level so i most of the time put it on medium graphics so that i can actually record videos on my phone for genshin.
this is probably going to change with 5.0 tho considering what i've heard about the graphics quality improvements etc. tho i don't really understand why they decided that PC would have less good graphics than PS5 especially since my not even super powerful PC is still more powerful than a PS5 even if it's just by a small amount
Actually whatever device can give a consistent smooth 60 Fps to a particular game. You won't need 120FPS. Because they need a lot of frames to push above 60FPS, like close to faking it. I love PS5 but PC would be my future build. It's really expensive on PS.

They developed the mobile and pc versions first and heavily modified the underlying tech for the PS5. In addition to that they reworked the Jueyun-Karst. That's why there are features available for the PS5, which you can't find in other versions. And I don't know wether they also added it to the pc version, because I got no comparison, but for the PS5 version they improved the textures.
You're trying to compare a phone and a console built specifically for gaming, it's like comparing a motorcycle and a car, even if both are high-end, they're built for different purpose. It's obvious that the mobile version has worse graphics, just look at the memory size of the game, it's not even half the PC or the console version. As for the PS5 and PC comparison, there is very little difference. For the clouds in liyue mountains, the PS5 has this sharper "bubbly" shape to them and they are distantly grouped. Meanwhile on PC, the clouds are way denser that ofentimes you couldn't even see the ground, and the shapes are more blurred unlike on the console that are sharper. For the moss effects and sand physics, both PS5 and PC has it, there's literally nothing different. Both are great graphics but I'm guessing the PS5 has different cloud effects from PS4 and PC because the console is released after Genshin is already released, you could say that the PS4 and PC has exactly the same graphics settings, but when the PS5 released they tweaked some things because it's an upgrade from the PS4. What's exclusive from the PS versions, is that when you blow your mic in Paimon menu, Paimon does actually do an animation just like in the video. Aside from that, when you login on the PS, you'll also get the windglider PSN exclusive.
2:44 At first i played genshin impact on my Xbox (using the GeForce now app) and the mobile android version, now i have a ps5 and a PlayStation backbone controller, and I stream the ps5 version to my phone, and it works really nice both on wifi and 5g so i will say that im playing genshin impact on the PlayStation ecosystem Xd By the way the exclusive blowing up ps5 controller feature works on mobile if you stream the game from your ps5 lmao
You do know you compared an iphone which is mobile Even if you compared the mobile with pc youll see that pc had extra details and effects compared to mobile, thats because of optimization Pc and ps5 dont look differ from each other, unless you have a potato pc so youll have to go with lowest as possible or worst
PS5 is really best option for poor people but want to enjoy damn high graphics!...but im even poorer haha need to wait until the price went even lower!

Ps5 is dedicated for gaming, pc is bit similar in that case. Mobile version graphic need to reduce to minimise the game storage. You have remove inorder to ge to work properly. This is why there I storage difference in ps5 and pc and mobile
I feel like an RTX 3080 and above (including the 4080 and 4090) can definitely handle the clouds that are on the PS5 but for some reason Mihoyo/Hoyoverse just decided that it wasn't worth their time optimizing it for high end PCs.
It would be foolish to buy the PS5 for playing Geshin impact XD I liked console-exclusive features. Many people crying the best exclusives are on Xbox (I don't know if that's true) If PlayStation has their own better exclusive games and now Stellar Blade! 😍
fun fact, the cloud details are actually slightly improved in pc version and the fuzzy grass is very visible on pc, the rolling cloud feature is also slightly edited for serenitea pot and certain domains, it's like downgraded version of the ps5 rolling clouds edit: I still don't get why pc players don't have a setting to enable rolling clouds since most high end pcs can surpass the ps5s performance
because sony pay for clouds , sony will pay for pay exclusivity staff and sony also pay for releasing game only on ps , that's why hoyoverse games never will be released on switch and xbox

That's not true. The volumetric clouds are exclusive to PS5. This is not a new thing though. Years back when the PS5 version released, Hoyoverse and Playstation made promo with these PS5 exculusive features, and they are still exclusive.
You definitely did not. This footage is heavily compressed because of RU-vid. The PS5 runs this game as 4K60 and this video is in 1080p. Not to mention some character outfits' texture are in higher resolution on PS5. Don't forget the near-instant load time

depends. if you have good gaming PC then no. but if you have low budget PC then yes. powerful gaming PC can have better visuals and FPS if you wish to.
