Now I realize Kecleon is the worst enemy in pokemon mystery dungeon, they are the best ones, beat one is so hard, but they can multiply themselves so fighting against like 8 must be hell
Don't forget the place they're selling their wares/products. I mean if even we have a hard time going to that places, just imagine how on the earth did they managed to get there first. Plus camping and opening the store there. 😅
I remember the first game when I best it and couldn't stay interested long enough to do all the stuff I found after the main story. I used to run around dungeons and fight them spammjng earthquake and heatwave whenever things didn't work out the way I needed too
@@KeinNiemand People are already working on their own original ROM hacks! I made a short 5-minute one myself; and there's another longer one in the works (10 chapters) that, according to the author, should be completed some time next month c: They're all still using EoS's assets for the most part, but the stories are very different
@@primal8655 I have a full playthrough of my own hack on my channel! As for the other ones, well, I think there will be something nice related to them at the end of the month, so you'll just have to wait until then c:
@@rescuerex7031 even without cheating you can recruit them, you must have a wigglytuff at the max level (100) have his iq that increases the chance that the pokemon join your team (when wigglytuff is the leader of the team of course) and wear a gold mask. With all that you have *only* 0,1 chance of recruiting a kecleon, it's difficult but you can recruit them
I recruited Kecleon the other day, even made a video detailing how to do it. It has 304 HP at level 100 and 255 in all other stats even before level 100.
Jokes on you I have a crap ton of all protect orbs blast seeds revive seeds and doom seeds to throw at you as well as sleep seeds and a crap ton of projectiles to throw at you
No, but once I had "automatically pick up items" on and I accidentally picked something up and got my ass beat when I tried to leave because I didn't realize that I had picked something up
i remember fighting enemies on a kelceon shop and one of the enemies threw an item at me, then kelceon was like " are u ganna pay for that?!" and i didn't want to pay for something an enemy threw, so i got beat up badly
Yep. And at the time I didn't understand what was going on so I basically got my ass beat and from then on out thought the kecleon shops were a trap from which there was no escape and avoided them at all costs.
I stole items from Kecleon countless of times when I played Explorers and the original game when I was younger and got away with it. And this video popped up in my recommended after watching some PMD videos.
@@j.martinez8767 okay when u go to kelcon shop. there are two ways u could pay him. first one is when u pick up the items and then talk to the kelcon to buy something. 2nd one when u pick up the item and leave the shop in the dungeon. he will teleport towards u and talks to u if u want to pay. now if u said no when u leave the shop from the dungeon. he will get angry and call for reinforcements lol.
@@j.martinez8767 In the older games (original and explorers) I used a trawl orb. But when I use the orb I made sure I was right next to the stairs. And then you pick up the items you need before the Kecleon show up so you may need to be quick. Or use orbs like petrify orb or foe-hold orb if you happen to see them nearby. (I would bring those for back up) Another way is to use a pure seed after you get the items from the shop after you refuse the pay. (However this method I recommend not bring any team members along or have them wait near the stairs but you have to be quick) Like I mentioned earlier make sure you have back up items. Oh and I forgot to mention, make sure you have Oran berries and reviver seeds. I also recommend holding an X-ray specs. They help locate the enemies and the Kecleon on the map. Keep in mind I noticed trawl orbs don’t work with items from Kecleon shops anymore (I think when DX came out. I haven’t stolen in the newer games. Gates To Infinity and Super) and I have a link you could use to help get yourself some tips. m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Kecleon_Shop I hope this helps. :)
I mean, explorers of sky was pretty damn close. You get tied up to an executioners block at one point for cryin’ out loud, you can’t really get much more serious for a rated E game.
@@alphastronghold715 What about E10? I mean Shadow the Hedgehog managed to get away casually shooting human beings, so I’m sure PMD could stretch things a bit further (not that I would want it to be edgy).
@@webbowser8834 I feel like the emotional moments are what make the mystery dungeon games memorable, but there are always many main characters that lack depth when you get down to it, as well as a general lack of choice when it comes to plot. The most underrated parts in red/blue rescue team is definitely being run out of town. The fact that other "nice" characters could turn on you showed great depth.
I remember stealing from this dude and using the orb that brings me to the stairs. I made sure the Pokémon left behind were left to die as I escaped. Pog moment right there.
Remember the time we could steal from Kecleon shops using Trawl Orbs to get away with it? This is basically how I now feel when trying to rob Kecleon in Rescue Team DX after realizing that Trawl Orbs no longer take items from shops.......
As soon as I saw the lines "You've been busy, huh?", in the thumbnail, I instantly knew EXACTLY where this was going, cuz I have that monolouge memorized like I read it off the back of my hand.
Ooh boy If you steal from a shop in a dungeon the floor literally gets swarmed by Kecleon. They're incredibly strong and will easily knock you out if you aren't prepared, especially since they travel at twice the speed. Also, if you want to try to recruit them, you need to bring your recruitment odds to the absolute maximum; and even then, you only have a 0.1% chance.
So I got the reference at the exact point where the textbox appears (didn’t even have to read it). Anyone else had the same? It’s like the scene that is referenced is so Iconic, that it trascends certain rules on how people usually react to stuff. Like hearing the first note of highway to hell: t could be many things at that point, but you expect it to be Highway to Hell. Same thing here.
I friggin' loathe Kecleon in Mystery Dungeon. I remember that one time, I was going through the shop in the dungeon; stupid carpet on the ground layout design... There was stuff I wanted, but running out of inventory space, so I was unloading stuff I didn't want, replacing them with stuff I wanted from the shop. I can't recall the details, but I think I was stepping on an occupied tile, that then forced me off the carpet, to which Kecleon was like _"BAWWW! STOP! THIEF!"_ and starting attacking me, NO chance of clearing up the misunderstanding. I said screw it and teleported out, with my stolen (yet somewhat paid for, by trade) goods. Started murdering it on subsequent visits. :| I'm a *good guy...* until _society_ falsely accuses and punishes me, of being otherwise; Then I giv'em hell.
Bulbasaur isn't approaching Kecleon to fight him. He's approaching Kecleon to give the shopkeeper a slight advantage to catch him before he makes it to the stairs, because Bulbasaur is just that confident he can escape.
WOw.... for a second I got confused because when I've stolen from Kecleon this isn't what happened and I thought this was a secret part to the game that only happens if you've stolen a lot of times... then I realised it's probably just fanmade. This is amazing, looks really realistic!!!
I had super mystery dungeon, I had auto pick up on my teammates, and they picked up some stuff in the shop without me realizing, and then the kecleon attacked me and I immediately died of terror. So yes this is accurate
I used to steal from them whenever I had that scarf that let you move through walls on everybody. I'd move through the walls to escape them. Problem solved! Lol
god this is a quality meme i remember accidentally stealing from kecleon when i was a kid while doing a long ass dungeon and i remember being sooo scared bruh he completely obliterated me i was devastated never steal, especially from a cameleon
