Kids with older siblings are usually quicker to speak. Overall, just because a kid isn’t speaking by that age doesn’t mean they aren’t smart …. They can understand just the same minus the part of communicating it in a way adults understand.
Jessa, I think it’s so sweet you call her sis. I’m one of 4 kids, 3 girls and a boy. Our mom called us “sister” growing up. Makes my heart happy to hear it.
Isn’t she the most precious angel ever. I miss that age. Enjoy it. Mine are 27 and 23 now. Still waiting on grandkids but it’s looking like I may just get another dog 🤷♀️😂
This little girl is so smart. A 2 year old that can have a real conversation and comprehend what you are saying is great. I know there are plenty of kids out there and can do the same, but this complement is meant for Ivy and her family! I could sit here and watch her taking us on a day in the life of her (Ivy) videoing and narrating the entire vlog herself LOL.
That is why they say it's so important to talk to your kids. About anything. The more you talk to them and include them in conversation the more they will talk
Awww, Ivy is just adorable, and so polite. This takes me back to when I used to take my daughter Shannon to McDonald's when she was little. She is now 39 years old and likes to take me out to eat. Always cherish the time with your little ones. They grow up so fast. I hope to see your new baby soon Jessa. I hope it's another girl, lol.
She is so precious… My son is going to be two next month and I am just loving this stage… Even the hard parts with the tantrums… I love watching them learn more and more every day!
She's JUST 2 and she talks that much... WOW!! You go, Ivy Jane!! I can't wait to see her with a little brother or sister. I hope it's a girl. Y'alls kids are so different. I'm getting excited for this baby.
I love how you so effortlessly stop any fighting that might start and how they all are so nice to each other. I feel like most kids would have had a full on tantrum not getting a drink like their sister but Henry was just happy to have a sip and move on. How do you get them to share so nicely? Ivy’s at that age where usually they think everything is there’s but not her, she just happily shares all she has with her big brothers. She’s so cute 🥰 Great job with them.
not always true! my nephew is four now and he said his first sentence at 15 months old! His sister is two now and was a super early talker too like him! she is only three days older than Ivy and talks as advanced as her, I have never heard a toddler speak as advanced as my nephew and niece but it is so cool that Ivy does! A lot of times that is the statistic put out there about boys being later talkers but not always true:)
This was such a touching video. Thanks for that. I admire your patience and energy level, especially with how pregnant you are. I give this video a gold star! ⭐
Oh my goodness. What a honey Ivy is. She is so cute for sharing her drink with her "big" brothers and her Daddy. I love the way she talks. Jessa you and Ben are such awesome parents to your kids. I'm really excited for your new baby. GOD BLESSINGS TO YOUR FAMILY.
Thankyou Jessa for being so sweet to share your children with us! I am so happy that you only reveal what is positive and never put anything out there in the negative. When you are able, please share more recipes with us!!
She wanted coffee ☕️ that’s so cute! “Well you do look tired” lol! Ivy Jane is such a beautiful name! She has great names for her children and is a great mom!
I love ivy being a monkey in the car . That really made me laugh ! I admire your patience and kind words . You may not feel like you're doing perfectly sometimes but through your children it shows you're doing a fantastic job ! Thanks for sharing ! That little Ivy always makes me smile !
She talks a ton for just being 2 yr.’s & 2 mo.’s!!! It’s remarkable!!! And a BIG personality!!! She’s a delight!!! I could listen to her and watch those beautiful eyes ALL day!!!
Ivy Jane is such a gorgeous child inside and out. You have beautiful children and so well behaved. You and Ben have done such a wonderful job with your children. They truly love each other. You make them feel so special by giving them their day.with you. Ivy was so sweet to share with her brothers.
Oh now Ivey is just tooooo cute!!💗💗 How has she grown so much?! Just love how you take your kiddos on dates! Ivey just made me smile so much. Jessa, you and Ben have such a beautiful little family. May God watch over you all and bless this new little one on the way!🙏🙏💕💕
Ivy is so adorable. Her vocabulary is amazing. You can definitely see that you and Ben spend a lot of quality time with your kiddos. Excited to see Ivy interact with the new baby. She will have her own Baby Alive. Lol.
That baby is absolutely beautiful, and you are such a wonderful loving mama. Thank you for sharing these sweet moments. It is such a blessing and joy to watch. 💕
@@mistymitchell2790 and usually it’s because they have an underlying condition or their parents don’t talk to them as much or none at all, haven’t met a kid who isn’t either of those 3, other than that a 2 year old as normal as ivy is on the right track developmentally wise
@@mel-rl9ds I feel insulted! 😂 My son only knew 3 words by his 2nd birthday... I heard that babies who are held all the time (my son) are less likely to talk, as they know all of their needs are being met, so they don't feel the need to talk, as they don't have to ask for anything. As soon after he turned 2, he started talking more and more, by the time he was 3 you couldn't get him to quit! The last 2.5 years, I've regretted those times when I wished he would talk. Wish I appreciated the peace and quiet of my non talking baby!!!! If only it had continued... :(
@@mistymitchell2790 Oh, Henry did have some speech problems, I think he wasn't talking as much-- they were comparing him to Spurgeon. Same Parents, Different Kids. Kids learn at their own pace. Can't force a kid to talk or walk or do whatever you want them to do before a certain age. Ben and Jessa are hopefully treating all their kids the same, so they all have the opportunity to talk early if they can/want. ;)
