so relatable... also having a really common name, like Brian (which also sometimes sounds like "bye" or Bri as some call me) so often i hear someone i think is talking to me saying "Brian" and i'd say "hi" then realize they weren't talking to me, now i don't answer and people ARE talking to me, so i just say, "oh couldn't hear you over the monsters in my head" and they generally just back away and leave me alone. 😁
