It's something how this false teacher is basically calling Jesus a white man and was racist against black people, and at the same time other false teachers are calling Jesus a black man who was racist against white people.
Dog might not have been a direct racial slur, (I'd have to talk with someone who knows Hebrew and has the original scripture to confirm or disprove that) but it certainly was used in a degrading way. If race wasn't a motivator for calling the woman and people like her "dogs" then what was? The word "dogs" was even reinforced as referring to a "kind" of people when Jesus distinguished the "children" from the "dogs". On top of all of this, It doesn't even matter if its not a racial slur or even racially motivated, because it's very discriminatory and is analogous with the use of racial slurs because it's just as bad and just as discriminatory to a "kind" of people (whether that be the poor, the disabled, or any other qualifier for being a "kind" of person). Also you can't complain about someone reading deeper into a complicated historical verse when you are doing the same thing, but even more so. Even fully buying into all of the historical contexts you provide, Jesus degrading the woman for worshiping idols (which is an idea you had to assume and force into the story) is still just as wrong even if the word Jesus used wasn't the worst word he could have used. To summarize, I disagree with you and the video you're responding to, I believe the Bible has inconsistencies so I don't believe in trying to make the story mean anything because that always inserts bias. I don't like that you and the person you're responding to have agendas to spread warped views of the gospels. Because I am not a believer I am able to see that every denomination and every individual has some sort of warped view of what the Bible is and what its message is.
Sacrifices of atonement had to be unblemished and pure. If Christ sinned even once, the Cross is powerless and we have no hope of Salvation. I mourn for those who are deceived by this blasphemy.
Because the Bible says so. The whole thing about Jesus is that he was our earthly example as Christians. He literally was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Matthew 5:48 (KJV) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
@@ally9168 So what if the Bible says so? Do you believe that unruly children should be killed? The Bible also says that bats are birds, but they're not. It also says that the moon creates light and that it can only be seen at night. That isn't true. Just because the Bible says it, doesn't make it true
It was just a matter of time before woke pastors started Awkward Moments Children's Bible talking points. Read that book and learn the rebuttals and these guys will blow over like a straw house.
@@throughhumaneyes7648 I feel like that might be directed toward my comment/question...? Just confusing though because I’m not a pastor and I’m not woke. Seems to be a simple enough question that most people who take time to read the book should know.
As one of those Afro-Latino woman of color, thank you Pastor Mike. We do not agree with this, think this, or regurgitate this. You have an excellent way of articulating these points. My mind is still boggled that this kind of manipulation of the Gospel exists. Please pray for these individuals. 🙏🏽
@@mukmowf9402 I disagree. As the lesson was already there. The intention to restore all (Jew and Gentile) was always going to happen. As P. Mike explained, it was the profession of the faith of that women, her acknowledging who Jesus is and was, that was the primary point. Take for example - the Centurion. It was his confession of faith that Jesus healed his servant because the Centurion understood who He was. It wasn’t Jesus necessarily “changing His mind.” But I can see how that conclusion could be made. It’s almost a “yes and no” type of answer to Him changing His mind. But as with most things concerning Jesus in scripture, the meanings always has much depth to them. It was her who recognized that through God we are blessed and those around us are blessed or can benefit also, knowing Jesus is the way to that. Unfortunately, people cannot seem to discern what is meant by “Jew first, then the gentile.” Again, P. Mike explains that perfectly. In fact, to reply is to basically just reiterate what Pastor Mike has already said in this video. Well done P. Mike!

One must keep balance. For those who are called to study the original languages, it's a worthwhile endeavour. Well, he did need to learn things. He needed to learn how to walk, how to talk, how to make a solid joint for a plow, etc. He even needed to learn the Scriptures (remember his parents lost him in Jerusalem, and found him asking questions of the teachers in the Temple). He was/is human, after all. What he DIDN'T need to learn was right and wrong/good and evil. So he never needed to repent, which would indicate that he chose to or accidentally wronged someone (e.g. God). By his divine nature, he always knew what was right, and always chose to do it. I agree, Mathew 10:15 (ESV) "Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgement for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town" Context: this is regards to Jesus sending out his apostles to preach to towns, and Jesus is explaining what it will be like if a town rejects his teachings. This passage is actually one of my all time favorites. It inspires me to humble myself before Jesus for His name’s sake. It compels me to pray for salvation to the Jew and Gentile. The heart of this passage is deeply missional. I was so heartbroken when I saw this guy so openly butcher this passage. Thank you for standing up for truth and bringing clarity to this beautiful passage.
Yes, and by misinterpretation of this, they sever a chord of the much larger narrative running through the Bible. It is so clearly referring to the fact that although Jesus’ message was directed first and foremost to the israelites, He ultimately rewards the faith of anyone willing to hear His message. And of course it foreshadows the Israelites rejection of His message, and the gentiles willingness to hear it.
At 17 years of age I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this. It helps quite a bit with questions I've had myself. Thanks and keep it up!
Remember to assume the good in the Bible... it has helped me. As people of a different age we can easily find malice in the Gospel if we are looking for it, but that was not the intent of the authors. Their intent was to impart wisdom, love, and salvation. So we owe it to the prophets and disciples to read with their intention in mind.
The beauty of Hus explanation is her response to Jesus. She said, even the dogs eat under the master's table. She was agreeing with the word Jesus used and was encouraged by it . We serve a loving, compassionate God who we can run to.
I have to tell you that this scripture has ALWAYS bothered me. the way you explained it was fantastic! You opened my eyes to what has to be the correct understanding. As a Catholic I have discussed this scripture with several priests and never got as clear an explanation. Thank you so much. You have truly removed a stone from my road to Christ.
Love this! I read these verses on the Bible app using the amplified version (AMP) and that backed up his explanation. I find the amplified version helps me to understand tricky verses
Jesus said I came to teach the Jews first? Is that racist? Use a concordance and see original different meanings. It's free online and it clarifies a lot so we can learn on our watch.
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
I'm glad Brandon came out with this video. He exposed himself and now it's time Saints, that we come together to pray and fast for the people listening to these men. These are weeds being planted, trying to take the focus off Christ Jesus our Lord. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@kingeileen2607 it's still so enfuristing to see. They're só desperate to have the bible for their life instead of working the fit the bible. I struggle daily against the flesh and its frustrating me to tears.
The story of this woman is one of my favorite Bible passages. Someone said somewhere that 'The sun that melts the wax, hardens the clay ' If nothing was created without Jesus then He was this woman' creator. So who better to know her than Jesus. I learned a valuable lesson from that woman. Jesus can call me anything He wants because I will know that He is not lying or insulting me. He should know. And my response would be yes LORD please fix me.
You should interview these people.. i fully believe in you as a passionate child of our Creator. You inspire so much through your passion of the text. Not as a title, but you are true brother of the world.
The cross offended me so badly I ended up on my knees. Praise Jesus for his way of getting through to me. Jesus was perfect, is perfect and always will be perfect.
Jesus died on the cross so that we can be forgiven for our sins, so that we can repent and enjoy a relationship with God now and later. The rapture could happen soon.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
She was called a dog because she was not part of the lost of israel and she was a gentile. He was sent for the lost of israel until after his death where he was put as a light for the gentiles. Anybody not part of Gods children are considered dogs ect because it is a metaphor to the way they are.
@@johnakridge2916 - Exactly, I’m like what 🤣🤔 he definitely called her a dog and he definitely was “racist”. He called her a dog because she came to the table begging for help for her daughter (bread crumbs). Jesus literally didn’t want to help her because she wasn’t a child of Israel.
My precious Lord, please for give & also the fact I had to Hear that!!cannot unhear it,on bended knee, please let me praise true words of our God Almighty,Holy of Holies!! This man is blasphemous, I'm sorry,God,Please forgive him & me for hearing it!!!Praise God!❤
@@tpw9099 Yet you folks pretend to speak as God, breaking the 1st Commandment by breaking the 2nd. Dear God - THERE YOU ARE - by your own mouths you expose your hatred of God and His creation. Amen indeed.
@@Tknononesense yeah it's the most ridiculous thing in the story. These people knew that they were being lead by a god out of Egypt and then one day they just decided to screw that god?. And then after the commandment "thou shalt not kill" comes a whole lot of killing. And the Jews that god saved from slavery what does god do? Put them back to slavery. How ironic.
If you believe the Bible, then you'd have to agree with Jesus in Matthew 15:24, that he only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. You'd have to agree with Jesus in Matthew 5:18, "that no jot nor tittle of the (Old Covenant ) Law would pass away until the Old Covenant system, temple and people associated with it (what Jews referred to as "heaven and earth") passed away. You'd have to agree with history, that the Old Covenant system, temple and people associated with it passed away in AD 70. You'd have to agree with Paul, who said in Romans 5:13, "where there is no (Old Covenant) Law, sin is not imputed". This of course means that salvation was only needed by those who had sin imputed to them, which is not us today. You'd also have to agree with Hebrews 9:15, that redemption was only for those who sinned under the first covenant, which again, is not us today. The bitter pill of truth is that nobody has been saved nor redeemed for nearly two thousand years. The "church" has been in a massive error; a complete hijacking of ancient Israel's redemptive narrative. "But...but...I'm a gentile!" Are you? The "gentiles" Paul and the disciples were preaching to were either Greek converts to Judaism, or the elect diaspora, grafted-in descendants of the tribes of Israel who had been dispersed among the nations. Through the ministry of the disciple's great commission, they were called out from the nations to again be a holy nation of kings and priests, to be sealed for the day of redemption, which only they lived to see. Nobody today is a gentile of that sort. Today's self-appointed, self-deluded, so-called "christians" have been brainwashed to believe they're sinners under a law that passed away, and need a savior who said he came for someone else, who will save them from a sin that's already been removed, and a judgement that already happened, and allow them into a covenant that was made with someone else. The fact is, we today were never and are not part of ancient Israel's redemptive narrative. ~Michael Bradley
@@susanwangerman1232 I've created nothing, and certainly, nothing new. The Bible is, has been and always will be the story of Yahweh's fulfilled plan of redemption given exclusively to ancient Israelites cursed with the Old Covenant Law of sin and death and pertains to no one alive today.
I have to listen to your Brandan Robertson videos in 10-15 minute chunks to give my brain time to recuperate from all the insane garbage that Brandan can somehow spit out in such a short time...
Me too, me too! I cant take a lot because it makes me so angry and I don't want to feel that way towards other human beings but I am disgusted by this backwards self indulgent way of everything nowadays. Ugh. Jesus is SINLESS!

Oh! I'm not the only one! I'm so mad at the blasphemous men for telling lies about Jesus that I'm crying! I don't cry! I prayed for their salvation, but i had to ask the Lord for help with my anger and hurt first.
I'm finding it very difficult as well, I always turn the volume down, even skipped through the video as I've seen it before. Really need to make sure that I do pray for him and don't let myself fill with anger.
Never felt that. So funny how all these people experimence these things yet a PK in a HOLINESS home and not once felt Spiritual realm and armor.....JUST torn....down no Spiritual warefare..
The LORD ponders who is truly wicked and righteous. Remember, today good is put for evil and evil for good, and if none have done evil to you personally, don't call them wicked because of rumors about them of being so. Instead, let that rumor die in you.
This is blasphemy if I’ve ever seen it. Jesus used and alternate form of the word “dog” which refers to a dog or animal as a pet. The woman wasn’t Jewish so she was an outsider. Jesus used the pet form of “dog” to let the woman know that even though she didn’t fit into the Israelite crowd she still had a place with her Master!
It's a dangerous world out there for Christians looking for sound teaching and sound doctrine. Thank you Pastor Mike for all of your efforts to clarify the truth, your videos especially your Mark series have been huge in my walk. Praise God and God Bless you!
@@ryanlaflamme4412 Tell me if a document speaks of slavery, and records that the people did enslave others, how is this endorsing slavery? Especially when it includes laws that say for example If you buy a man you must LET HIM GO FREE on the start of his six year of service. and if you do any permeant damage to him such as knock out so much as a single tooth, He WILL GO FREE at once. (I don't know about you but having lost two teeth as a child, I don't consider that a lot of damage) and if you killed the slave you your self will be put to death, for murder, as murdering calls for the blood of the murdering man. The slave was treated as a man, not a thing in the LAW of God. The only way to bind a slave to his master for life was IF THE SLAVE LOVED his master and requester to have his ear lob ceremony nailed to the door post of the house by an awl, now my question is how many slaves do you think did that, given he could go free, not many I would guess. would you?
@@Delgen1951 it refers to the slave as "PROPERTY". Yes there are the rules about the tooth and eye but you are allowed to beat them as long as they dont die within a few days. "Slaves obey your masters even the cruel ones". So yes this "holy book" allows you to own another person as property. This is moral to you? As for the 6 year rule, that only is true for Hebrew slaves. They would become slaves forever if you gave them a wife within the six years and when there six years were up he would go free but the wife and any kids they might have would remain the slave masters. So the slave could go free but they would have to leave their wife and possible children behind. Explain to me how this is moral?
Mike, seriously, I don’t know how you can watch people like this. It’s just painful…thank you for the work that you are doing to shine the light on this darkness.
This is SICKENING!!! That these “preachers” so blatantly twist the scripture and Jesus’ words. Why are so many blind to this. So so sad! May they have a real encounter with Christ and be saved before they leave this earth.
Well,it's hard for us to understand bc were not part of the world, they have a vail over their eyes,we can't lift it,sad what their doing not only speaking against our gracious father but it could cause someone to stumble and make the world think bad,JESUS said it would be like this, exactly like this Their being led by deceiving spirits All the wolves are out so many false teachers
