They could only pass the 1st segment, if they had any timekeepind devices with tham that wasn't thier phone "A man who does not know the time is lost in it" he said Segment 2: If the potential subordinate had a watch/pocketwatch (because it's so much fancier than a handwatch), my father said he likes it and he'd like to take a closer look. If the potential subordinate handed thier watch to my father to inspect, they were disqualified. They were only qualified if, with or without any reason, they refused. "Your personal belongings tell a lot about you. Do NOT let anyone too close to imposrtant belongings of yours'" he said (though this sentence makes a lot more sense on my mothertongue) Segment 3: If they refused my fathers' request, he asked if he may at least know what the time is.
