I can say that really one of part that is better to have. Settle down next to village, get them protected and have nice day. But I just put fences around buildings and just light up to have no zombies spawn there. Is just cheaper than building couple of iron golems.

Best option: Build a big fence 1 block tall, help them spawn a bunch of natural iron golems, now they can stay safe and be free in their village.

I filled in the jagged terrain and roads, i built cute cobblestone oak houses in the same style as the villagers, i created job stations and a thriving economy, and it felt good.

My first Minecraft world (which wasn't cracked) is called Sethogan. I still play on it. Long ago I moved to a village that was pretty near spawn, and I named all the villagers with the Nametags I managed to fish out. 700~ in-game days, and the last surviving "original" Villager is Kain the Cleric. I still feel bad for all the Raids I caused.

Every time since I play Minecraft, I always nice with them by applied their job (with mostly is librarian), rebuild the road, expand the village and expand the security with torch, scout the area at night or building the wall (expired method).

Ive never been one to metagame in minecraft so i tend to treat villagers pretty well and if i really wanted good trades id probably just keep expanding their village into a large city like community. Idk how practical that really is but it would be very cool to build.

one of my favourite play styles is helping Villagers like I am making and ruling a kingdom. -Fix the village landscape. -Build walls for protection. -build a castle to live in. -Build new homes to grow the population. -build colonies in new places or take other villages under my wing. takes a long time but feels very rewarding.

Meanwhile me: Always treats them well regardless. Especially helps that protecting them means getting free protection from Iron Golems. If you help build defenses and expand the job pool, you'll get more villagers as well as more Iron Golems. And that in turn means you're much safer and more well-defended.

I imprison them and force them to do what I want but don't worry, after their great depression is over-I will create a luxurious empire with them around my castle which will stretch to the sky's so I could see the destruction I had done.
