At the risk of sounding naff, I live in Cambridge at the minute and during the winter months, this is where I like to park to walk to town. It's such a calm, beautiful place just by the backs of Kings College. Just beautiful, crisp. A magical place, especially in the snow. How fitting for your wonderful playlist to have this as the image. :)

I love Cambridge. I was born here and lived here as a child. Never bright enough to go to university, but 2 of my daughters came here. One went to Queens' which is next to King's. Her boyfriend went to King's. And the other daughter has just graduated from Downing. So beautiful seeing the students process through Cambridge streets to the Senate house for their graduation ceremony, which is all in Latin. Magical times and a magical place.

I did my undergraduate degree at Cambridge - they were the best years of my life. I used to walk this exact route to lectures.

I don’t have anyone in my life right now, and somehow I just seem to have lost all the ones I’ve ever loved . This music reminds me how precious to love and to be loved . And it really is almost comforting.

This music is so perfect for cold days by the fireplace. Winter is my favorite season! Has been since I was 40 years old. Having grown up in Florida, was born in Miami, I moved to the North when I was 40, I live on a crystal clear lake in Indiana and really do not Ike Summers here though they are mild to hot and gorgeous. I’ll take a snowy Winter or a colorful Autumn any day of the week. I hope when my time comes it is on a snowy day after Christmas.

I love the winter more than any season I appreciate that some people suffer from S.A.D but I can't help but feel so fresh and cosy and at peace out in the snow particularly when it's deep and the snow is falling gently it's a whole other more awesome and masculine sort of feeling when the snow's deep and the snow's falling fast and heavy where I'm just like "FUCK YEAAAH SURVIVE THE WINTER BROTHERS" and also the things you can make with snow and cold weather in general like cloudy dragon breath or frozen puddles outside at breaktime at school turning the whole area into an ice skating rink for everyone and when it snows how you can make snowmen and have snowball fights and go sledding down the hills and making Igloos with your homies if it's deep enough and the wintertime is just generally beautiful in general too, from just a common dusting of frost on everything and frozen water making icicles and turning rivers to solid ground (which still fascinates me) to heavy snow turning everything to a cold pale white making everything look pure and clean

Oh I miss the snow! Living on the West Coast of Canada, and really need to move back to the gorgeous province of Alberta, with its SUNshine, its majestic mountains, golden prairies and its vast drifts of crystal white, crisp and cutting SNOW. I'll take sub zero temperatures any day over this bone chilling damp cold - this grey, dark, dreary RAIN that plague this area in winter. THIS is a particularly lovely scene though, full of colourful History and classic British beauty.
