Blitz, get to chopping those trees! You bought both upgrades for it afterall. Mortar towers just aren't needed in the late game. As the comments say, focus up on 3-4 tower types and keep to just that. Mana regen is the majority of your goal as those towers will just be mana drainers anyways.

One of these days, blitz will realize that taking so many different towers just dilutes the upgrade pool and spreads his resources even thinner.

Particle cannons do the best against shields. You need a combo of attackers, one for shields one for armor and one for health. In all of your attack areas.

21:40 taking the first level of damage upgrade for a tower unlocks the DOT damage upgrade! when you took the +1 Health damage for the frost tower, it unlocked the vampiric snow card for it to do bleed damage!

Adding mines/health will increase your death tax income as it is a % of the tower health that gets taxed. A bit of an investment but would certainly leave you more money for later on.

Fun fact: The neuro receptors (or whatever the name is) for hot and cold are different ones, which means that in theory you could feel like burning and freezing at the same time (btw not sure if it’s neuro receptors or another one) An example of this is fever, which you feel hot and cold at the same time

I've said it before and I'll say it again: creeping cough is the most powerful upgrade in the game. You can easily get it pretty early on, have a few poison towers near the ends of the paths and have every single enemy moving with maximum slowness throughout the entire map. It's so good I literally don't even unlock the Frost Keep because all it does is dilute your upgrade pool.

Blitz I think this is probably the luckiest path I've ever seen anyone get in this game lol.

A level 50 obelisk between the old path 2 tiles from tower and that new path that ended up there would be a huge help. Since its near spawn it would train it to insane levels and since its near the tower it could finish all struggler. Also its a good idea to specialize towers and to level it up to lv10 immediately after placing. Level ups do a lot especially if a tower is specialized. Also targeting most health is not a good idea since those enemies might still have armor and shield. Its better to target least shield then least armor and then most health.

Suggestion. Blitz when there is a Split you want to control and defend at the split to not spread your forces too thin. So you wont lose

The Life Steal upgrades are some of the best. You're getting whatever % of your total mana constantly because mobs are constantly dying. I saw you skip it multiple times and was not surprised when your game ended because you had no mana. I love this game and I'm so excited that you've been playing it!!

Ah, you're starting to see the value in these high tier upgrades. See, you dont need 1 of every tower when they all eventually get every type of damage. You're getting better, just need to stay focused on ~3 tower types! You got this!

Blitz WE need to take this slow. You need towers that hits shields to be in the first line, it does not help to make a cluster of kinds of damage in the same places in they don't do damage. Damage first Shield -> Amour -> Health So no shredders are needed before after the shields are down. Focus on mana more, as you use more and more and keep running dry. ALWAYS get the university if there is a spot, as it makes your tower better for free. Some towers are better in a line than a circle attack range. You want your sprayers, shredders and flame towers to damage down a line, as they will hit more. If they turn with a enemy they only damage a few at the time. Your circles and multiply ways into range are frost, vampire and Tesla. As they hit all enemies inside, so the more areas that can have a enemy on it the better the DoT will be. Don't build bow and mortar towers late game, they are not worth it. You got both upgrades for the trees, so chop chop. More upgrades are more good.

Encampment and balista. Literally, all you need. At least for single defense. Buy mines and haunted houses, place baliatas next to regular houses and upgrade the encampments as much as possible. Can go the spicy route and give ballistas poison and burning, which can also slow.

you should try out mortars, they don't cost mana which is the thing that usually kills you when you run out, they do aoe and your entire defence can be that one tower spammed all across the map. "either you use mortars or you use mana and constanty keep track of it"

lifehack: have about 10 universitys, with every damage type levelled up to 10. The university increases the damage to health, armor and shields of ALL of your towers.... And when you level up towers, remeber the damage type they're good at. Poison Sprayer and Teslas are good for shields, Obelisks, Flame throwers and mortars for armor and shredders for health... Just a few examples

Blitz you need consider getting university since it upgrade all towers when it complete a research allowing them to do more damage to type that was research.

Each tower naturally has it's "best use", i.e. HP- Shredder Armor - mortars, flame thrower Shields- tesla coil, poison sprayer Your Obelisk is burning thru all your mana. It works best on single units further back towards your main tower. Push your AoE units further forward, i.e. tesla, flame, poison to strip off shields and armor and let your Obelisk chew them up after that

Blitz not paying attention to mana. "How'd they get through!?"

A good idea would be working on card synergy. Examples would be when going for sorcerer with the intention of going deep into it, it would be good to go mana bank and savings accounts so you get almost 3 mana per bank. Same idea for haunted houses (going for cards that boost health and hoping for spaces w mines).

For a while I was trying to do a single-path run that was ONLY a single Obelisk (death ray) tower, just pumping everything- every upgrade, every coin- into it and mana generation. It works better than you'd think if you get a good path.

Great run! Tbh, I have never had good luck with the encampments. They don’t do enough damage- even upgraded. Literally any other tower is more worth it.

You hit a major mana deficit there at the end. adding that many Obelisks will do that

Pathways only end in the last couple rounds before the BIG OOGIE (level 45) at the end (depending on how many paths you have open) or if there is no other way for the path to go (ie hits a deadens) You need to focus on a couple (2-4) towers and grabbing cards to unlock there upgrade trees to get the better cards. If you want to focus on AoE damage you should try to get the enemies to be more bunched up to use less mana, and if you wanna focus on single target tdamage the enemies should be more spread out to allow time. You'll get there eventually! You got this!

Fewer damage types upgraded all the way are better than every damage type upgraded halfway...

Blitz, you should put frost towers a bit in front of the other towers, especially Flame and Poison, as the enemies can advance significantly before the slowing effect starts and enemies are slowed even after leaving the frost tower.

its better to focus on 1 or 2 main dps towers like the obelisk/ballista and particle cannon(for shields) and focus on getting all the upgrade cards for it to max it out also spam frost towers everywhere whenever you have enough money is a good strat with some damage over time towers mixed in

multiple heavily upgraded shredders are the way to go

if you do a 2 tower type such as balista and shredder, you can focus really khard on just there upgrades and ballistas can be really op with ther max upgrades, like when each one uses mana to increase damage

At 50 stacking frost towers with the stun upgrade makes the game easy if your going a full dot build. I do like to add in mortars to slap on houses to add damage do half armor and half shields to spread damage type with them... and look for a + damage for all 3 types to add the dot to what they hit as well... they level up on their own decently fast with their range. The saw if you max how much bleed they apply and the max bleed dps its almost all you need for health. Obelisk can finiah things off for health by throwing levels on it behind your final shield and armor line... getting the cannonball is only worth it when you have good lines as it doesnt matter what type they are it destroys everything. But you rarely get a good map for them.

so towers gain xp for the specific dmg they impact on, so a flamer turret can gain shield because its place far forward and thats the bars its hitting, which you can boost that specific dmg type even if the flame is meant to destroy armor, but i would shy away from increasing the hp strength on things far forward because they will never get thru to that bar.

Always keep an eye on the darn mana! Also, upgrading mana using towers also slowly starts increasing their mana cost as well. I swear, most of your losses are due to too much mana usage from what I have seen of you playing this game so far.

You should try sticking to one advanced tower and spamming the crap out of it. I beat the game using just mortars, flamethrowers, and ballistas because they were the only towers I'd unlocked. Mortars can have their AOE increased, supply bleed, fire, and poison, AND have a large attack radius making anywhere they can hit into a killzone (at least when you put them as high as possible).

I feel like we should give some appreciation to blitz. He reads all the comments and actually listens, even when we are kinda mean.

I think in the later levels he always loses because he can't see that he has no mana even tho he usually sitting on 5k moneys XD

Mana went pretty low at the end there. So obelisks couldn’t keep up.

wasn't it that those enemies had high armor and you went all in on shield?

In that last round, your mana was low most of the round. It could be the reason you lost.

Range is the best upgrade. Dont skip it. Also getting the tree chopper upgrade is useless if you cut down no trees.
