DxD was unrealistic in one way for me, there is no way in human biology that someone can be that fucking horny, man gets stabbed by a demon, his major concern is not death, but the fact he never touched a woman, after becoming a servant to a devil, his concern, was that he might, might get to have a Haram, tho, he does stick to his morals I'll give him that

Both anime with chillin in the title are basically that, even if the MC is OP, they both don't want to fight, they just want to have a peaceful life with their loved ones. I already watch the one in his 30s and I liked it and I'm liking this one also.

I admit when it is the case but for Chillin' it was actually seeing a clip of Flio go all out because Fenrys was injured by the djinn peaked my interest. Along with hearing Fenrys is active in keeping this from being a harem anime which was kinda refreshing to witness. That said yea Fenrys antics is defiantly carrying the series for me.

I hadn't seen that (or any other) clip prior to starting the series. I started solely based on the description. It was when I reached that part, however, that I really fell in love with the series.

Yep. What I like about this anime is that it just doesn't focus completely on the MC and his girl, it focuses on other couples as well. Even the "Hero" and his girlfriend are entertaining for the short bits they get.

The opening for this show was the biggest reason why I kept watching. Her dance was so damn adorable that I could not hit the skip button like I usually do for most series after seeing it a couple of times. It easily became one of my favorites and added to my OP playlist. If they are smart then I hope they stick with the same idea for season 2.

You skipped Flio casting Purification over the entire forest and wiping out an entire Demon army, commanded by Fenris' brother. Fenris is okay with that because survival of the strongest is a Lupine instinct. That's why Fenris first submits to Flio; he's STRONG. Alpha male of his pack.

There have been MANY times where I started or continued an anime because I thought one or more of the girls were hot. An example from this season is God’s Game. I’m a sucker for red heads and that first episode really sealed the deal.

Im watched this anime only of because of 'Fenrys Service', but im also some vibe from The Rise of the Shield Hero, for how Flio got treated in the new world, same as Naofumi, and the blond hero knight , same thing with Motoyasu But, it was hillarius that the golden knight did not even have a name at all

@8:49 That’s because you haven’t gotten to see the scene that determines what that drive will be for him yet… I’m pretty sure what they’re doing is the long con of setting expectations of him just be “Stereotypical OP MC” for quite a few/handful of episodes before the divine moment (anyone who has read the manga or watch any manga recap videos of the story should know what I am not-so-subtlety talking about) occurs that sets-up what in particular will drive Flio and be something he will have to defend against and in my opinion will make his OP powers not seem so OP anymore (that is if the anime does a faithfully good job of adapting that particular scene/plot-point and not “drop the ball” when they do try to attempt to adapt it).

Also chose it based on Henry's, and both my wife and I are enamored with her. We were worried that it would turn into another harem, but Flio's dedication to Rys is so endearing and genuine. A power couple of happiness. Definitely going to try to nab the first figure they make of Rys.

Rys is a sweetie. They did a great job in the art department even when she became his mount towards the end of the season when they went to defend the small villages. I do hope Ballyrosa winds up with the demon king oh what fun!!

Lv2 is an excellent anime, not because of the tame fan service, but because the protagonist has an ethos that may save the world he came to. And not by violence but by fostering understanding and acceptance. Sure, he's OP as all Hell, but his real super power is refusing to demonize, well, the Demons!

But yes, when this anime startet it gave me the feeling that they made this anime with combining different things from 2 other anime i watched and like, (that being: Chillin’ in my late 30s after getting fired from the demon king’s army & The Rising of the Shield Hero) Chillin’ in my late 30s after getting fired from the demon king’s army: Busty Beautiful Female MC, Developing Love, Marriage, Kids, Demons, Magic The Rising of the Shield Hero: Summoned Hero, Being banished in an unknown world, trash king, other hero acting high and mighty but is weak, the young princess who asks the banished hero for forgiveness, an non-human who always stands beside the male mc side at all time, makes friends & companions, magic and fighting

As a manga reader, I really like one thing they eventually do. It's not a huge reveal or anything but spoiler warning for the rationale around the war between the humans and demons. The spoiler comes from Chapter 17 of the manga. Last spoiler warning. Okay. So, demons and humans *can't* live together long term. Demons leak a magical miasma that harms humans, meaning that coexistence is not *actually* possible except at arms length. Which is just a brilliant bit of foundational context that explains why a war started in the first place. Higher level demons that can control their magic can keep this from happening but still, it's an actual non-hatred based reason why humans would actually run demons out of town if they lived together.

The hilarious part of Banaza being unable to go home is because they were ignoring him for three days because they were too busy partying to celebrate the 'actual' hero. Apparently parallel worlds shift in their proximity ro each other and if theyd tried to send him back inmediately it would likely have worked.

Honestly, you dont need stakes and drive all the time. This anime is about the chillin part, as the title states. it wholesome, no harem, (never had a problem with them) and such like that. I demand a 2nd season too.

Think you kind of missed the point of this anime. Yes, the MC is way OP. But he never wants to use his powers and doesn't want to kill. Unlike others were MC just kills everything by looking at it. IMO it's refreshing in this isekai OP genre. And makes this anime great. Also Fenrys 👍

Biggest difference between the 2 "Chilling" anime is that this one focuses a lot more on the couples antics and their expansion of the pack. In my 30's is more about the MC.
