Some colors that are good to get are Dark blue, red, Pink, Dark Purple-basically dark colors, since they make your teeth look whiter. Don’t get yellow, white, or dark green. It makes your teeth look yellow and dark green looks like spinach stuck in your teeth, but, light green looks pretty good! (I have light green bands right now). @@iamdenaya Also, getting braces is not that bad. They put some stuff on your teeth to prepare it for the brackets. Then, I think they put on the brackets, put in the wires, and put in your color rubber bands. It’s so simple and doesn’t hurt. The only part that kind of hurts is when they are putting in the wires/rubber bands. Make sure that you apply lots of lip balm/chapstick on your lips since the things they put in your mouth to keep your mouth open can hurt and tear your lips. Eat all the stuff you can’t eat with braces as you will most likely randomly crave it with braces on.
As the daughter of a dentist and someone who has went to the dentist over 20 times I can confirm this is true and the doctor expects you to answer like “aha” “mhm” “n-n”

for real my conversation with my dentist be like "So how was your day?" "I- wa oay" (translation: it was okay) "That good how have your braces been treating you?" "I- ma-eh I- Har-er o ruh" (translation: It makes it harder to brush sometimes) "yeah they are like that" "How is school going?" "I- hoo" (Its good)

I guess my dentist is cool cause she asks me questions when she’s preparing and when I don’t need stuff in my mouth, and if a question gets asked i’ve learnt (from other times rather then the dentist obviously) to use sounds as answers✨

Lmao this is so true. Now whenever I visit the dentist and he does this I just answer with slight nodes or shakes of my head. And weird sounds that are supposed to sound like "Yes" or "No" 😆

They expect you to make ahahs and uh uhs with your mouth open I guess. I used to have these two ladies working on my teeth and they were so sweet and always were cracking little jokes every once and a while to keep the tension down. Sadly the place we're I get my teeth done had to be moved farther away and I never saw them again.

I remember having this situation with my dentist once...he was checking my molars and suddenly my salivary glands went all bonkers and shooted a stream of saliva on the face of the poor dentist...His assistant laughed for a straight 10 min 🤧no need to say it was embarrassing 😭😭😭
My old dentist was exactly like that omg 😂 meanwhile I was trying my best to prevent my soul to leave my body (because it's my phobia) My most recent dentist is nicer, she asks the questions before I have to open my mouth, and during the process she only asks if I'm ok or if it hurts (and lucky me, she doesn't hurts me that much). Plus she compliments me on my make up and nail polish, so a bonus point for her 😂
@@crypto1122 Nah because the last time I did that the doctor cut the inside of my mouth. He cut my tongue and it hurt. Then they closed my mouth so my mouth is mad dry.
Just so you guys know (if you don’t already), dentists do this because they want to comfort you. Many people have a fear of dentists, so dentists talk to their patients/customers to put their mind in a happier, more friendly place. In my own experience, I remember being nervous whenever I had to visit dentists, but the conversations they held with me usually served as helpful counsel. They’ll usually ask you yes-and-no questions, like “do you live around here”, where you can just nod or mumble to respond. They’re not necessarily looking for a response, just wanted to let everyone know :)
My dentist would be asking me questions about how my life is going while he adjust my braces wire. Well im freaking scared imagining the wires coming loose and scratching my gums.
