i mean, he did go undefeated for like a decade, 11 tittle defenses, 16 ufc win streak and did win a couple fights in other weight class i would say that his style was very effective and it did work

Anderson actually wanted to retire before this fight, he wasn’t as motivated anymore. Dana personally bought him a Bentley to keep him from retiring, and to sign a ridiculously long contract. IMO Anderson is the most skilled fighter ever, his toolbag is bigger than anyone we’ve ever seen. He had finishes that can’t and won’t be duplicated for decades.
This guy is better then gsp, kabob, and Jones. He's got better striking then all 3 of em, better bjj then all 3 of em, longest reigning champ, more bonuses in ufc then all 3 of them.
