@@Rimmic they're more often called studio, engineers because... Well, that's what they do. Studio engineers can be wrapped up as sound, mixing and mastering, and overall beat maker. Engineer can cover all of those terms in music. It's rare to find ONE who can do literally all of it (as well as better priced, even if they know their worth) but for most people and certainly labels it's better to have one for each different type of thing. No one gets too stressed out, and those charges come out of their artists pay checks eventually.
