Comp isn't a chore, there are no substantial rewards, the reward of it should just be the experience. So, get some friends, and sweat with them and have a good time dunking your balls on the enemy.

It's a trainer where you can customize enemy movements. Once you are in it, pick a hero you want to aim practice with, then shoot the start training text to go into the trainer. I recommend practicing on all different trainer settings, and you can change them by pressing your interact button (the one you use for Symm teleporters). This will help you get used to how certain characters move and how to aim at them. And to change heroes in it, hold reload. If you aim train as a supplement before actually playing each session, the mix of practice in a controlled environment and practice in real game will start to make a big difference in your mechanics. My routine is 25-50 kills (depending on how I'm feeling) On Cass, Soldier, Tracer, Sojourn, and Ashe. Sometimes other heroes if I want to practice their aiming. As for actually learning the knowledge side of the game, positioning, how abilities and ults work and interact, how to make the right choices, there's a lot of content on RU-vid to help with that. Spilo has advanced information, Emongg does a more casual watching people's games and sometimes giving advice, KarQ has a lot of videos of tips and testing myths. Covers balance changes and updates too, he also has plenty of information overall as well as a lot of support gameplay. If you just play the game, and try to be aware of yourself and your own mistakes, think about why you did or try to figure out why things played out the way they did, and also try and implement a few tips at a time from high level players, you'll slowly start to get a hang of things.

It has some use. Can try practicing aim with the stationary and moving targets then move onto bots training then quick play. After that could try comp once you feel confident enough.

@@STORYTXLLXR ramattra against mauga is a big no no. Yes, you'll block his dmg, but he'll go for your team. Want to peel? He will melt you. Want to exchange kills by going for his backline? Yea he'll peel and shred you.

hes a big no no if trying to go for his backline yeah, otherwise just play around shield and just like every other shield he cant do shit but go for your own back line which is when he gets blasted.
