@Love, Angel well as a guy I don't believe in female friends for one I gravitate towards women that I have some sort of attraction to and if it's not going anywhere I lose interest, some don't mind waiting for a potential chance, to me it's a waste of time and leaves a door open for her to cheat on her significant other which isn't right
I would disagree. I'm a male best friend to two females at the moment. I don't think its a red flag. Do I find them attractive? Yes. Would I try something? No. I've known both since they were young. Back when i was a young lad, I was not even thinking about whether i'm attracted to them or not. The thing is, their current boyfriends know that I was there first and there needs to be some respect established, as they will always choose me(who they've known for decades), over the guy they met a few months back, and I make sure they understand that and show me the respect I deserve.
@Asdasty I personally could care less myself as well as alot of men I know or, strangers that ive heard speak on this subject agree with me, you may be the rare exception but unfortunately that doesn't speak for the majority, I have a couple of ladies that I'd consider friends and if they ever ended up in a relationship I'd respectfully kinda fade away or at least put some distance in, being a realist most men that deal with a lady in their adult life have some form of interest in her beyond friendship, could be that he thinks she's attractive, he wants some 🐱, or waiting for a gap to shoot his shot, or many other reasons that would give a boyfriend or husband concern if their significant other had male friends. Even some of those nice friends like you maybe not you specifically but if given a opportunity to or offered anything from that female friend would not turn her down.
