My greyhounds were so, so lucky to live with me on a farm. They were never on a lead and ran for miles and mìles every day. They still made this noise whenever they knew we about to go out for HOURS. I adore greyhounds. They are underestimated. 🐕🐾💕

I realize now my 3year old Greyhound is very well mannered. she calmly looks at the door and looks at me as if to say I need to go out. Now, if my other girls are outside barking Willow may get a bit excited but not all the time. I have trained my girls to sit and wait until I open the door. I have a Golden retriever 16 months and a 6 month old Anatolian Pyrenees puppy.

We know that sound well! With our George it's generally accompanied by the walking around in small circles, always anti-clockwise. Grayhounds are about the kindest, gentlest, friendliest dogs around. We wouldn't be without him for a moment. (Not my avatar, that is Murphy who was a Greyhound/Border Collie cross and was the ultimate family carer).

I've owned German Shepherds all my life but I love Greyhounds, I used to go Mile High and watch them race. It's a tragedy that those in racing wouldn't clean up their act. Greyhounds are the Thoroughbred of the dog world, they have been bred for racing for hundreds of years. This is the only other breed of dog that I would want to own.
