I don’t know why so many people keep their horses lonely, it must be expensive but they are social animals it must be miserable. Look how happy these are 💖
Reminds me of when I sold my Arabian. His bestie/grazing partner was going crazy and wreaking havoc on anything in sight. Would not let anyone near without bucking like a wild boy. I ended up caving and asked the guy purchasing my Arabian if he had pasture space for them both. He just wouldn't stop crying at night, winnying non stop. Turn out the guy had about 500 acres free, and he took his partner in a heartbeat. Definitely hard to let my babies go, but they were a true pair. Horse love is very strong. Sidenote: both these horses had racing pasts, the fresians dad was a very decorated horse. Lots of first-page trophies. I ended up giving him to the guy for free. End of a badass lineage of racers, but he gets to live out the rest of his years in peace no one trying to buy him train him or breed him :)
My friends have an English longhorn bull who they hire out to period dramas. He is absolutely huge and when he needs to see the Vet, she comes to him. His companion is a small donkey and a while back the donkey needed to visit the Vet, so she was taken out of the gate to a trailer. The bull just walked through the fence as if it didn't exist - his friend was going nowhere without him. So the Vet has to visit for both of them. True love.
He said "Where have you been? Are you ok? Let me see... let me SEE?? Ok you seem to be ok. Don't leave me ever again." And the little one is just silent while he gets told off. So cute.
We can't explain that their buddy will be back in a week. All they know is that their friend is gone. This always breaks my heart and is wonderful to see when they are reunited.
Horses r herd animals & can't stand being alone. It breaks my heart when I see a single horse living alone n a pen or pasture 🥺 A little burro or goat is better than nothing. Happy to c these 2 have each other ☺️
Companionship even from another species is better than no companion at all. I don't want to downplay how special burrow and goats are in their own right.
@@brendajones7301 Of course 🙏☺️ I mentioned those cuz I fully understand the significant financial commitment of owning 2 horses compared to just 1 horse. A burro or goat is much cheaper to feed n comparison 👍
OH TINA! Be still my beating heart! This - ladies and gentlemen - is why you MUST have a companion pony/donkey if you only have one horse at your place! That's some serious bromancing going on there Tina. Banksy and the lil' un - I can never remember his name because you call him something different than what it says on his stable door! Who looks after him when Banksy's away? Are you going to let young Sam break him in - if so when? Looking forward to seeing him in the 'Shetland Grand National' @ Badminton - asap! Horses show so much love . I'd think I had died and gone to heaven if I had a horse . I have 5 acres fully fenced in . I have 4 Shelties and 1 COLLIE PUP AT 9 MONTHS.
I cannot believe what it would be like to actually be there when this horse runs up to the little horse that would be like the happiest day anyone could ever experience in their life I was so happy I started crying so cute!
That pony is so short that his legs barely reach the ground. The horse is gorgeous. The reunion is sweet. Horses are herd animals. They need each other.

I don't know a lot about horses. Never had a connection with them accept to admire their size and muscles. Did enjoy watching them in movies and TV shows. Watched Secretariat race as much as poss. In his last race my family listened in the car and pulled off the road, turned radio up and danced around cheering hin on like we'd been with him all the time. Was sad when he retired. Seen many beautiful ones and this one Is handsome seeing him for the first time. Multicolor mane is beautiful, strong neck and face. I'll look to see more of him. He's expressive and pretty to see.
