I still manage to make it look way too hard. I really like the Werewolf, it's just a shame those base stats are so weak.. But when the challenge is to kill 5 people in a single transformation you can't help but have a good time. Ultimately weapons might be the way to go.. So I move on to the Thief, which is fun for a while but I find myself in a lot more danger than I should. What's the point of pickpocketing someone if you can just kill them for their stuff anyways. After that it's Gorilla time. Very high stats and just smash things, it couldn't be better. Once you have a weapon like a sledge hammer no one really stands a chance. The zombies even stop by to assist me in a level by killing everyone for me. Streets Of Rogue gameplay with my commentary as always!

Hold space bar to see info on everyone. It also now tells you if you've pickpocketed someone of all their items already.

@@KainYusanagi Yeah broken windows were a problem early on. Now you can move through them at -15 HP. And even destroy them with a melee of 4 + a sledge hammer. The window is destroyed by explosions, even if the wall is tough. You can lob a grenade through a window, have it bounce back off something to destroy the window. But I think just throwing it near the outside is more accurate.

Mac Omegaly You don’t need to throw throwables and hope they land where you want, they land on where the cursor was when you threw them, with a limited range shown by a red square

I was talking about the odd physics when bouncing grenades off a wall or two to a resting point near the window I tossed it through, thus blowing it up and gaining access to the building. Yes you can throw it to where ever the cursor is pointed. But every now and then trick throws are just too good to pass up. Since the data for where a thrown item will rest after a bounce is not shown, and is just a guess. My favorite trick shot is with a rock thrown at an explosive barrel or sensor. Since the power of the explosion accelerates the rock to damage speeds, you need to throw the rock near the side of the barrel away from you and into your enemy. (This dosn't deal much damage, but is fun to pull off.)

The Werewolf and the Gorilla both have lunging attacks that do extra damage, and the Werewolf's is nice for moving around quickly as well.

Handy tip: when there's a laser you suspect is tied to high explosives, drop an item, step back, and punch the item towards the laser. A) you can do that and B) it triggers all lasers without you yourself having to be there. Any item will do, but I usually use rocks or needles or other useless crap.

You can just throw the rock instead of punching it. Also if it is red it will explode and if it’s yellow it will set off an alarm and blue sets off an alarm if you have a weapon on you.

If you aren't detected for a misson or don't kill anyone you get a lot of bonus exp! Also mutators are your friend if you want to get through the game more easily. The bartender is also an easy character to playthrough the game through a more pacifistic approach.

OK so werewolves are actually really good because the special attack changes to a very powerful lunge attack. Spam that instead of the normal punch.

You can use the scroll wheel to change item, and right click on werewolf is dash attack.

btw. you can rightclick as a werewolf to use your special lunge ability, it's like upgraded gorilla ability, you can only use it while transformed but you can cause some real mayhem with it

Shapeshifter, Vampire and Zombie are fun to play imo. And you can climb through broken windows with 'E'. Cost's a bit of health though.

if u play X-box... B is quick health, scientist + freeze gun + shrink ray + inf ammo = GOD (freeze then shrink then step on ur enemies) Y is map and u can tp on it If fridge is bright its full and holds food. loot for food

if you play the robot know this: quite a few disasters wont be a threat, they might even help! (zombies ignore the robot, and the ooze doesnt even hurt it) and longer status effects is just a direct upgrade.

I played this game because of you and I now have at least 100 hours in it Get some skill by playimg and you'll realize how friggen easy it all is, and you'll start rampaging against people with battle-axes with nothing but your bare hands.

I highly recommend plugging in a controller. But even if you don't, there are a few tricks you might want to check out. 1. Holding the pick up item button for a bit displays info about your surroundings. So you don't have to put your curser over a NPC to see if they are neutral, hostile, aligned. And when random status effects are changing every 10 seconds, that is very useful to know. 2. Holding the map button, when not inside a building, and not under attack will teleport you to one of your next destinations. This is mainly for speed runs, but to unlock one of options this info is critical.

my custom creation is a lot like the assassin, but the added bonus of healing 10hp every kill :D (And its still within the non-overpowered limits) thats how I cruised through the game. Near infinite steal and assassinations... sadly I gotta pay the coppers off every level :(

You should play risk of rain (the first game). It’s right up your alley with the potential to grind and break your computer with ultimate power. They have a second one but it’s 3D and I’ve yet to figure out if it’s exploitable.

The hacker was the first character I beat the game with, and the 2nd one who's big quest I finished. Super ability hacker is so much fun, and the fastest way to unlock the robot character class. The zombie is my favorite class to play. (Although Zombie was nurfed 3 times across development of the game. I loved being able to hit corpses for more HP, it was like simulated eating the corpse. And other raised zombies being able to hold guns was just too OP. Lol)

If money is what you're looking for, unlock the hacker class and you can increase odds of winning on the slot machines. Look out for the silent hacking perk, because then nobody can detect if you're doing it. Playing as the shopkeeper is good for money too, since every floor you get a bonus class quest to sell a specific item at an increased price with your mobile selling machine. So you can sell things at an increased price and continue to rack up gold. Shopkeeper is also really good with guns and starts with the shotgun so that helps. You can use all the money you get to buy more ammo from the ammo machines. Sorry, that was long and unnecessary.
