Remember, it's not a scar at that point. It's an open wound that's still healing. That's why along was so scared, in his eyes, a human shouldn't be capable of surviving after receiving such a wound, let alone fight. If I remember correctly, arlong directly asks zoro "how are you still alive?"
@@krater_No.8 yeah, I doubt that arlong can identify swords based on wounds they left. That just doesn't make sense. Maybe a swordsman could, not some rando like arlong
Im watching at the point of alabasta and he straight up heals usopp but when he has a chance to heal zoro he doesnt and zoros keeled over with 3 cuts across him i was so confused why didnt chopper help him when he had the chance now this man fighting without any wraps 😭 usopp gets hit in the head by nami and he runs to him like thats really hurting more than zoro is 😭🪦
@@kazakhjojo nah man, Zoro did all he did while being fatally wounded. He would have handled Arlong sooner than Luffy did. Zoro was always lost. Or injured for big fights but I do belive until enel, Zoro was the stronger of the two. It makes sense too, cus Zoro trains 24/7 his massive jumps in power can always be explained by his constant training.
Nah my theory is that Arlong wasn’t scared of him but instead surprised and scared of humans because until this point he only believed that Fishmen were far superior to humans but when he saw Zoro’s scar he realized that humans can surpass Fishmen and go beyond their basic limits. He wasn’t scared of Zoro cause he beat the shit out of him, he was scared because he witnessed something that went against his long-standing belief.
He was scared lmao and why would we say he’s scared of the scar if he was stronger than zoro? He was only stronger than zoro due to how the scar affected him physically
And he def didn’t think that because I’m sure he knew joy boy and Roger and whitebeard etc so I don’t think he thought fish were superior more so stronger than any normal pirate crew
Wdym the reason it makes no sense is cs keizaru if you saw his story one shot him didn't even try so he has seen more power than this. So no,I believe he maybe was scared of him not completely but pretty much a lot more than normal
Tbh mihawk appeared in the baratie just to nerf zoro fr Why did people steal my comment like it is my comment I am not just some random asshole saying something for people to steal it
I don't think it was fear, but rather shock that he had such a horrific injury, not to mention still being able to fight with it. Being scared of him wouldn't make much sense since he wasn't even capable of moving at that point.
@@Shawarma101nuh uh arlong didnt even get to the grandline, also i dont think fraudhawk would Hunt anyone but the golden haki user himself, don W krieg and the invincible pearl sama
Yo bro all I want to say is your videos are awesome I love them and keep up the good work bro you give me one piece facts that I forgot about it crazy😅
He wasn't scared. He was surprised and shocked that anyone, let alone a human, was still able to run around and fight like zoro was with a fresh wound like that
Actually wht change zoro was not being there when luffys brother died (Ace) If u look it up it affected him more then the whole crew mihawk told him he’s brother died right in he’s face.
And they literally skipped zoro and sanji's Solo fights in the live action. It would have made zoro's character so much more badass. I still think that if zoro was at his 100% at time of Arlong Park he would have defeated arlong by himself instead of luffy doing it
I mean you don't get the nickname the demon of the east blue for no reason he had such a cool fucking name, not to mention he was also nicknamed the pirate hunter, and now king of hell? His epithet are always so fucking cool
I think that if Zoro hadn’t gotten to injured, he also would’ve been capable of defeating Arlong. That’s not to say that he was stronger than Luffy at this point. I don’t think Zoro has ever been outright stronger than Luffy, but back then they were still firmly in the same weight class.
there are guides that place whiskey peak zoro and luffy in the same tier of strength and durability and speed. meaning for a time they WERE equals. this is luffy after several limit breaking fights too, so one could argue in the east blue zoro WAS the uncontested strongest pirate present.
@@MXALOVE Zoro has the most endurance in the whole crew. He took Luffy's pain, The same amount of pain that made Luffy unconscious. But he was still standing after taking all of that. Not mention he also recurved the damage of the reckless thing's Luffy does with body. Since he is rubber human, It's really normal for him and he said it many times throughout the series it doesn't hurt him at all. Taking advantage of his rubber ability, He plays with his organs like it's nothing cause he doesn't feels that pain. But in Zoro's case he got his internal organs destroyed in that scene where he took a small portion of the pain. You can literally see that, it looked like there was some sort of beast in his body that was trying to break out. He still survived. That's how much he can endure.
Idk man gear 5 is fucking monstrous like dude can make attacks that aren't supposed to hurt....hurt a lot like it's probably the most op shit in one piece.
Tbh if mihawk didn’t show up to humble Zoro I feel like Zoro would have beaten all the arlong pirates including arlong with mid-high diff maybe extreme but still it’s scary how strong Zoro would have been if not for his scar
See with only a few exceptions zoro with no handy cap could beat the guy luffy if fighting so oda has to injure him and people really say zoro vs sanji is close but it’s not zoro just blocked a double yonko attack broke all the bones in his body and won sanji was born with enhanced genetics and barely beast the weak of the opponents
Remember the guy from arabasta mister no 1 i dont know his name but he was in crocodile army he cut zoro so much like sooo much but still got defeated by him Btw his skin was like metal
My name is Yoshikage Kira My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.😮
Do you know what would be funny if zoro went back in time and fought him with his strength now oh arlong would laugh for 2 seconds then he will see the light
Jesus died and rose if you believe he died and rose you will go to heaven trust in christ not your works but dont use God's grace as a liecence to sin.
If they did 10 episodes instead of 8, I think the east blue saga would have been completed. This Arlong - Zoro scene, Zoro getting the cursed sword scene, Luffy's execution scene and the legendary 'entering the grandline in the rain' scene would have been there.
Zoro was stronger than Luffy pretimeskip till about Alabasta i dont care. Zoro literally learned Haki in Alabasta before Luffy. Granted he has a Sensei who explained it but still. "Breath of All Things" btw. He also lifted a building😂. Luffy couldve lifted a bigger building, but Zoro was no joke PTS.
To me, that's still the nastiest looking wound in One Piece that's been shown, with the stitches improperly put together, it felt like it would open up with little to no effort.
Not just that… He was unknown at the time, so arlong knew he just started his journey while pretty much everyone else in the east blue had been there for years
Season 1 one piece zoro was the only member of the strawhats that had an actual reputation, and he was so overpowered early on that Oda nerfed him by having him get a near mortal wound challenging an endgame level boss when still in the tutorial area of the world
Apart from right after the 2 year saga...zoro barely spent anytime at all healthy. He is always healing from some major injury. The first was from mihawk, carrying that injury while fighting Arlong and friends, Daz and Enel, who was the opposite of Luffy, carrying swords that attracted lightning beams. When Mihawk's slash is more or less forgotten, he took all the damage from a dying Luffy, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENED. After timeskip, he was healthy for awhile, finally showing what he can do when healthy, easily dicing Pika..only for him to tank the majority of the damage for the brief period Kaido and Big Mom teamed up, before the alliance managed to separate them. He still proceeded to beat Kaido's top man, King.
It was a damn shame that Matt decided to cut that. But, then again, he ìs a Sanji fan.. cut out Hatchan's fight as well, ànd young Zoro's "I will be even greater! I will become the world's best swordsman! So great that my name will reach the heavens!" Sanji had very little cut, every important bit was there. Only the bow was changed. Because that's an Asian etiquette thing. He even won an arguement against Zoro "at least I don't need 3 swords to prove I'm a man", that is sùch a Sanji fanboy thing to say. But you can actually tell that Matt favours Sanji and, presumably like most Sanji fans, doesn't like Zoro that much. Hence why many of Zoro's epic moments were cut an instead replaced with this Mr 7 fight... Though, they could option to keep some backstory hidden and use it in season 2; but then again, so can they with Sanji.. I just hope that this won't become a recurring thing for Matt and that he can keep his personal and professional opinions seperate. I mean... Imagine if he cut "nothing happened" and replaces that with, idk, Ryuma stuff? But keeps Sanji's "I needed a light anyway" Wonder if they'll keep his candle pose scene for season 2.. 🤷♂️
While I absolutely enjoyed the live action, missing scenes like this is why LA-OP is just entrylevel. So many crucial meaningful details missing. And I will repeat it again and again, everywhere I can. They should have done "the Gandalf" with Arlong, cause he looks in no way intimidating, nor does his reputation actually come of as serious. (Plus "Size matters", atleast in One Piece xD)
Up until luffy got gear 2, I think it’s safe to say that Zoro was the strongest crew member, and most seasoned fighter. Luffy beating croc & Enel was completely a matchup based feat. Any non logia user, zoro would’ve cooked them
When the winter winds blew, in an age long ago. And the Yuletide season brought darkness and snow… They role to the Gift Giver, Poles and Aquarian. From the icy wasteland, came Santa! The Barbarian!
Theory: It was mihawks conquerors haki or It was mihawks black blades special feature that made arlong shit his pants. Remember arlong was sweating like crap so it maybe was mihawk's conquerors haki forshadowing
