For me what’s most terrifying about pictures or “spaces” like this, is I feel like I’ve been there before or have a memory associated with it. But my brain will never be able to pinpoint what that exact memory even is…

For some reason in a way the images themselves are so comforting. Yes, they emit fear from people because of the solitude as it seems it should be a place full of people, and it emits the fear of being utterly alone. But in a way, it’s just so comforting. The thought of being somewhere just for you to explore, and the images remind you of childhood, because when we were children everything was a blur. I love liminal images.

I don’t know how I ended up here I was just walking, enjoying the trees as the wind whistled through the leaves, creating a soft, organic static that tickled my eardrums. The leaves softly crunching beneath my shoes. Then, I was here. I don’t know what’s about this place But it feels like home. A home where I could stay A home where I could never leave A home that I couldn’t leave A home that I wouldn’t leave A home where I was always welcome. The first photo gives me chills. I had a friend (somewhat still do) who I went to a trampoline park with and they had this UV light mini golf course and me and her had so much fun playing in that. Just messing around and being… kids.. fuck growing up, dude…

liminal spaces are comforting. Like an ancient ruin of past human presence but in the backyard of history. Sometimes being alone can be nice. Sometimes.

This reminds me of my mall I used to go to and it had a glow in the dark/dark light/neon mini gold on the bottom floor by the stairs like this... that mall is sadly getting turned into a huuuge parking lot and everyone sadly went out of business in so sad (but the moa was only like 20ish minutes away from it sooooo)

This playlist is super soothing, I heavily enjoy playing it while I'm sitting on my roof watching the stars :] helps me relax every time it makes me feel separated from the world in a good way. A comforting soothing way btw fallen down is actually by toby fox for those of you that want to listen to the original [potato-g just slowed made a slowed down version]

Looks like a mini-golf course in the pic. Reminded me of the times my friends and I went to places like this in highschool. Lot simpler times. Though who's to say my life can't be also simple now? It's good to be reminiscent but the future doesn't have to be painful. Still, I can't help but think back to those memories and it's good to cherish them.

short backrooms POV : you have been wandering trough these levels for who knows how long now, you dont remember the last time you have seen the real sky, the last time you have seen a real flower, last time you heard a human voice it was of an entity, of a skincrawler's. while this place makes you to be constantly scared you stop for a second. the place reminds you of ur childhood, how you were running around inside a playground with a friend. you sit down grazing at the old carpet, you close ur eyes and fall asleep, a voice wakes you up, you quickly get up panicking only to see another human after all these years....they are familiar, you take a closer look to them and you see.. your childhood friend once again.

This Is great right now im having trouble with Family and tests and school this Playlist helped me study and after a fight with my parents this helped me calm down❤ great Playlist ❤ Love you all remember you are precious and worthy 💗

2:25: is my favorite! Its so calming and nice that it makes me want to go into liminal spaces even more! I love the Backrooms not just because i love horror and entitys, its also because It feels like you're in a place that is peaceful and comforting. The music makes it feel like there are no entities, no fears, no surviving, no arguing, no anxiety, no pressure, no responsibilities for hard things, and no running. Just resting, taking a break, and remembering nostalgic memories.. The images are so comforting too! It also feels like you're finally made it home and it's the end of your journey..

You know what's funny? That image looks almost exactly like a real place I've been to. In Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, there's an indoor mini-putt place that looks so simular to that. Except the dividing walls, and a bunch of decorations are missing, and I think the flooring is different. It's pretty cool, it's all fantasy themed and it's glow in the dark.

I know this is completely different from music, but the title just reminded me that the term "liminal spaces" was ruined because of backrooms. I was out with my friend when I first found out about liminal spaces and was like "yo, you wana go hunt liminal spaces tomorrw?" and he didn´t know what it was. after explaining to him what it was, he still didn´t get it. only when I said "its basically rooms/places that look like the backrooms" he understood what it meant

A dream I had listening to this. People are made anonamous so yeh. Environment was liminal, mostly in part due to me staying at a resort with nothing open. I was attending achool at a mall of some kind. [The floors were tiled, hallways had large circular center that branched of into other halls, there were no skylights in the halls just neon lights, although some classrooms had windows outside, (the weather was clear/low cloudy skys, although fairly unoticible due to most of the building being dimly lit with neon lights and the occational led) Every center hall had claw machines and other arcade stuff in and around them.] After lunch I went to English 12, forgeting that I had replaced the class for Robotics. After getting to the Robotics room I realized it was actually Biology Study as the Robotics room was moved, I didn't even get my stuff from English 12, so I had to go back. I met up with my classmates in the hall aswell as Mrs. Teacher and Mr. Teacher. Mrs. Teacher was collecting donations for the 10th annual Dirt Festival in the town park on the 31st. Mrs. Teacher stopped to help me get my stuff from the English 12 room. On the way she told me how the people at my table struggled a little bit in group activities due to me not being there. When I entered the English 12 room everone was on the ground praying, or they had dissapered and their clothes were all that were left, idk I didnt stick around I got my stuff and started following Mrs. Teacher. For some reason my left leg was longer than my right, so I wobbled everwhere. When we got back to the donations cart I pondered donating my plastic Pumkin chasing a rolling pumkin toy but decided against it. The students helping with the donation collection wanted to go into the library to get to Mrs. Teachers class but the water wall was up. Because He had a storm coat on, its his usual fasion, he slid under the wall, not getting wet. Mrs. Librarian did not like that and chased him into the library, Mrs. Teacher begrudgingly followed. [The library looked like a mall stall with a water gate instead of metal, the door to the library presumably had a lock]

I swear 100% I had a dream of that room before.

this is the most creative comment ive seen a lot of people recently talking about liminal spaces that doesnt make sense, for example. somebody thought the bedroom wasn't full with people but instead of taking it on they stupidly woke up and go down the stairs until someone knocks on the door. that moment was where he instead drink cofee and wait for the sun to go up (he woke up at 4am) and this music plays. that music was ambitious it gives him motivation to just sit straight through the sky watching the whole night as long as it goes. feels like hallucination but it doesnt, after the song ends he goes to sleep and later wake up 1 seconds later knowing that he didnt do his homework, then it was all a dream. he had fever dream.

Nothing like coming across an abandoned indoor Put-Put Mini Golf, where did everybody go? This is a strange mall, the lights are still on in most stores, but no one is around, occasionally you hear shuffling, a door closing or something being dropped and even distant footsteps but there is not a soul around.....

the beauty of this is so relaxing, if i need a place to study, i will choose the backrooms then go to level 94 where no one can distract you, level 94 is what i want a place where so peaceful and beautiful even in the game it makes me fell asleep, it's peaceful and perfect place to live forever, I'm gonna be honest, the best way to escape for corrupted world is in the backrooms, and if you feel alone and sad go to backrooms, you have friends there who will hug you and give you a gift, they always play tag and hide and seek with you, they have carnival, poolroom and most of all the place i want to stay, in level 94.

If you can learn to be alone, the whole damn universe can be in your hands.
