When I was 45 I decided to buy a place. I picked an end unit townhouse with bedrooms on the first floor, upstairs loft which I don't really use. My snow and lawn are taken care of. So no stairs and yard work but I grow flowers and tomatoes on my patio. Now that I'm 75 .....that was good planning.

I wouldn't move. Prices are inflated and insurance rates are high. You would lose your homestead rebate on taxes. Property insurance could be a lot more. Why not teach Sean to cut the grass and do some yardwork? That would be good exercise and give him a sense of accomplishment. He might calm down more instead of sitting in front of a computer all day. You could also offer free fruit and flowers in exchange for tending the gardens and fruit trees. Even if you have to pay full price for yard work, it is probably a lot easier than moving. My neighbors are elderly and saw they could get four times what they paid for their house and were sick of cutting grass. Now they are in a garden apartment and the woman can't wait to find another small house. Apartment living is super stressful. There is no privacy, and if you have bad neighbors, you have bad people in your life that you can't get rid of. On a whim they can kick you out or jack up rents.

You need to find a good gardener that can do the lawn. Also, I was reading that honey is really not nonvegan. We need bees and bees are going to make honey whether out in the wild or in boxes. Raw honey is the way to go though. Buy the Friskies soup. My cat is a tuna only cat. She likes shreds and then won’t eat it so we switch to pate but we put some soup on it.

Hey girls long time no message... watch you guys everyday as always... You both sound like me can't get rid of this cough...ughhh I have the same problem I wanna move kinda... the up keep stinks but I like my house and neighbors... they always help me with snow and lawn... they were over yesterday and loveeeeeeeee them for it... I went out and visited with them and said if you could start my mower i would like to mow need the exercise but they would not hear of it... such lovely people and bless them..I do have a hard one to give up my house ... being a single mom for all this time I worked hard to have what I have and to give it up hurts... .people say not to sell ... yes you can make money on the house but where would you go and that is so true the cost and taxes are awful... connie said town house and i though of that but i hate to be so close to someone you would have to get an end one... you have to think of Bowie he likes to bark and with people so close that wouldn't be fair for him... Have you thought of having Sean help Marc ... my sister has her 4 kids that are like Seanie and her husband keeps them busy with helping outside they hated it at first but Steve kept up with them and now they kinda like it... planting the veggies and flowers... they turn on the music and spend the day outside instead of infront of the computer... just a thought you know Seanie and what he can do and can't but it might be worth a try ... tell him its not HIKING lol....Hint Hint you do have a son in law lol he lives in an apartment maybe he would like to come over and help... for payment they could use the pool ... If you didn’t remove the honeycomb but sealed up the hole, they will smell the honey and try to find it. If it’s sealed up well they will poke around and then leave.
