This Fifa was one of the best ever for career mode. Gameplay was amazing the graphics were amazing for the time. Legendary game. Shame the games now are shite 😅
Not gonna lie I was thinking this but I recently tried playing fifa 14 and the gameplay is utterly crap, dribbling is totally ineffective and you can't outrun defenders once you're in behind, first touches are apaling and through balls/aerial passes are a complete lottery - not to mention reactions, you can almost never shoot first time even at an open goal, and if you try to direct a pass while running for a loose ball, you run in that direction instead - modern day fifa is actually a lot better gameplay wise, at least besides a few exceptions like 20 - I never played 23 or 24 but at some point on fifa 22 I remember the game being fairly balanced in that keepers could save shots, balls in behind weren't 'meta', crosses could work, long shots were decent, but not lethal, and set pieces had a fairly realistic conversation rate - fifa 14 was more balanced than some of the new ones but the gameplay was excruciating and incredibly sluggish
