LaMelo has had the same confidence and swagger since he was 14 playing with his older brothers. On top of that he grew to 6’7 which only helped his game.
*12 cause that's when he started playing top notch 17 under AAU with his brothers. There's footage of him on You tube being the smallest player on court and chucking up shots.
The thing about Lamelo is that technically he is a prodigy but people(twitter meme pages) don’t wanna give these young guys credit anymore. He’s taller than some small forwards out there but has incredible skill. Melo , Zion , Paolo , Cade , Chet , Jalen Green etc all were 15/16 getting hype.. good to see them living up to it despite the hate.
Not so much as hate, but they want to keep the spotlight on Lebron. They know these young cats got a motor, but they want keep them back so they won't outshine Lebron. That's why I'll be glad when he's gone, so these new players can get all of the props like he does.
@@AlldatJazz-rw9wyLBJ is not a league favorite otherwise hed hv way more rings if the league favored him & this is why he goes to other teams..casuals always follow the bs narratives. GSW is the team who always reload to stop LBJ..case in point..look how easy they got KD.. To stop LBJ.
@@drk.i.a.2969 if he wasn't a league favorite his face wouldn't be popping up on every sports show. The only reason it seems like to you, is because you a fan of his. This has nothing to do with casuals, and could y'all find another word, it's being used too much. If he wasn't a favorite, he would get the press he does, even when Denver won it was about him. Don't try to tell people what they are seeing with their own eyes. You have your understanding, and we have ours.
If it wasn't for all that Lavar Ball thing and everything that surrounded. That's the reason why it takes people so much to truly warm to him and what he is really doing. It means he have to show exceptionally more than normal.

No one can stop Lamelo. He´s one of the most entertaining players in the league, most fun to watch, future MVP candidate, he just needs to be in a winning team.
Said literally no super star ever. Super stars MAKE THE TEAM GOOD. The fact that his team sucks mean that he sucks. This is basic math. How did you miss the memo. LOL.
Yeah that Eric Collins. The MVP for the past few years for announcers lol. What's good is that he gets hype for the other team also but not as much as the hornets. He recognizes game no matter the team.
Right before LaMelo started going off, I can so vividly remember someone making a short video on him calling him washed because of his performance in the beginning of the season. And I'm pretty sure they were using lowlights from previous seasons to further prove their point. I wonder if LaMelo saw that shit and decided to t-up 😭 I don't know who posted that video, but it was probably a.m. hoops cuz that mf only post negative content
This is it..hes shinning b/c Terry roxier, is out, he's a ball hog& wants it to be his team..so its gonna be management that will decide how far they go. MIKE was holding him back to, now that he's out as top decision maker he has a chance to be the player like, trey, Brunson, & no Maxey.
I personally wanted him and Zion on the Hornwts when the rumors started about the Pels wanting to trade Williamson. That would have been the most exciting team in the league to watch.
His midrange game are all floaters and that stuck with him from being small and always playing with the bigger kids, but He needs to develop a midrange jumper in order to get to the next level!
last year was tough to see him hurt most of the season, them hornets games were lookin boring.I’m glad he’s back and putting on a show weather it’s a W/L.
@@yfpitwnadia yeah but curry is literally the best off ball player to ever play, combine that with melo playmaking it’s gg. leagues lucky the warriors missed on their pick otherwise warriors might’ve won 2 chips.
As of right now, the Hornets are 5-9 (12th in the East). Yes, Melo has been balling out, but is it contributing to anything. Maybe he's just not surrounded by the right guys
Miles bridges is back 3 games ago. He is just unfortunate his teammates are always injured. Terry just strain his groin and missed 6 games already this season. He just need a complete roster bud
@@GOATVVV Let's be realistic, a full healthy Hornets roster even w/ Melo balling out isn't a playoff contendor. Don't get me wrong, LaMelo is great, but can he make his team great? Idk
@@mackman88 And? I wasn't denying that he was putting up good numbers. I even said it's because he's not surrounded by the right guys. I just think that his stats aren't contributing to much. Take, Charlotte's loss to the Knicks as an example. Melo dropped 32 pts on 7 reb, but they still lost by 22. The statline looks pretty, but the Hornets as a whole don't
@hamada4361 Soo..... without Melo they would have lost by 50 so I still don't get your point? Put Prime LeBron on this team and they still ain't winning. So is it LeBron fault?
