For me, shinys have been on a specific rotation in different areas. In this video, when the mega water amikin shows, then there is usually 1 amikin that follows for the next few map resets. I have also have had 2 shinys appear on the same map before resetting. Most of the time, it usually takes 3-4 map resets before one will show up and you have to run all around the entire map and then it is usually back to back. I have gotten shinys in all maps ranging from S to D rankings.
Its actually from SS to D. Also, you missed a dice haha. Anyways, quick tip to make sure your swimander doesn't kill its targets is taking it back then throwing the dice. You can bring it out again after a successful catch. That could save you from being hit multiple times which conserves your gear durability.
Yes there is SS! Haven't seen one myself but good shout. I know what you mean by recalling your Amikin before their next attack, I think it's me being lazy and hopeful haha.
