Hey Allie, your tears were so sweet. You have such a tender heart! ❤️ Your gratitude is so heartwarming and Trent (Mr. Fixit) returns your tenderness! He’s a keeper! 😇
Oh my God to funny... Trent is like a little boy telling that story of the tires. He was so excited. You guys are like the people that witness something and they are telling the news ..🤣
I'd like to think many of us shared the same emotion, leaving Ushuaia. It's been quite a journey to the bottom of the world. Thanks for taking us along. Now, looking forward to what Argentina has to show us. Be safe.
When you said you have had the motorcycle for over a year. That took me by surprise. Since I have been following you long before this trip started. You have seen a lot, done a lot and enjoyed life to the fullest. Think back to the days when you were lucky to get a couple of thousand views. Now thirty thousand plus views are the norm for each video. You started as amateur Videootographers and now your videos are at a professional level. I admire everything the two of you have accomplished in the last sixteen months. I still want to meet you two and Frank in person, the next time our paths cross in Sale Lake. Safe Travels... PS congratulations on recently reaching over three hundred Patons.
Ralph... thank you so much. This really made me sit and think back to where we came from and how far we’ve come. It’s seriously amazing to me. Thanks for being with us each step of the way. You rock 😎
I just got back from a trip and now quarantine for 14 days (suggested by Canada border and public health). Thank you for sharing your beautiful Patagonia adventure! Looking forward for the rest. Be careful!
Thank you for sharing the gratitude, emotion, joy, and love. What a blessed relief from all that is happening and the constant buzz currently. Such a sweet interlude. Love you guys.
Your probably in the safest place on earth. Keep your hands clean, load up on food. Make sure your spiritual life is in order, we love you and God bless your trip
Damnit, I'm getting me a Trent😂. Way to go on the water solution😄. What beautiful places you two have been. As I've said several times, thank you so much for bringing me along on this journey.
Destinations are just places that can be explored, the magical moments happen whilst traversing between them. You have set your goals and attained them, now you have the opportunity to map out new ones. New experiences that will provide a multitude of golden nuggets for the treasure chest of memories.
Aw you’re back missed you, genius idea for filling your water tank Trent, aw Allie looked a bit emotional just then you can see the love you have for one another and it’s beautiful, can’t believe I’ve been married 47 years this year and my parents didn’t think we’d last a year just goes to show if you are meant to be, beautiful frank he’s absolutely gorgeous, it’s great to relax and it looks dry and warm we can have four seasons in one day here in the UK lol, for now take care see you Friday xx
it was cleverly done Trent with that water system Stay out in the wild and stay healthy. wash hands every time you come back from shopping and dry / wash handles on the basket when buying food, remember to buy wet rags❤❤❤❤❤❤
As we sit in California on mostly home isolation since we are in our 60s-it was a welcome treat to see your new video! Excited to see more of Argentina! Stay well and Trek on! ❤️
I totally get why you cried. We lived in Sicily for 2 1/2 years. Excited to see home, but I cried my eyes out on the airplane as we flew over Mt. Etna. Yes, bitter sweet, but with wonderful memories and recipes. 💖 your videos
I think I'm a little bit in love with all three of you and your epic adventure. Thank you for sharing your journey and for your wonderful storytelling.
You guys just finished a HUGE part of your journey. One that you have built throughout the trip south. The end of an EPIC chapter. I think that's where you emotions came from. Love you guys. Can't wait to see the new chapter unfold.
I am Happy you Have reached the North South of Argentina Safely and GOD Kept Both of You safe from those Two tires from the truck. I Wish Both Of You Wonderful and Blessed Time in North Argentina. Have a Blessed Week.
I cried too guys! Lol you guys are such wonderful folks, I know I'm definitely not alone when I say " we are all so grateful that you have let us tag along on your amazing journey" I love you guys like family. Continue to live life to the fullest and stay safe. ❤
Trent, Allie, Frank You guys have been getting me through the covid isolation, You guys are awesome! Keep up the great travels & congrats on your engagement!
YOU GUYS! My emotions! It's like 730am and I'm crying. Don't mind me. I love watching your journey, and I cannot wait to see what you have in store now. Africa? Europe? I honestly don't even know where you can go, but I'm so so excited to continue watching. ♥️♥️
You 3 (including Frank) put the REAL in REALity! You don’t sugar-coat your situations. You tell your stories the way they’re happening, yet you have a positive attitude and can laugh at those situations that would make some people get angry &/or cry. Good for you for being REAL! 👍👍
You guys are Rock Star’s. Because I can’t travel like this anymore because of health problems so I love you guys. I have driven to the lower 48. So I’m proud of that. Love you guys California Joanna
Literally felt the emotions in the clip with you two tearing up! I can’t believe I’ve watched every videos you guys have put out for the past year like clock work! It’s something I look forward to tbh..
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this amazing journey. There were days I didn't think I was going to be able to see the end of the journey. I will pray for your next journey. What you have done is a make my dreams come true. Thank you. Hopefully I will continue to make these doctors wrong a little while anyway. Love to you all and for all your future journeys. Please pray for my future journey also.
I can understand your excitement when the tires came off the truck. My experience was with a car tire coming at me and then I met the car, the hub was dragging on the pavement with sparks flying everywhere. I stopped and was able to take the man back to the last town we passed where he was able to hire a wrecker service to help with his car. Not sure if they ever found the tire as it went into a heavily wooded area. Safe travels as you head North into new adventures. As always, thanks for taking us along.
What an awesome adventure you guys are having. Obviously you are videoing your journey but are you keeping a journal? This would make an amazing book using pictures from your videos and the drone. You two are a beautiful couple and Ali I felt your tears, it must have felt like you were leaving a dear old friend. 💕💕
With regard to strapping down your bike... the strap probably broke because the bike rear suspension deflected over a bump and the rebounding suspension stretched the strap beyond its strength. I strap our bike by the rear suspension arm. This way the rear wheel is held tight to the rack, but the bike can deflect up and down as needed when going over bumps. It also imparts less shock to the bike rack. It might be worth trying. BTW, love your videos.
Now that so many of us are in areas that are shutting down and practicing self-isolation and social distancing, your videos have just become a public service. We're living through you guys!
The first time I went to Ushuaia, I teared up. The last time when I left, I did as well. It's something that's remarkable. Something you will remember for the rest of your life. I hope to go back one day.
My favorite part of this video is the way y'all look at each other. There is so much love and respect pouring out of each of you. It's so refreshing to see a couple who are so in love and it shows in every little thing you do for each other. Y'all are by far my favorite youtube couple and I look forward to your adventures. Much love from Oklahoma!💕🌎🚐🐕💏
You are probably close to Bariloche, you should definitely stop there for a few days. Bariloche is a beautiful place on the mountains, it is very nice place to be in the end of summer, it is a ski resort, maybe more expensive, but beautiful, you will find some similarities with Utah...
I swear, Frank is the Best Boy! 😍 Glad for your sake you're in warmer conditions now, but boy, that was some beautiful Country down there! Journey Onward!
Thank you...I’m sitting at home recovering from surgery #3. Saved up a few videos to watch between sleep and pain management to keep my mind positive. You inspire me and make me smile. Thank you
I love how your blue heeler listens to you. We have a heeler and she is is such a good dog. We are about to lose her. She has been suffering from cancer and is near the end now. We are hoping to get a little more time with her, but she is really starting to go down in health. Looking forward to your new adventures.
Trent Childs, at 4:54, when Allie reaches out and strokes your shoulder, with your good dog Frank on your lap, you are the luckiest man on earth. A good partner and a good dog.....simply the best.
Such an honor to be along with you two on this adventure! it has been a lot of fun, inspiring and touching! One day ill buy you two a beer and chat for awhile!!
A monumental accomplishment and the bitter sweet reality of turning the van around and heading back home. It's not the end, but the beginning of a new adventure.
Best video you folks have put out in a long while. Several small references to food and a lot of scenery. A pleasure to watch over the what has become your focus of food and coffee vs. travel and scenery. THANK YOU!
Love that you guys didn’t even mention the craziness going on in the world right now, and didn’t seem to be that concerned about it. What a refreshing break from this madness! ❤️
You guys are so amazingly loving with one another. I love watching how surreal you are it's great when you find a place that's special to your heart. Continue enjoying the journey
Lost two sailboards in San Francisco when nylon tie down straps snapped when semi drafted me. Those straps need to be replaced yearly! They look stronger than they are. I went to backing up tie downs with a steel coated gybe line. That also allowed me to put a lock on it. Luv your videos, Patagonia has always has been the promised land to me!
Awww I melted at your emotional moments together and yr love of almond croissants (my fave too). You still have loads of adventures to come. Check out Córdoba if you can. I worked with someone who studied there. I lived in its Spanish namesake for 3 months, way back. Now that borders are closing, you need to get toiletry items and decide where to hunker down for a while. Argentina is probably great for social distancing! All the best to you and yr families in these uncertain times xx
I came across your videos tonight , and I've been binge watching, thank you for letting me go along with your amazing journey. You guys are the best,, it's great the way you get along so well, even being together 24 hours a day, and Frank is a great little traveler, he's so cute.
😱 Beware slippery rocks, water, and electrity. Be careful guys, I've a bad heart! Thank you for sharing such a remarkable place that we not have been able to see otherwise. And for being so darn likable and cute. And for bringing along Krank🐕😘
Thanks for sharing, tears as well here because it has been wonderful anticipation to see you for the next adventure. Stay healthy, moving and vertical as long as you can because this is not over.
I feel your emotions as you begin your journey back home. Allie ... totally with you on the almond/chocolate croissants ... especially when served warm. Trent ... do you know how much you look like Vincent Van Gogh when you wear that straw hat? I’ve been white knuckling a virtual steering wheel as you negotiate the windy roadways. We were heading north towards Red Bluff California a few years back ... on our way home from Southern California when the wind took the roof off our RV. Fortunately there was no one behind us to get hit by the flying debris. A very interesting story ... but, this is your site not mine. Drive safely ...
When I think back to earlier videos , Trent you were so much more reserved. Great to see your personality come through much more !! The two of you are a great pair !!
In 1977 my Breton gf and I left Seattle hitch hiking, bus, train, walk, van for 18 months speaking French, Spanish, English and some German we had the probably the most Mind blowin experiences apart from 4 years in Russia that came later, thank you so much for this Video, I did not have a fancy van and about one dollar a day, bought and sold stuff, taught English and French, and made out way! Subsequently this experience led me to a unique position as a Latin American Specialist in trade and travel and commercial diplomacy! At 68 I am back on the road, kids grown, and having a BLAST, Keep on Truckin, God Bless, you, Que Dios te bendiga hoy y siempre, Dr, Marco from Medellin Colombia!
My daughter and I have been living internationally for 7 years and have been house sitting non-stop for the last 4 in several countries. Suddenly we've come to a screeeeeeching halt and have no idea what the future has in store for us. We are currently 'trapped' and unable to leave where we are and I've spent the last week I think binge watching all your videos and then also looking around for a second-hand RV or something I could remodel since we possibly have no where to go soon. Best of luck staying clear of the virus and the travel restrictions. Be extra glad you brought your house with you! :) :) :) PS - I'm Frank's biggest fan! :) :) :) :) :)
I finally got a chance to watch this video. I've been sleeping a lot, pneumonia. Got tested (negative) but they are keeping an eye on me because I have Raynauds/Lupus/Fibro and I've had lung problems in the past. Hitting cold fingers on something...I definitely know how that feels. Please be careful out there everyone. If you can stay in your home, quarantine yourself believe me you don't want this crap. I hope this stuff doesn't affect you guys Trent & Allie. Make sure you get plenty of soap, hand sanitizer and canned goods. Safe travels and once again thank you for letting me tag along. ❤️
I have to tell you guys ,you are a great pare ,I don't follow much of anything except Quilting ,you are unique ,are naturals not fake couple ,and easy to watch ,I feel I'm there with you even I'm today turn 78 , I'm in Argentina at the time , fixing an Condo to sell later , Resident of USA since 65 , supposed to be back to AZ but this Corona Virus is changing everything and everyone plans ,hope you get to stay Healthy
