My trick for selling old inventory is burrying it. I have my inventory in bins, but don't have shelving so they're just stacked on top of each other in my spare bed room. Want to sell something in bin J? Put it on the bottom of the stack. Works every time!! 😂
Thank you for being real and being honest about sales. I am new to selling and watch some reseller that are just rocking it while I'm over here struggling. I was starting to think my sale must be just me. I started to doubt myself. Then I watch your videos and you have a way to make others feel better just by just being real and honest. Thank you for being you. We appreciate you. ❤
I swear they have us on varying servers, rotating us with zero sales, to then allowing sales. I went 6 days zero sales, then the next week, big sales, all coming from certain states.
You are doing great 🎉 . Every bit of extra money is a true blessing. Thank you for sharing about taking your parents on a trip. ❤ I’m still at the begining of my reselling journey and like you, I have a full time job and a family. You are truly enjoying and inspiring.
Bad sales this last week or so :(!! Also, little known trick to get your item to sell, decide you want to keep it and put it in your own closet. Works for me so often, not even kidding. If I'm on the fence with listing it I'll tell my daughter that I'm going to list it but kinda want to keep it and shes like "Well, its going to sell" ha ha.
I just started at the beginning of October and despite heating this all over social media, I'm getting sales consistently despite only having 130ish listings.
I had one really good weekend in October, but the rest of this month has been terrible (and historically October has been my best month). I'm also a mom doing it in my spare time and didn't have much time to list in September, but I got back on track in October. I call it reseller constipation because it feels like everything has been stuck. Starting running a 40% off sale on ebay on 300 items in my 800 item store, so far not much interest but the sale will run for a couple of weeks. I will probably just keep lowering the prices until these duds sell and just get rid of the unsellable stuff. I hate to get rid of items that have been sitting because I invested time and money into them, but don't want them weighing down my store. I had a few really good sales. I am trying to keep listing despite it being so discouraging and not spending much on new inventory until things get better (bins, free stuff, stuff from my house).
It’s been reported that after a 90 day time line, eBay algo buries those old listings. What I did was took a few new photos,. Ended the listing, then did sell similar added in the new photos made them the main ones and 2nd one. All of a sudden few days later my older ones sold for more money than I had them up for originally!
My sales were sooo bad these last 2 weeks, I normally source every weekend, but had to skip it this time, cause I was feeling really discouraged and unsure because of no sales😢 and it makes me so sad because sourcing is my hobby😂
Sales were great for me about two or three weekends ago, but they slowed way down, until today...I got a few, so I'm hoping it'll be a good weekend! And I'm still bummed about Poshmark switching their fee structure back and realizing how much less I'm making per sale once again. 😢
I think sales will improve after the election. When I ran a brick and mortar, every presidential election year that 3 weeks before were always down in third quarter. Back then there wasn’t early voting and certainly not as contentious as this years. Keep the faith!
